We traveled together with a friend, chose another hotel, but did not get places, I had to take what was left.... Hotel certainly shocked. . To be honest, it cannot be called a hotel at all - an ordinary village house (like a private sector in the Russian south in which rooms are rented) The only thing that distinguished it from our south was two pretty pools right by the balcony and a beautiful view of the sea! The room is generally ordinary (we are not pretentious at all) but the toilet - shower - it's something!!! ! I didn’t even think that such sanitary ware exists abroad!! ! (Russia in the 70s, a communal apartment! ) A toilet bowl and a sink and a shower from which water pours onto the toilet bowl are cut down with an ax !! ! And the soundproofing.... sorry for the details - you fart, you can hear it in a nearby hotel! And laughter and sin! No service - they cleaned the room once, breakfast is sooooo poor! Cheese-sausage for a little bit - - whoever managed first, took the rest in flight, they really don’t like to report! . ! And they also put a bowl with homemade plum jam - although it was comforting, it was delicious, but donuts every 3 days. But after 3 days they ate that jam, so the owners put sour jam - just carbonated! Then we bought our own - cheese-sausage-yogurt-buns and ate, only drank coffee! They don’t speak Russian at all! (Or they pretend to be faster! Cunning eyes! ) T. They do not lead a normal life - they call guests, relatives, they drink, sing, dance - the guests are on their own. . . RESULT: if you need a hotel just to spend the night, it will be enough, considering the price. We left early in the morning and arrived late. Rented a car. But if you live there - you will die of boredom - the village is deaf, even during the day there is nothing to do, there are no cafes to take a walk (and what there are - tasteless, disgustingly expensive! ) In the evening, darkness is all around! One store, to which it is decent to stomp! towards Rethymnon, to the next village or Rethymno itself - life is in full swing there! At every step there are barkers, the competition is huge, therefore it is inexpensive and very tasty - for every taste-wallet! The only plus of the hotel is the cleanest sea - in front of the hotel there are stones and hedgehogs, and a little to the left, the sand in the water is awesome! But the sea in Greece is gorgeous everywhere - perfectly clean !! ! In general, next time, of course, we won’t go there! In general, ideally, rent a car (you can immediately from home via the Internet), and choose a hotel on the spot, you can generally move around around the island and changing hotels - it's even more interesting! In general, Crete is full of beauty and even a similar hotel does not spoil the picture! This is an unforgettable vacation !!! ! ! !
