Family from Kyiv, 3 adults + 1 child (10 years old) 06/26-07/06/2013.25 thousand UAH. Join up.
Briefly about the main thing.
Minuses:
- if there is an opportunity to fly to Greece with another tour operator - go ahead. Join up in Ukraine received visas in the evening, in the morning at 6.00 the plane. My wife was cheating, I somehow calmer.
- The plane was declared by Airbus, they flew on an old Douglas, but soft.
- I met the Le Grand company, the bus was served with a delay, given the heat, they could offer a bottle of water.
-the hotel was the last one on the way from the airport, so an hour on the way, for about. Rhodes is a lot.
- plastic disposable cups
- no mattress on sunbeds, hard.
- with sewerage and plumbing problems, you wash the water in the bathroom on the floor
- the bar is not replenished, for the declared five this is a huge minus
- safe for a fee
billiards, air hockey for a fee
- cockroaches and mosquitoes a bit, but not nice, take fumigators
- a playground without a canopy, with such inferno.
-cleaning the room for a C mark, they forget to put shampoo and gel, wipe the mirrors
- the entrance to the sea is difficult (pebbles), slippers are needed
- the sea is immediately deep, it is unsafe for children and those who cannot swim
Pros:
- got connection rooms 3251/3252, two full standard rooms (2 bathrooms), proximity to the sea
- the hotel is long, original design, in the evening the lighting of the pools is interesting
- accommodation in the middle of the island, it is convenient to start by car
-car rental, traveled all or almost all (1 excursion per adult 45-65 euros, car rental for 4 days 120 euros plus 30 liters of gasoline for 50 euros, we saw everything that was offered from the sights, we are satisfied and complete freedom... )
- ice cream all day
- very beautiful bays on the island, especially from the Aegean side.
Output
- hotel rating 4 with a stretch
- the sea is good (clean)
-we will not fly to the island of Rhodes again, as there are more interesting places in the world, and life is one and I want to see a lot

I want to share my impressions about the rest on the island of Rhodes at the Costa Lindos hotel. The hotel was sold as 5 stars, I’ll say right away that the biggest thing I can say is 4. We flew well, the meeting was well organized. We arrived in 40 minutes. We received enough information during the trip to start the holiday.

We were settled at 14-00, but we were able to have lunch before settling and look around. The first impression was positive: the design of the hotel and the territory is quite nice. The food, as for 4 stars, is normal, but very poorly organized. no plates, then no glasses, almost every day they were looking for something.
Number! I am writing for all vacationers - do not take a pronomer (that's what they are called). They are located, practically, in the basement, quite dead. draw a conclusion, the smell, humidity, mosquitoes in the room. The water that dripped from the air conditioner in our room was diverted into an attached canister, which no one ever drained during the entire stay and there was a puddle on our loggia all the time, which no one wiped out either It was removed only where it can be seen. Once they dropped a thing behind the bed, then when they pushed it away, they were horrified. In the room, ants walked along the floor in one corner.
The condition of the bathrooms at the reception, in the main bar, in the pool area and on the beach is horrific: broken toilet lids, not working water drains, lack of detergents, paper napkins - this is practically the norm. It seemed that the toilets were cleaned once a day and then something -kak. And this is when the hotel is full.
The beach as a whole is not bad - there are enough sunbeds and umbrellas for everyone, towels - a deposit, there is a shower and a changing room. We were lucky with the weather - it was warm up to + 28-30 degrees and the water was 21 degrees. We swam and sunbathed. We rented a car at the nearby Lindos hotel princesses for 2 days for 65 euros, automatic transmission Nissan Micra. I liked the island to drive a car quite comfortably and interestingly.
Unfortunately, the hotel would not be recommended for visits.

We rested in Costa Lindia from July 1 to July 15.2012 together with my husband. Sending side "Labyrinth", receiving side "LE GRAND". Booked a superior room with side sea view. We read in advance all the reviews on all sites since 2010, so everyone knew about the hotel, no surprises were expected. We flew to Rhodes early in the morning, the road to the hotel took about an hour. Upon arrival, we were put on bracelets and sent to breakfast. The rooms were not ready yet. Leaving things in the luggage room, we went to get acquainted with the surroundings. We liked the hotel, everything is as in the description and reviews. Small, with a compact territory, built in the form of a Greek village. Solid pools, waterfalls, bridges. At 14 o'clock. settled into the room. I liked the room: spacious, bright with a large balcony. Direct view of the pool and side sea. In the evening, when lights are turned on throughout the hotel, the view from the balcony is very beautiful, reminiscent of Venice in miniature. The room has two beds, two sofas, wardrobe, dressing table, mirror, bedside tables. The bathroom has 2 sinks and a jacuzzi. We never saw the maid. They came from the sea, everything has already been cleaned, the sheets and towels have been changed. Leave a tip of 1 euro every other day.
The beach is large, sand and pebble, equipped with a changing room, toilet, shower. Umbrellas, sunbeds free of charge, towels - deposit (10 euros). From 10 a. m. to 6 p. m. there is a bar with drinks. The sea is clean - you can see all the pebbles at the bottom. Not a very convenient entrance to the sea - large pebbles. I bathed in special slippers, as in Egypt.
The food was on par. Breakfasts are a bit monotonous, but lunch and dinner are beyond praise: 2 types of fish, various meats, poultry, vegetables. Most of all I liked the barbeque. Very high quality fruits: peaches, nectarines, kiwi, watermelons, melons, grapes. . . The hotel is focused on Italians, so a lot of pasta with various sauces, seafood. Delicious homemade meatballs at the snack bar. In the bar at the children's pool from 10 to 24 hours. various drinks (coffee, frappe, juice, cola, whiskey, vodka, cognac, tequila, rum, camper, beer, mixed cocktails), ice cream - you put it in the cone yourself. An original bar right in the water in one of the pools. Three themed restaurants. Went to Italian - not impressed. The staff at the hotel are friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are almost no Greeks. Russian girls Natalya and Nadezhda are at the reception. Very polite and patient. They promptly solved all our domestic problems (there were not many of them). Hotel guide Ulyana. Attentive, friendly, did not impose anything. We canceled the tour. We took a Toyota Yaris-automatic car for 3 days (120 euros). Ulyana helped to decide on the route, marked all the interesting places on our map. We used this map, traveled the island far and wide. Animators and cooks in the restaurant are Italians. The waiters are students from Hungary, the Czech Republic. . . The maids are Albanians. The mini-club was run by a Russian girl, Katya. All the kids were delighted with her.
We really liked Rhodes. Reminds me of Crimea. The same overgrown mountains, serpentines, only olive groves are still found. The western part of the island is strikingly different from the eastern. The Mediterranean is replete with hotels, less vegetation, the sea is like a mirror. And the Aegean side is more beautiful, wild, the sea is foaming, everything is in lamb, a fresh wind blows in the face, there are many Greek villages.
On the first day we drove around the southern part of the island. We started with Lindos. We climbed the stairs on donkeys to the ruins of the temple of Lindian Athena, where a wonderful view of the captains' houses and bays opens up. Then we went to Prasonnisi - the confluence of 2 seas. A wonderful place where you can stand with one foot in the Aegean and the other in the Mediterranean. The next point is Monolithos - a temple and went down a very steep serpentine to the beach. Swimming in the Aegean Sea is a miracle! Then the village of Sian - the church of St. Pantileimon. Here we bought olive oil and honey.
The second day was devoted to the central part of the island - the lower and upper Tsambika, the tunnel in the valley of seven springs, the Centenary Oak (it turned out to be a plane tree), the Butterfly Valley, the ruins of Kamiros, the fortress of Kritinia. In Embonas we had lunch, bought wine and went to the church of Elijah the prophet. It was the busiest day ever.
On the last, 3rd day, we left a visit to Rhodes and Felirimos. It was very hot in Rhodes, we wandered around the old town, took a boat in Madraki and swept along the fortress wall. We went to the hotel along the Aegean coast and stopped at a small tavern "Helen" on the very seashore. The sun was already setting, the waves were breaking on the pier, the spray was flying all the way to the highway. We had a wonderful time.
All 3 days we talked with the Greeks, very friendly, friendly people.
The vacation is over, but the most pleasant memories remain of Rodas and Costa Lindia.

Hello, I want to leave my review about the hotels and share my impressions of the rest. The flight was terrible, the plane is small and very uncomfortable (one of the passengers called it a "flying bus"), the airport is tiny, which determines the size of the boards accepted. Registration was quick, luggage was also received quickly, we were met by Russian-speaking girls, handed envelopes with useful and necessary information, where were all the phone numbers of the embassy and tour operator, there was a map, and a brochure with a brief description of attractions, as well as a mini-dictionary, which we are very greatly pleased.

The road to the hotel took about an hour and a half. We were already at the hotels at 7 am, they were already waiting for us, the keys and the document for the room for each were prepared. Arrived quickly with no waiting. , despite the fact that the check-in was supposed to start at 12. We arrived with a group of 5 people, we had two rooms, a family room and a superior room (about the rooms a little later). We were put on bracelets and we went to have breakfast. After breakfast we had a meeting with the guide. Russian-speaking girl Ulyana, very pleasant and friendly. Two girls Natalya and Nadezhda work at the reception, any issues can be resolved with them. About food.... There is an early breakfast from 5 to 7 in the morning (tea, coffee, liver), from 7 to 10:30 breakfast, lunch from 12:30 to 14:30 and dinner from 18:30 to 21:30 all buffet. If necessary, you can order a lunch box (an apple and a sandwich), we took it once, on the second we decided to make ourselves sandwiches (it turned out tastier and more). There are three more restaurants on site (Greek, Arabic and Italian). I will say right away that I did not like the cuisine in Greek. In the bar by the children's pool you can take tea, coffee, soft drinks and light cocktails, as well as ice cream and sandwiches. The food is monotonous, but there are always two or three types of meat, two types of fish, a sea of vegetables, various dressings, cheeses, fruits and delicious pastries. For lunch and dinner draft beer (not bad), white and red wine (dry). We return to the numbers. Friends had a family room, on the basement floor (as they call it here "semi-basement"). It was quite a big room, with a large bathroom (two sinks, a bathtub and a shower), the only negative is that the second room had no windows. The guys in general liked the room, they said that, "it's very convenient, you leave the room through the terrace, and you immediately have a sunbed and a pool. " We took a superior room for ourselves. We also liked our room, large, bright, also two washbasins, a comfortable closet, there is a safe, but for the money. The rooms are cleaned every day. We did not take excursions, we rested on our own. We rented a car and drove around the whole island, it turned out to be very profitable for five, we went by bus to Lindos, walked around the city, climbed to the Acropolis (here, be careful !! ! The Acropolis does not work on Mondays, the owners of the local "taxi" (donkeys) I don’t warn about this and they charge a fee for lifting, 5 euros). In the same place in Lindos, we were in the Gulf of St. Petra, a very beautiful place where you can swim and sunbathe on the sand. We visited Archangelos with a no less picturesque beach, not far away there is a mountain (700 meters) Tsambiki, on the top of this mountain there is a temple of the Mother of God Tsambika (a small chapel). I advise you to visit, the climb is difficult, but it's worth it. You should definitely visit the capital of the island, in the city of Rhodes, a very colorful place. We were also in Lardos, it's 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel. They have a Yamas bar where they make crazy cocktails, 5 euros per cocktail. In the same place in Lardos, you can visit a restaurant with traditional cuisine (there is a menu in Russian). Even in Lardos, almost at the entrance to the city, there is a souvenir shop, where you can buy souvenirs and gifts for friends and relatives a little cheaper than near the hotel, they will be well packed there (ceramics and glass are wrapped in a special bubble wrap) About the beach and sea. Unfortunately, we were not lucky with the weather, it was cold and the sea was stormy. Rhodes has 300 sunny days a year. On cloudy days we traveled around the island (which, in principle, was not bad), and on sunny days we lay on the beach or by the pool. The beach is sandy and pebbly, good umbrellas and you can always find a free place. The hotel area is quite large, a lot of greenery and water. As for animation and entertainment, I didn’t like it, it’s boring and dull, because everything is childish. But we did not suffer from this, we entertained ourselves, we had fun with a big company. This hotel is designed for a family, quiet vacation. . For children there is a paradise, slides, small closers. There were a lot of Russians, about 50% of vacationers. Do not expect excessive agility from the Greeks, this is not accepted among them. Life there is slow and measured. The Greeks are very polite, friendly and hospitable. We returned back in comfort on local airlines, although the board was not big, but very comfortable, and most importantly fast. In general, the trip and rest was a success. I give the hotel a solid "4". I wish you a good rest too.

I never wrote reviews, although I travel all the time, I’ve been to a lot of places, I really like holidays in Europe, but I can’t resist, I read the reviews before the trip, and almost cried, the desire to go was gone, but there was no time to change the hotel. . . and I’m glad that I didn’t change, I visited quite a few places, there is something to compare with, the rest was a success.

Many thanks to the staff, reception, etc. Those who were not satisfied, go to Turkey to the arrogant Turks, who see Natasha without refusal in every Russian, and become even more impudent, where the beach is crowded with Russians from the Comedy Club (from Tagil) P. S. I have nothing to do with the inhabitants of Tagil, wonderful people, I'm on the gum. . . The Greeks are very hospitable people, smiling, benevolent, they live in an eternal fiesta and don’t worry about anything. The hotels are full of Italians, but I did not see any discrimination, on the contrary. Yes, the animation is also in Italian. , but everyone is very friendly with us, our child took part very well and played with Italian children and animators. A very good playground, with stinky slides, next to the bar around the clock ice cream, five types, someone wrote that ice cream is far from the sea, but in general it seems like it is for the convenience of children, and for fat aunts who want something sweet, it’s very useful once again take a walk, and it wouldn’t hurt to go to the sprat hall, by the way it’s not bad there + hammam, sauna, everything is clean, after each visitor they clean it. There are courts, equipment for free for those who wish. . . The food is excellent, meat of several types, poultry is different every day, now turkey, then chicken, then duck, seafood, various pastas, risotto, tiger shrimp both in pasta and without, lovers of rusenko grill, three types of carfel, delicious cake, it’s even a pity that not I suffer from obscurity, so I wanted to try everything, but it’s not in my power, and on the second day my husband’s desires for food disappeared, he says, I don’t even know what I want. . . I didn’t notice the lack of sun loungers, although there are a lot of people in hotels, now Europe was resting. On the beach, a man from the staff, seeing me with a girlfriend and towels in his hands, immediately points to free sun loungers (Observes: 0 order, nice) the beach is clean, and the water is running out.....We were unlucky with the rooms, the view was not so hot, but the successful double-glazed window did its job, the room was quiet, given that we have a small son, it was by the way, and friends, although the first floor, but the view is good, no bugs and I didn’t see spiders in the room, they cleaned and changed the towel every day, THANK YOU. Money was left on the table more than once in the room, everything was intact to the penny. (It’s strange that I offered a tip and didn’t take it more than once, I don’t understand, maybe I didn’t give much, but they don’t see how much I give, they only say *no problem*) Yes, about the room, the windows didn’t open, the air conditioner worked. , no one got sick, probably just need to be able to use and turn on the head, and if there is nothing to turn on, go to the reception, they will help you, very pleasant RUSSIAN-SPEAKING workers. There is a jacuzzi in the room, a little truth, but it’s even nothing to lie around. . . Yes, and it is not possible that all the rooms would face the sea, for the number I put 4. . . I advise you to visit Rhodes and stay at this hotel, take a car (we took in Marathon, through, our guide Aigul, because she helped and was responsible for any incident, and the prices are almost the same) We took for two days, but with capacity of the program, you can drive through the island in one day, but you have to go. Yes, someone wrote that the Italians have different bracelets, so let them open their eyes or drink less, everything is like everyone else, and the other bracelets are at the neighboring hotel (by the way, we also walked there in the evening, and they also treated us very hospitably) and at the hotel bracelet across the road. others, they went to our beach, because to. the owner is one. Of course, there is a difference from rest in Europe, but we still rested for 5, and who does not know how to communicate with people, and always live in negativity, let them sit at home, there is nothing for people to spoil the mood. Thanks to the hotel staff for a well spent holiday.

Tour operator commissioned by LLC "Labyrinth". The contract was concluded in OJSC "Bounty Voyage".
Under the terms of early booking, we signed an agreement on 02/01/2011 for a tour to the Costa Lindia Beach 5 * hotel from 07/01/2011 to 07/14/2011
According to the terms of the contract, accommodation in the selected hotel according to the ALL system was 14 days 13 nights in rooms of the PROMO SUPERIOR ROOM SIDE SEA VIEW category. The tour operator "Labyrinth" assured us that the low price for the SUPERIOR ROOM SIDE SEA VIEW rooms is explained by the PROMO action associated with early booking, that the rooms are not located on the basement floor and all with sea views.
On 07/01/2011, at the Rhodes airport, the host of Le Grand did not find two of our group of arrivals in the lists of arrivals. However, then everything seemed to be cleared up and we were escorted to the hotel, where a representative of the Le Grand company, without waiting for our check-in, threw us at the Reception and left.
After her departure, it turned out that two of the families who arrived among us (and our group consisted of 4 families - 5 rooms booked) were not able to move in due to the lack of free rooms. The other two families were categorically denied the SUPERIOR ROOM SIDE SEA VIEW due to the fact that the vouchers simply stated PROMO ROOM. We received vouchers the day before departure, and even if we saw a substitution (to be honest, this never happened - although we traveled to many countries), we would not be able to change anything.
That. 1 question: How did our money for the PROMO SUPERIOR ROOM SIDE SEA VIEW rooms not "reach" the hotel and why were the cheapest rooms booked?
Question 2: How could it happen that we were not booked at all for that day, and even if the hotel provides a replacement for a day, why was this not reported in advance? We would have chosen a different hotel.
At the Reception we were offered to quickly choose 2 families who will leave for another hotel before 13-00 on 07/02/2011, if this happens, they promised us good rooms the next day. However, to my attempts to ask the hotel management for written obligations and guarantees, as well as attempts to record a conversation with the manager on a dictaphone, the reaction was a scandal, screaming and threats to call the police. After my consent to call the police (and we knew about the presence of the tourist police in Greece), the manager retired for a long time to discuss this issue with the management. I hope it is clear that after this incident, and also considering that only I could speak English, we refused the hotel's offer.
An interesting fact: on the bus from the airport, we were handed booklets indicating the details and telephone numbers of the Le Grand company and assurances that in all non-standard situations we can count on their help and support. However, my request by phone to call a representative of the company to the hotel was met negatively, I was told that our hotel guide Aygul is now busy and will not be able to come. And only after an already insistent appeal, we were told that another guide would arrive at the place. The guide Anastasia, who arrived, explained to us in a rather rude manner that the company does not solve such issues at all, and we should have behaved more politely. Meanwhile, the tour operator from the Bounty Voyage company, as well as our close friends, called up Labyrinth LLC and the Le Grand office in Athens and Crete, from there the calls went to Anastasia’s mobile and the management of the Costa Lindia Beach 5 * hotel (by the way, it turned out to be 4*). There were negotiations. The children were tired, the little ones were crying, languishing from the heat. Departure from Moscow was at 06-00, respectively, at 02-00 we were already on our feet. We managed to change the children right at the reception and send them to the pool, and we were left to wait. Arriving at the hotel at 12-00 we stayed at the reception until 19-00. Having not solved the problem, Anastasia left us at about 15:00, referring to other matters.
Question 3: Why are representatives of the host company Le Grand so cold-bloodedly abandoning tourists for whom they should be held responsible in any situation?
Question 4: Why was the category of the hotel not appropriate in the contract?
We continue the story. At 19-00 the manager at the reception took out the keys to 5 rooms and threw them to us in bulk with the words - sort it out yourself and left. The next day it turned out that all the rooms - in the basement, with the exception of one - which only corresponded to the requested category. But not all rooms were habitable. One of the rooms in which my mother and my 2 eleven-year-old sons settled was a dark little room of about 8 square meters. m s, with a tiny balcony overlooking the generator (which rattled all the time) and, most importantly, it did not have a bathroom - only a tiny shower stall, in which my mother could not fit in any way. This room had one double bed and the three of them slept there with the children, and there was nowhere to put an extra bed at all. The next day I asked the reception to change the room, but I met a stream of aggressive Italian untranslatable speech from the lips of the manager and I had to humiliate myself, beg and tell that my mother is a seriously ill person who underwent heart surgery (coronary bypass grafting) in December 2010 I would like to note that telling all this to complete strangers was not part of our plans and was only a necessary measure in this situation. By lunchtime on July 2.2011, the mother and children were nevertheless moved to a decent room, but again in the basement. It was impossible to see even the edge of the sea from any room on the ground floor. Where are the promised ROOM SIDE SEA VIEW? It is also interesting that the hotel staff generally denies such a possible wording of the room category PROMO SUPERIOR ROOM SIDE SEA VIEW. As they insistently explained, they have either PROMO or SUPERIOR.
Question 5: What then was sold to us in Moscow for more money than PROMO ROOM?
The hotel is very noisy, yelling music from morning to night, and at an incredible volume in all bars. This creates a cacophony effect. There are a lot of vacationers, you literally collide with each other both on the territory and in restaurants, the hotel has a very small area for such a large number of vacationers. Huge fat cockroaches crawl along the paths and balconies of the basement. In addition - the hotel has a big problem with sewage - the smell on the territory (which, by the way, the hotel staff does not hesitate to say), as a result of which (and all of the above) it was impossible to open the balcony doors. And since the temperature outside was 40 degrees in the shade - we inevitably had to use air conditioning in the room - as a result, we all have severe bronchitis, some with obstruction and a rise in temperature to 38.5 degrees. Everyone took antibiotics - both children and adults. By the way, I’ll note that it’s good that four of us are doctors (moreover, three are doctors of the highest category, respected in Moscow and known in other cities of Russia).
It is also worth noting the attitude of staff and animators towards Russians. It's hard to even describe it in words. It wasn't just indifference. It seems that with all their actions and attitude they drove us out of the hotel, they tried to show that no one was waiting for the Russians here and did not call. The animators defiantly "did not notice" the Russian kids in the pool, they looked as if "through them". The bars were served last, and the children were not served at all, until my husband "fed" two bartenders.
The beach is very dirty, antediluvian rusty iron-painted souls and a plastic booth with a toilet, the people are in darkness, everyone lies close to each other - like in Sochi in the Soviet years. There are not enough sun loungers and umbrellas for everyone. If you do not take a seat at 07-00, you can not try to find a place under the sun. Towels and things on the beach must be constantly supervised. Once I left a pareo and children's toys - in the evening I saw Italians at this place, but my upbringing did not allow me to indicate to them that this place was ours, and the next day our things were gone. Speaking of the beach - in the hotel description it was stated that the beach was sandy. Nothing like this. The beach is pebbly, and the pebbles are large, it is very painful to walk, you can enter the sea only in special shoes.
There are no 4 additional restaurants. There has never been a Chinese restaurant (according to the hotel staff), and the rest of the restaurants are open 2 times a week and you need to sign up 2-3 days in advance, otherwise there will be no places.
In the rooms, towels are changed every day only on floors from 1 to 2. On the basement floor, the change of linen and towels had to be constantly monitored, asked and sometimes even complained to the reception.
Now about excursions. The hotel guide Aygul, as the person representing the host of Le Grand, seems to have persistently tried to spoil the rest of all vacationers. Apparently, the main goal of her work was not to accompany tourists, but to receive money from them, and she sold and painted the most unpopular and unnecessary excursions, and she was reluctant to sell good worthy excursions, or generally dissuaded them from them. In addition, she gave incorrect information about the excursions provided. She described an excursion to Symi Island as a visit to a stunningly beautiful island, where you can swim on a sandy beach, and the journey on a comfortable ferry will take about 2 hours. Bottom line: the journey by bus with a stop at all the hotels to Rhodes was 1.5 hours, plus 2.5 hours by ferry - that is, 4 hours one way. the ferry was not tourist, but public, except for 7 tourist groups (about 280 people), it also transported local residents, trucks. The tourists spent the entire journey on wooden benches under the scorching sun (over 50 degrees in the sun), under the ferry chimney smoking black smoke. No sightseeing and educational program was provided during the trip. After landing on the island of Symi, guide Tatiana took the group shopping instead of the promised historical information. Then 1 hour of free time was provided, during which our tourists hardly had time to dine, since all the taverns were overcrowded, they did not see swimming places and golden beaches at all. And then - the road back, no different from the road to the island. 3 elderly women and 3 children went on the tour from our group. They returned tired and exhausted, and there is no need to talk about the impact of such an excursion on their health. In another group on the same island of Symi, a family was "forgotten" on the island - a mother with two small children. The child became ill, the mother called for help, shouted after the departing guide, but no one wanted to hear her. The three of them had to get to the hotel on their own money. When the woman in a very polite manner (a low bow to her self-control) expressed all the claims of Aygul, she simply shrugged her hands with the words “I can’t even imagine what we can do for you. ”
And Aygul described the excursion to the Butterfly Valley for 60 euros per person as something unforgettable, amazing, millions of fluttering multi-colored butterflies, etc. Thank God, we lost only 5 euros per person, having arrived there on our own. It turns out that butterflies have “out of season”, gray butterflies of the same species sit on trees, they are almost invisible. Aygü l should have known about this, it turns out that she deliberately tried to sell excursions that no one else buys.
On the contrary, our guide Aigul described the Greek evening as an obscene meeting of wine lovers, according to her, all drinks except alcoholic ones were paid. According to her description, our group decided not to go there with children, and some adults also stayed at the hotel because of the children. My husband and I, contrary to her exhortations, went to the Greek evening together and enjoyed it tremendously. We did not see any obscene drunken company, only bright memories and resentment that our children were not with us. By the way, children - water and juice for free.
In addition, Aigul persistently dissuaded us from renting a car, intimidated us with fines and reprisals against tourists by the Greek police. By renting a car, we once again became convinced of her incompetence and the deceitfulness of her words.
They returned yesterday. We drove to the airport - almost the entire bus from Costa Lindia, EVERYONE was overwhelmed with disappointment and negativity from a failed vacation and wasted money. Do not repeat our mistake - do not go to this hotel!! ! It is exclusively for middle class Italians and below. Firstly, they are accommodated in normal rooms, and all of ours - in the basement. Some tourists from our check-in, after long scandals, sought relocation, but there were problems in other rooms: either near the animation - noisy, or the roof is heated and terrible heat, or with a view of the laundry room of a neighboring hotel, etc. Secondly, the Italians all the animation and service is directed: they are entertained all day on the beach, a lot of activities (aqua aerobics, etc. ), in the evening a full-fledged show in a large amphitheater (for everyone else - miserable contests or a lottery on three wooden steps near a makeshift stage), they are prepared pizza and sandwiches in the snack bar (for everyone else - either burnt pieces or "already over"). By the way, in recent days we have become insolent and went to animation, pizza and cocktails at the neighboring Lindos Princes hotel (both along the beach and through the reception - no one cared about us) - everything is really cool and tasty there. The food in Costa Lindia was generally normal, there were even several types of meat for dinner (it would be better if there was meat for lunch), shrimp were given out once, but the restaurant is small, cramped, and there are no alternatives: in addition to the main restaurant, food was offered only in the snack bar - far from the sea and pools and nothing to eat (dried sausages and sliced cucumbers - nothing hot and freshly prepared, like in other hotels; pizza from 12 to 15 - parchment-thick cake with a drop of tomato paste and cheese, without any toppings - and then you won’t interrogate ). The bed was not changed even once in 11 days. Water from the jacuzzi poured onto the bathroom floor, which was used, of course, only as a shower - I had to throw towels on the floor, so the cleaning lady folded them and put them back!! ! To numerous requests to change - the answer is "But they didn't give me clean ones. Go yourself, figure it out". The cleaners there were generally the main people, I don’t know if they are all like that, or only our compartment was lucky (numbers 130-150). They are some Bulgarians, apparently, they know Russian. They came to work at 7-30 - 8 in the morning and immediately began to shout to each other from different ends of the corridor, rattle their buckets, talk loudly on the phone under the doors of the rooms. On the day of our arrival, it’s generally flying away: we unpack our things, change clothes (all in underwear), she fills up the room: “I want to see who lives in MY rooms”!! ! Is this a free striptease? cleaning show? God forbid it was to linger in the room when it was cleaning time (although what she was cleaning there - the sand was lying on the floor, it remained there) to linger in the room - every 5 minutes she burst in (without knocking and apologies) demanding to be released already, finally, the room. And somewhere in the middle of the holiday, we were given questionnaires for requests and wishes - all this was carefully written in English and handed over to the reception. Do you think anything has changed? So, people, good advice to you - look for something better, do not repeat our mistake. . .

we are from Kyiv, ukraine, rested in greece for the first time - 2 adults and a child 6 years old. I'll start from the very beginning. We were brought to the hotel in the evening, at the reception they immediately offered to go for dinner. First impressions did not please us, but rather it was from fatigue. we got our room (by the way, the one that ordered, with a sea view). The room is quite spacious, there is a separate bed for a child. In the morning we went for breakfast - the usual, without any bells and whistles, well, in general, like breakfast. Dinner made me happy. But after 2 days the food became much better - breakfasts remained the same, but lunches and dinners became more varied - seafood every day, meat snacks for every taste (rabbit, pork, turkey, lamb, chicken) Large selection of pasta, t. because there are a lot of Italians in the hotel, but more on that later. The variety of olive oil was simply amazing, as well as cheeses. Drinks for every taste, starting with water and ending with national vodka-uzy. The bar also made pizza, ice cream and snacks all day. as for animation: it was divided into 2 camps: Italian and German-Polish-Russian-English-generally hodgepodge. Italians predominate in the hotel, although when we left many Russians stopped by. as for excursions. We took one from the guide on about. Simi. The cost is 45 euros per person. and then only because it was necessary to swim. But then we rented a car at the hotel (Marathon company), they are cheaper (3 days - 100 euros) and plus a full franchise, which the guide does not have. We traveled the whole island, visited all the excursions ourselves, it was wonderful, the roads were especially impressive, we would have such! And more information for women! Fur coats! We visited all the shops on the island. They even took a free transfer to the Georgia store - just awful: the choice is poor, the service is bad, not to say worse and the prices are outrageous. But we found the "Karre" store, 3 km before reaching Rhodes, the owner of the Georgians (name is Odysseus). They have 2 halls, the choice is the best and bargaining is appropriate. the staff is top notch. From our check-in at the hotel, 6 people bought fur coats from them. , including us and that's just who we knew, information about them was transmitted along the chain. Prices - 4600 white mink with a lynx) were taken for 2300.2700 (Canadian mink, brown) were taken for 1500. The quality is excellent. The main thing is to bargain. and besides, if you try the local cuisine, you won’t lose, take moussaka. have a nice holiday!

I have never written reviews before, but this time I can not ignore such a hotel and without warning people who are going to go there. This hotel does not meet its opposition 5 stars at all - it's a 4-ka with a big stretch. Accommodation in rooms for us and, in principle, for all newly arrived Russian speakers (hereinafter referred to as "Russians") did not correspond to previously booked rooms in this hotel. Instead of a room with a sea view, we were given a room with a view of the doors of the neighboring building and a view of almost the roadway of the street of this village. On the second day of our attempts to change the room, this happened, but that room had its own nuances. Help from the host Greek tour operator "Milennium Travel" was not observed at all. The representative of this tour operator Agnyan, in general, we have never been observed at the hotel - such an impression that her task was only to sell excursions - and that's it! And then you could find her by calling her on a mobile phone if you book an excursion. Strangers from representatives of other tour operators, who could always be found in the hotel, provided us with all kinds of support and assistance. The hotel is focused on Italians, their animation is chic in a chic amphitheatre, the Russians have it in the "backyard" of the hotel (I'm talking about children's animation, I didn't see anything for adults at all) with Bulgarians who speak Russian poorly. In a "public" catering restaurant, if you did not come in the first rows, you will eat behind dirty tablecloths and call the waiter for a very long time, who, in general, will clean your table. I saw rooms in which Russians lived, where there were bunk beds - it was a room for two adults + a child. And this number was "underground" below the first floor. You go into the room and in a small dressing room of 6 meters there is immediately a bunk bed, and then it is followed by a small room of 10 meters, where there is a small "twing" bed and a small wardrobe and a table, in general, horror! Bars with plastic cups that constantly fell to the floor when the breeze was blowing, and there was no one to clean them (apparently they save on service staff) is a separate topic for conversation. In general, you can write a lot about this hotel. The main thing: do not believe your travel agencies, if they will oppose this hotel as a 5-ku, food-4 with a stretch, service-3, level-4 with a stretch, a purely Italian hotel, purely focused on Italians, they don’t put Russians in anything. Despite the negative impressions about the hotel, holidays in Greece are PERFECT! This is a magnificent, wonderful country that leaves many positive impressions and emotions. We had a wonderful rest and received a charge of positive emotions from our stay on this holy land. I wish everyone to approach the choice of a hotel well and correctly, so that later unpleasant impressions do not overshadow and do not cross your vacation.

Costa Lindia Beach Resort 4* (Costa Lindia Beach Resort 5* for Ukraine)
First, This hotel is 4*! Yes, yes, not 5 *, but 4 *! And this is indicated in their brochure in the rooms! There are even pictures.
Secondly, the hotel is focused exclusively on Italians, while others (Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians . . ) are not put in anything, even the bracelets are different. It comes to the point that Russian-speaking children are simply brazenly kicked out of the playgrounds, courts and the football field, saying that this is only for Italians, not for us. There were big conflicts, we filmed it - terribly humiliating!
Settlement: For a long time, randomly and no one showed where the room was - they were looking for 30 minutes.
Room: Good, though with 2 + 2 accommodation, two heels on a folding sofa 175 cm, and everything else is fine.
Territory: Small, but cozy, pretty confused, only one toilet and that was found only on the 4th day. And most importantly!! ! ONLY STEPS!! ! If you are traveling with a small one in a stroller, then the rest will turn into an obstacle course! Not a single congress! And the stroller and the child will be in your arms!
Food: Nothing to eat!! ! TERRIBLE!! ! Maximum 2*! All drinks are powder type UPI with a terrible cheap taste. Alcohol is better not to try! From fruit apples, small oranges, for 2 weeks 4 times kiwi, 2 times watermelon and 1 time melon. There is no children's kitchen and close! There is not even a microwave to warm milk for the kids! Bottle warmers are just a publicity stunt.
There is constant dirt near the bars: After lunch, the four of us drank tea, came to dinner, and our empty cups are still in the same place, by the way, the promise in the bars is disposable cups, and they think that this is the level of 5 *!?
Room service is bad, until you bark shampoo, they don’t bring it, but they also steal (Albanians cleaned our room and some things disappeared).
AND THE SEA IS EXCELLENT!!!
The beach is good too.
The island itself is beautiful, it is worth taking a tour or taking a car.
Special thanks to our guide, Athena. She is great. And she smoothed out all the bumps, and helped, and recommended... Clever.
