For 3 years my wife tried to persuade me to go to this wonderful country - Greece. Let's go to about. Rhodes. But this country, in particular, this hotel exceeded all our expectations. We chose the hotel for a long time. According to the pictures, reviews, which are practically non-existent, we stopped at Lindos Village. In all prospectuses there were photos of cool, new rooms, overlooking the sea, not a single step anywhere, in the photo. We rested recently, in August 2013. We arrived at the hotel at 6 am, at the reception desk through the lip I met a tall Russian lady, with the habits of the head teacher of the school, who said that the check-in would be around 15-00. Imagine the hellish heat, we are from the plane, we are 2 families, 3 and 4 people. Nothing to do, put on swimming trunks, and rushed to the sea. And now attention!!!!! ! We had a shock, a bunch of different terraces led to the sea. We started counting steps. The steep climbs that we overcame up and down were a terrible ordeal. Steps to the sea about 350 pieces one way. Now multiply by 3 times a day. I'll be shorter, let's go to a restaurant, one for 2 hotels. We were in shock again. The size of the buffet was so small that people stood in a column, there were no seats, it was impossible to walk through the hall. The food sucks so much and it's just not there that there's a fight going on - a thousand and a half people at the same time. We went to another beach, the sea is the cleanest, but when we swam a little further, we began to feel the urge. Human feces lay in a continuous layer in the sea. Finally we were settled. The room is like an underground bunker, there is no furniture, except for a nightstand carved by a local craftsman. Every day at the reception were witnesses to the showdown vacationers. The manager refused to come. We asked for 10 days to fix the TV - the Russian channel practically did not show, bring furniture, clean the room, bring 2 pillows - no one simply reacted. When we began to resent, the lady from the upper reception said, complain to anyone you want. We have a season, a lot of people. We were shocked when the woman brought her wallet and phone case - all eaten by rats. And when we, going down these hated steps, slightly stepped on the rats. It's scary to walk in the evening - they had a feast. Took a few excursions - a complete divorce. 3 hours sailed to about. Simi, where sponges are caught. 10 minutes excursion, then lohopets are taken to a restaurant - 370 euros they were left - food - such rubbish, even seafood - back again 3 hours. And from each for 85 euros. We rented a car -160 euro minibus. We traveled all over the island in one day. We visited all the excursions ourselves for 5 euros, which the Greeks sell us for 65 euros. We arrived at the Butterfly Valley, descended for an hour and a half. The legs refused to move. It turns out that butterflies are not visible, since they are black, when they take off, they are red from below. Complete divorce. On another excursion, 7 sources are the same - they beat 7 fountains from tubules - there are numbers next to them. Well, what-we are quite such fools-they think? You can do this in your garden. On the way we stopped at various taverns. Do not believe that Greece is a country of delicious food and wine. Food-rubbish-do not know how to cook, seafood, even more so. Sour wine. They took home wine, Metaxa, to the guests. Everyone tried and did not drink. In general, there is nowhere to go from the hotel. To the highway, to the supermarket-30 minutes walk. No entertainment. But most importantly, the hotel staff is arrogant and cynical. frostbitten. In custody. In Greece, no more foot. Lazy people, constant siesta. Crazy prices. A complete scam for everything.
