I rested with my son (7 children) and mother in August 2011.
I'll start my story with the fact that the Doreta Beach Hotel even
up to 2 stars does not hold out, although it is a 4-star.
Arriving at the hotel, we were placed on the 2nd floor, a standard room. I don't know who set such standards, but the number is "hellish". Dirty, antediluvian, with miraculous air-conditioning equipment (on the floor), painted dark green, which worked like a tractor. . . I have never seen such a marvelous marvel in my life. Well, at least the child laughed....
At the request to be moved to a room on the 3rd-5th floors (supposedly superior rooms), at the reception they kindly told me that for 7.50 euros per person per day, we would be moved, BUT....the rooms are all occupied...

After long walks to the reception (they kicked like the last sucker, fed with promises - come in an hour, at 18-00, tomorrow), in the end they "complained" and offered a room on the 5th floor, while issuing a receipt for a completely left amount, from which it follows that they put some of the money in their pocket... but oh well, it’s not my business... I thought, at least they moved out of the horror catacombs of the 2nd floor....BUT...
The room on the 5th floor turned out to be tolerable....with a jacuzzi... BUT WITHOUT WATER, usually after 17-00. But this is all nonsense... There is no soundproofing in the rooms !!! ! They're talking in the next room, we can hear them!! ! The hotel rooms are like in an anthill....A long corridor and everything in the rooms...
The horrors began further when 37 people from the hotel ended up in the hospital with terrible poisoning. My mother was ill for 7 days, me and the child for 3 days. Vomiting everywhere in the hotel....With me, a 3-year-old child vomited near the elevator, and the other - on the trail. day at the beach. A group of Russian tourists from the hotel returned halfway from an excursion, sorry, with diarrhea, not up to walks.
Calling the doctor for me and my family, at the reception, the "sweet" hotel employee said, it's most likely you, from the sun !!! ! There are no words - there is an epidemic in the hotel, but they do not take any measures !! ! Although....measures were taken ---- for breakfast after 37 people were sent to the hospital, in the restaurant at the entrance, 2 managers literally grabbed the hand and handed champagne !! ! And it should be noted that the waiters from the restaurant also got sick!!!
The poisoning seemed to be cured, they picked up a viral infection in the same place (fever, inflammation in the throat, ears) --- all three had to drink antibiotics.
With so many tourists and such a small area of the hotel, all this is not surprising. The pool is small and teeming. . . the dirt is incredible! Used condoms on the beach... Thank God, at least they didn’t catch syphilis. Surprised by the reaction of the hotel to what is happening !! ! The fact that money was spent on calling doctors (one call costs 130 euros), medicines are nothing compared to spoiled rest and the desire to temper the child before the new school year, and as a result, treatment without end...

At the request to change the hotel after 2 days of staying in this horror hotel, the tour operator refused with the justification - all hotels are full!
The review is written chaotically, but everything described as it was! Maybe someone will come in handy when deciding to go or not to go!!!
NEVER AGAIN IN THE LIFE OF "Doreta Beach".... NEVER!! ! You wouldn't wish such a stay in HELL to your enemy!! !
