The rest was excellent, settled in a beautiful room with an incredibly beautiful view. The staff at all stages of communication from the reception to the waiters are sooo nice, especially to children.
Clean, room cleaned, bath towels changed. The food was delicious : )
Thanks: )
Transfer from the airport - 30 minutes with a short check-in at one hotel.
At the reception we were greeted with Greek drinks and treats! It was unexpected and very pleasant, immediately plunged into the flavor!
While we were eating and tasting, the keys were being prepared for us. We settled in almost immediately. Room in the main building on the second floor in a nice room, which was subsequently cleaned every day. TV is old, everything else is great. Cosmetics in the bathroom, mini bar with drinks (Pepsi, Fanta, soda, water), in general, everything for comfort.
I liked the hotel, the territory is small, there is a swimming pool with a slide, access to the beach directly from the hotel. The beach is gorgeous!
We spent some time at the hotel, mostly had breakfast, sunbathed a little, and then left and drove around the island until dinner.
Both breakfasts and dinners are good, with a decent choice, cooked deliciously. For dinner, we booked in the Greek and Mexican restaurants, we liked both. Good service, treated like family.
All the staff at the hotel as a whole made a very good impression, everyone is trying, very hospitable people!
Near the hotel is the city of Faliraki, where you can buy everything, or almost everything, good pubs and bars work in the evening, young people flock, you can smoke a hookah, sing karaoke.
In the old town, some shops and cafes were just opening after hibernation, but in Faliraki everything was already working!
The rooms are not big, but everything is there, cleaned daily, Greek soap and foam daily.
We took a car for 3 days right there at the hotel, three days cheaper, even than on the street. True, the lady who sells them - Karina is very unfriendly, will answer questions with irritation, not friendly. In general, the staff is very friendly and in the restaurant and bars. Many from Ukraine, Russia, the Baltic States (students). I would like to mention Anya on ice cream, always like a bee, but friendly and smiling. Hotel guides Alena and Masha always helped, explained what-where-when, smarties. Faliraki is not a large village, like many in Rhodes, designed purely for tourists, everything is quite expensive, but souvenirs can be bought as a keepsake. Were in Rhodes (the capital) - you must definitely visit a huge fortress and port, in Lindos - a beautiful bay in the shape of a heart and a fortress, in Monolithos the ruins of an old fortress, in Prasonisi, where the two seas (Mediterranean and Aegean) merge, in the church of St. Panteilemon where His relics are, in the Butterfly Valley, at seven springs. In general, everything was great. I am already dreaming about my next visit to Rhodes, there is still a lot of unknown.
Maybe my review will not seem quite adequate, thanks to my love for the hotel, do not judge strictly. It seems to me that it is simply impossible not to like it here.
I'll tell you about my last vacation there last year.
We ordered a car via the Internet for the whole week, took the keys at the airport, signed papers and drove along the well-known road from the airport. The road took 20 minutes (we stopped to refuel), we arrived at the hotel first, the keys had to wait about an hour. Went just for breakfast, because. bracelets put on immediately. The breakfast was varied as usual. Usually they put out all kinds of eggs (boiled, poached) + there is a cook who fries scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs, beans, fried bacon, chicken and pork sausages, bread, toast, butter, some kind of pastes like hummus, various tortillas with fillings, milk of several types (fat-free, gluten-free and regular), muesli also of several types and pastries (various buns) + juices, water. Juices there are not fresh, but not diluted either. Good packaged juices. You can’t list everything, I remember that all the tables were always full of goodies for lunch, breakfast and dinner. They always came to the restaurant in anticipation of something new and tasty, and they never left disappointed. And for lunch and dinner there was always a lot of very different meat, all this in herbs, there is always dzadzyki, all with garlic, you will lick your fingers! Delicious meat cooked in front of you! They also make gyros! From drinks in the restaurant I tried beer, wine and water. I don’t like beer at all, but at least it doesn’t taste disgusting, but the wine is good. It was an ode to food))
We ordered a standard room, but they gave us some kind of not quite standard one, or with an improved layout. The room has a huge bed, a mirror on the entire wall, a dressing table with a stool and another area with a sofa and chairs. Well, some kind of huge balcony, which turned right around the corner. Due to the fact that we got such a number, friends came to us quite often for a cup of “tea” from duty free)
There was also a minibar refrigerator with beer, water and soda in the room, a hair dryer in the bathroom, but I prefer to dry my hair naturally at sea, so I didn’t even check its power.
The hotel area is not large at all, but everything you need is concentrated on it: a la carte restaurants (you need to sign up the day before), a pool, a slide, a bar, and a beach!
The beach at the hotel is sandy with a very soft entrance to the sea, with paid sun loungers and umbrellas. We have never paid for the beach, because. in front of the beach, on the territory of the hotel, in the shade of trees, there are many free sunbeds. Walk a hundred meters to the beach, it was not difficult for us.
I was surprised that when you walk along the beach to the right or left, pebbles and pebbles already appear, literally 200 meters from the hotel, and on the beach of the hotel the sand is fine - fine and the bottom of the sea is sandy.
The location of the hotel is another huge plus. Here, entertainment begins right “at the door”, as real skiers say. Right at the exit from the hotel is the village of Faliraki. Everything is here! McDonald's, live music bars, night clubs, cafes, taverns, shops, rock bars, karaoke, several strip clubs and bowling! And all this in a small village. There are also rent-a-cars and tattoo parlors and leg peeling with the help of small fish.
At the same time, in 2014, compared to 2013, there were much more vacationers with children in the hotel. Still, people probably need a beach like this.
You can take excursions in the hotel, the first year we took almost everything in the hotel. The second year already by car they drove friends to all places themselves. The island is simply wonderful, and returning to such a hotel is an even greater pleasure.
Many thanks to all the staff for the warm welcome! We will definitely come again!
Rested on Rhodes in MITSIS FALIRAKI BEACH me, wife, child 4 years old. June 1-12.2014 BENEFITS: The hotel looks good from the outside and inside. Convenient location, near the center of the village. Not big, but green area. The sandy beach is spoiled by cigarette butts and plastic glasses. If a little to the right of the hotel, there is a great entry into the sea. FAULTS: Poor food. Nightmare long line at the dining room. Irregular replenishment of the bar in the room. ON SERVICE the hotel is a dense three-ruble note. According to the description, the hotel is declared for couples with children, but the minus is that there are no clothes dryers on the balconies. The children's table in the dining room, in the dining room, leaves much to be desired, and the adult cooks were not spoiled. I was shocked by the long queue of 30 people for meager food. Moreover, having defended it, you run into empty trays. Either they don’t have time to cook, or to bring it. Dishes with stains and chipped edges. As a law-abiding tourist, for the first 3-4 days he visited the so-called restaurant, in the evening, in accordance with internal rules, in trousers. After a few days of use, my pants were in disrepair and needed to be washed. I decided to go to dinner in long shorts. At the entrance, a formidable aunt pointed to my shorts, saying sport, and did not let me in for dinner. The wife went to the reception to the guides to explain the situation. We are very “thankful” to them Didenko Elena and Smirnova Daria. Without entering our position, foaming at the mouth, they began to teach us the rules of etiquette and behavior in the restaurant. We would all understand if all men attended this establishment in accordance with the requirements. For other men, the rules of etiquette, for some reason, did not work. You could see short shorts, shorts with large white daisies, pensioners dressed in trousers and slippers on their bare feet with crooked, curved brown fungal nails, German women in shorts with wrinkled, saggy skin on their legs like an elephant. I wanted to puke from what I saw, but this is etiquette, everything is “inclusive”. Left without dinner, of course, there could be no question of any compensation. While enticing us on the tour, our guides didn't even tell us that the child was coming with a 50 percent discount. Therefore, we turned to the APOLOL RENT A CAR agency, which is located next to the hotel, a hundred meters away. The owner is Vasilis. We booked a tour for 5 people. The whole day they drove wherever we asked, told, showed, and much cheaper than offered at the hotel. They were very satisfied. In this regard, hotel hydras frightened with all sorts of horror stories, just not to miss customers. When we left, we ordered an early breakfast the day before. At 5 am everything was closed, although the day was paid, many thanks to them. Compared to last year in Halkidiki on Kassandra in the ELINOTEL from the LABYRINTH, the guides in Rhodes do not talk about anything, either they sit constantly in the dining room or go to cafes for half a day (seen in person). And so Rhodes is a beautiful island, but it can only be in another hotel.
A very big plus of this hotel is a beautiful beach, warm shallow calm sea (despite the constant breeze), therefore.
We lived in a room with a side sea view, the windows overlooked the entrance to the hotel, so the animation did not bother us, but with the balcony open, the sounds of passing transport and Faliraki night discos were heard, so the balcony was closed and cooled by air conditioning. In general, without air conditioning in the room it was very stuffy, the open window did not help much.
In general, the hotel left only positive emotions. The island itself was not particularly impressive, of the proposed excursions you can visit only Rhodes and Lindos (you can do this by renting a car or bus, since the excursions are very expensive).
