Excursion cost
Tell me, please, how much do excursions to Plitvice Lakes and Dubrovnik cost if you go from Central Dalmatia? Or is it better to go to Dubrovnik by renting a car?

An excursion to Plitvice Lakes last year cost 560 kunas (7 kunas-1 dollar), to Dubrovnik about the same, maybe 50 kunas cheaper. They leave for Dubrovnik from Central Dalmatia by sightseeing bus at 7 am and arrive in the city around noon, i.e. the road is very long (the distance from Split to Dubrovnik is about 230 km).
When it comes to car rental, most tourists in Croatia do just that. It is very convenient (you order directly at the hotel reception and the car is “driven” to the hotel for you), car rental costs from 35 to 65 euros per day, depending on the car class + gasoline at your expense.
So, you decide.

Regarding prices, I’ll tell you how we went from Baska Voda in July this year: Plitvice Lakes - 700 kunas and more than 500, I don’t remember exactly, to Dubrovnik. We went by bus, the road is long and sometimes there are even those sections! Especially to Dubrovnik, because most of the way goes along winding highways along the sea. But we went to the lakes mainly along the autobahn, in my opinion it is easier for those who like to drive a car. BUT! on the way to Dubrovnik, there are SO many simply luxurious siteseeng's outside the window that if I had a car, I would certainly make stops! Another nuance is that on the way to Dubrovnik you pass through the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, i.e. entry and exit through customs points, buses are almost not looked at, but "private traders" can, i.e. you need to be ready for this, and be sure to have a passport with you. In the Bosnian town of Neum there is a stop for food, etc., there is a shop with prices lower than in Croatia, they have less VAT, also right after the exit from Bosnia on the way to Dubrovnik there are oyster farms, you can stop and taste, approx . 5 kunas per piece.
In general, it is up to you to decide how to go, but the beauty that surrounds you everywhere will amaze you in any way! good luck!
