Olenka-Olenka, you are a bit confused :) UIA has no requirements for the size of the suitcase, except for the weight limit - you can hand in 20 kg of luggage for free, but even if you pay the benefit you are not allowed to take more than 32 kg.

I want to add that back (from Croatia) the weight of the luggage should not exceed 30 kg. In 2008, we had to repack our suitcases because of 1.5 kg.

We still have a one and a half year old toddler with us, weight is allocated for him, because food is in jars, a first aid kit, a pot, etc. will take more weight than my summer things :)))

I got through to the call center (not easy), they said that for each adult 20 kg, for infants - 10 kg. The weight requirement does NOT change on the way back (for safoo).

Olenka-Olenka, we had one suitcase for adults and 1 toddler. We just took wine with us on the way back, and the luggage weighed 31.5 kg. We were told to repack up to 30kg. You cannot take drinks with you on the plane, except for a bottle for a child.

Yes, I already understood that one bag shouldn’t weigh 30 kg (so that the movers don’t accidentally overstrain :)) Thanks for the tips, we flew to Egypt several times, but we never asked such a question, that’s how life changes from the appearance of a baby. And I will still take food, water and diapers with me for the first time, because they can’t give me a clear answer about the supermarket, it seems to be there, but I found reviews that it was half empty. I’d better take it, otherwise we’ll have another 70 km from the airport. Until we get there, we won’t want to get out anywhere in the next couple of days, especially in search of diapers :)))) And we’re going to Umag, they write CITY, but I think it’s quite small.
