Plitvice Lakes and Brijuni Park
We are going to Croatia in June, to Umag. I would like to visit Brioni Park and Plitvice Lakes, but my baby and I are 1 year old. Here are the questions: is it possible to visit these excursions with a baby (judging by the photo, there are log paths on Plitv. lakes and no fences, we planned to take a stroller with us)? How long does it take to get from Umag to Plitvice Lakes? Are there cafes in the parks? Interested in advice on both parks.

A tour of Plitvice takes 3-4 hours, and also the road. It will probably be more difficult with a stroller there than without a stroller.
From Umag to the lakes 220-230 km.
The tile is very pretty.

I would advise you to think again about Plitvice: there are a lot of people there, and everyone goes toe to toe, some guides "drive" their tourists if the bus is delayed somewhere along the road, some do not go so fast, but with a stroller anyway not real, especially the second part after the boat. There are no cafes anywhere, and no one will give them time, so the whole day without food. They traveled with us with a child of 5 years old, all the way they asked to stop at least at some cafe - but all stops are only on schedule, i.e. 2 pieces for 15-20 minutes.
And in Brioni with a child it is quite possible. Moving is simple, there is a toilet on the boat and cafe. You will be transported along Brioni itself by a train, a rather long stop at the local zoo, then there will be free time for about an hour, you can wander.

Thanks for the advice.

we were in June with a one-year-old (11kg) baby. Carried him in a sling. Convenient and comfortable. With a wheelchair, it is difficult to get through in some places.
in the village of KR "KA they were. And they lagged behind the guide, periodically listened to "foreign" guides. There are several cafes, there is a toilet. There are a lot of impressions!

Safoo doesn't fit in a sling anymore :))) height is 84 cm. And our son is extremely super active, the expression "energizer" is about him :))) , min 10 :)))) But, of course, I would like to visit at least somewhere, so I try to understand in advance for myself where we can and where we can’t. He doesn’t sit on his hands for long, periodically alternating with a stroller, but so - give the guy freedom :))) I really wanted to get to the Plitvice Lakes, but I saw random photos of tourists with narrow paths, read your advice and realized that this time it was probably not fate . Remained - Brioni Park, maybe tell me something else. Safoo, I still have questions for you (if you will), because you were also with the baby and in the same period as we are going (where can I write to you?) I look forward to more valuable advice from everyone .....

aa555aa, yes, of course, ask questions, better in a personal.
Our son also has "batteries in his ass". But we were not on the Plitvice Lakes, we were in the village. KRKA. and we arrived there for dinner, when it was time for my son to sleep. so everything was fine :)

It seems to me that it is quite possible to go to Opatija, there is, of course, nothing special to see there, but if time allows and there is a desire, then why not? I also really liked Groznjan and Motovun. It was one excursion for us: first we arrived in Grozhnyan, where they give free time and there is a cafe, however, there is one, and there is an area with tables where you can sit and eat. And then moving to Motovun. Downstairs there was a truffle tasting, or rather products with truffles, and then we went up by bus to Motovun itself, there, of course, it is unlikely to work with a stroller - a walk along a narrow road, but it is short, 30-40 minutes, again, at any time you can turn back and wait for the others at the entrance (the road goes in a circle).
