I'm going to Croatia by car from Odessa
Last year I went with my family to Bulgaria and Istanbul by car, this year I am going to go to Croatia and Montenegro (I have never been to these countries). We are going without children, 4 adults for about 10 days without a road. If anyone had experience of such trips, tell us what visas you need to open, where you can stay cheaply, what excursions to go on. I plan to book hotels with a travel agency. (As an option, we are considering a trip to Cyprus, I have already been there).

Well, as far as I know, everyone travels to Croatia from Ukraine through Hungary - for this you will need a Hungarian transit visa. Croatia (for the summer) and Montenegro do not need visas now. To visit - I think, in Croatia there are Plitvice lakes, it is possible the island of KRK; the cities of Split, Trogir, Dubrovnik (I won’t tell you about cities in the north of the country). In Montenegro - the Bay of Kotor, the Ostrog Monastery, the Grand Canyon ... And of course, the wonderful Adriatic Sea! I think the list of sights can still be replenished)) Although it's great to just travel there, not even to the sights - there are so beautiful places there!

We will be traveling from Odessa, so Hungary does not concern us at all. The transit countries here are Moldova, Romania and Serbia.
