I can’t say anything about Bulgaria, it was a very long time ago, back in Soviet times. In Croatia and Montenegro, quite recently, the last time in September. Both there and there the food is decent, it all depends on your preferences. Excellent fish dishes, shrimps, you can go to an oyster farm. I really liked the rack of lamb, prosciutto, Negush steak, kaymak. Decent wine and beer. Yes, I almost forgot - cheeses, delicious, natural. - attentive, friendly, responsive. There is practically no language barrier. Holidays in the Adriatic, I do not miss any country in Asia, and perhaps half of Europe.

I'm in Bulgaria now, we drove around the coast before the start of the summer season. As always, the food is top notch. Delicious both in an ordinary bistro by the road and in a resort. We dined in Nessebar, dined in Ravda, on the way to Sliven, in Ruse - everywhere it was very tasty, inexpensive. For two with my husband - 2 soups, salad, meat dish, 2 pyrlenki (cakes with garlic) or baked bread and 2 beers - approx. 20-25 leva - 10-13 euros.
