Just arrived from Croatia. I was leaving - the weather turned bad, the sky was overcast, the sea began to cool rapidly (the cold current approached) and the owner of the villa where I stayed (Dubrovnik region) said that summer was over this year. Maybe the weather will clear up, but many places in resort towns close establishments by October, as the season is over. Last year we spent the whole second half of September in jackets, the year before we even managed to swim a bit.
