We traveled with a group of 12 people (six children (11-6 years old)). We arrived at 3:00 am and were seated immediately. Our family with three children had a duplex room on the first floor with a view not to the sea.
The territory of the hotel is compact, in addition to the main building there is a separate one near the sea, for 8-10 rooms. One general restaurant and two "alacarte". Pool bar, bar in the building and self-service bar-cafe.
There is one pool, two slides, a kids club with everything around, an open stage and several sports fields. There are not enough sunbeds by the pool, by the sea - it’s easier with them.
The sea has medium-sized pebbles, entry and exit without swimming shoes is difficult. For two weeks, only two days were calm and there was an opportunity to swim in clear water. Warm water. There is a kite center next door.

Food - I really liked it, usually several varieties of meat from rabbit to lamb, enough greens and fruits, local dishes, soups in the evenings. On Thursday there are several varieties of fish, on other days - one, but cooked in different ways.
Beer and three types of wine from 10 am to 11 pm on self-service. Not diluted, though not the highest grade.
Strong drinks (here they are diluted) and cocktails - in bars.
Ice cream is free.
The hotel staff is not intrusive, but they don't bother too much either. As it became clear, the hotel is designed primarily for French pensioners, and they are treated better than everyone else. Animators lit up well, but it's not always clear, because. they are not familiar with Russian. And this despite the fact that the main participants in competitions (especially for children) are Russians and Poles.
Disadvantages:
The first two days the air conditioning system did not work in the hotel. At all. It just hasn't been turned on since the winter.
Accordingly, the balcony was open and because. the first floor, then living creatures like harmless, but huge grasshoppers and habitual harmful mosquitoes periodically came in. Once a mouse was running around in the room, "pleasing" my wife. Mink staff the next day concreted and this "visit" was the last.
Friends once came across a stale piece of meat, but I tend to consider this an accident, because. for two weeks it was the only case.
You can also rent a car from Russian-speaking guides at the hotel and across the road in rental cars. The price tag will be lower, but slightly, 5-10 euros, or even at the same level. Gas stations are a kilometer to the right and a couple of kilometers to the left. Diesel - 1.3, gasoline - 1.7. It’s better not to go to Rhodes by car, parking is tight there. Very.
Buses run for 2.8 euros per adult. Schedule at the reception, buy tickets at the shop near the bus stop in front of the hotel.

The speed on the highway is 80 km / h, in settlements - 50. But many people drive faster. I saw the police only once, although in three days I traveled around the island twice and even rode inside the island. Often there are signs that speed video is being recorded, but the locals only add gas in these places. Perhaps these are signs that there MAY be a police car with a radar.
Roads are not ideal. There are bumps with traces of the bottoms of cars. In the villages - very narrow, up to the impossibility of passing two cars (especially if someone parked there with an emergency gang). Minorities inside the island can also be 4-5 meters, no more. There are a lot of serpentines, so it's better not to take frankly dead cars like Peugeot 208 (50 euros) with a 68-horsepower diesel engine. It sometimes hardly climbed the hills, into which the Audi A3 convertible (80 euros) jumped with a whistle.
If you plan to move off the asphalt, then it is better to take the same Jimny (40 euros) or Wrangler (115-150), at least they don’t scrape the bottom at every exit to the country road.
A very beautiful place with the confluence of two seas - the Aegean and the Mediterranean. Of interest are the fortresses in Rhodes and Lindos, the remains of the fortress in Monolithos.
Butterflies - not impressed. Well, butterflies, well, a lot, well, nature is beautiful with waterfalls. Ostrich farm - all the more, it looks like a traveling zoo. Although the ostriches themselves are beautiful.
If we gather to Rhodes again, then most likely we will choose another coast, not the Aegean, but the Mediterranean. It looks better in terms of the sea. Although I remember this hotel with good words.
