If you come to Croatia without prior reservation, what are the chances of finding something
If you come to Croatia without prior reservation, what are the chances of finding something normal not for crazy money. I'm talking about the period from 08/26/2013-09/05/2013. Maybe someone also went without armor. I will be grateful for the answers.

We were in September. Many villas and apartments were advertised for rent, the money is not crazy at all. The Germans and Poles would come in cars and go from house to house, choosing.

Since this year, with Croatia, a visa regime for citizens of Ukraine. So without prior reservation it will not work. We're late.

We were last year at the beginning of September. I will answer your question like this: depending on what you want to choose (normal, for each one). Small hotels with normal service (there were in Baska Voda in Millenij) will most likely be occupied, in large hotels, there may be a chance to settle, but if they are not bought out by tour operators and the location of the room (sea view, etc.) is not too important for you. Europeans prefer to stay in the apartments of small private mini-hotels, the situation is simpler here, especially if it’s not important to live on the “first line”, the prices are really not high (we searched for about 1.5 hours, but found excellent apartments with a gorgeous sea view and yacht parking for 50 € in Rogoznica - we love this place very much). If you eat with a company, then you can completely rent a villa. But in any case, keep in mind that in September (I’m not talking about August) there are a lot of people, and if possible, it’s still better to book a hotel in advance (Croats usually don’t require prepayment and don’t put forward special conditions).

So we were in Rogoznica. This is a small resort town with a large number of pebble beaches, very calm and cozy. There were plenty of free apartments and villas.

What makes you take risks? Do you want adrenaline or money? What's the point ?
