Hotel Marco Polo is good in Croatia too. We rested in it from August 30 to September 9, 2010. As far as I understand, the hotel is one of the best on the island. Naturally, you should not compare it with Turkish hotels, because there are no hotels with large territories in Croatia. A little about the hotel: the certificate is quite simple, inside is much better :) The territory near the hotel is well-groomed. Outside on the terrace there are 2 pools and a jacuzzi. The sea is nearby, you need to leave the hotel and go down two small stairs. The beach is small, but when we were there, there was enough space for everyone. There are sun loungers and umbrellas. It seems that you can take towels at the reception, but we bought Croatian ones for ourselves :) There is a restaurant on the ground floor. We liked the food, although the breakfasts were the same from day to day. Dinners were different and always very tasty. We didn't order lunch. We had a standard room, it is quite small, but we had plenty of space. Of the minuses: we did not have a hair dryer in the room and my request to bring one was never satisfied. Although I didn't push too hard. The hotel has a very convenient location, because it is close to the sea, the old town. Separately, I will say on excursions, in the hotel they are more expensive than in the city (as usual).

We went on an excursion to the island of Mljet from Korcula Travel. We liked everything, the company is good. Located in the center of the old city, opposite the Konzum store. By the way, in the same company we rented a car. There is much more to describe, but I will say that we never regretted that we went to Korcula to the Marco Polo hotel, because. - a beautiful island and a good standard hotel. Thank you very much, but we seem to have rested almost at the same time. We were from September 1st to 15th. I was interested in information before departure, but thanks anyway. By the way, their service is not very good, and breakfasts too, and the prices for drinks - but they have it everywhere. Our room was super - I would say ordinary. We were on our own car, so we traveled ourselves, we were in Dubrovnik, Split, on the way home on Plitvice and Bučina lakes - this is a fairy tale. I wonder if you caught a group of Englishmen, for whom they turned on the machine with hot drinks in the evening, but we were refused - disgusting discrimination.
