Our tour includes breakfast only. How much does it cost on average to have lunch (first, second, salad) and dinner (second, salad drink). Can you recommend an economical option?

Eating out in Croatia is not cheap. The cuisine is mostly Italian. Dishes from fresh fish and marine reptiles are unpleasantly surprised by the high cost. Economy option: find a decent pizzeria, or look for restaurants working on a buffet system - tasty, appetizing and without restrictions. At such a buffet, lunch or dinner will cost no more than 100 kunas (15 euros) per person. In general, I don’t want to have lunch in the heat during the day, we bought fruits, even in Croatia there are very tasty pastries. Have a nice rest!

15 euros per person on average. Pizzeria in Croatia? Ashamed. You may as well not go anywhere. Pick up cereals, dried tea bags, etc. People go to Italy for pizza. There is excellent cuisine in Croatia, are you going on vacation? Eat fish, seafood, drink local wine, which is what Croatia is famous for, and you will have a good rest and good memories of your vacation. Saving on dinners at a fairly decent cost of living is unreasonable.

This is true. But people asked for an economy option. And fish and seafood is great and very tasty, but expensive. Let them choose based on the budget, but it is different for everyone. Have a nice rest!

Thanks everyone for the replies. Croatia is really an expensive region! I rested on the Istrian peninsula, Poreč. Lunch with fish from 50 euros for 2 people and more. I don't know how, but it's too expensive for me. One slice of pizza 30 kn is about 4.5 euros, so the buffet we found for 17 euros is the cheapest option.

Not one is too expensive for you. When Croatia joins the euro zone, food prices there will equalize with the rest of Europe, and as long as there are kunas, Croatia will remain one of the most expensive, but, you see, the most beautiful and cleanest European countries. Happy travels!
