The hotel itself is huge and very beautiful. They gave us the number right away. It was not very big, but quite comfortable. There was also a full bar on arrival. On the territory there are several pools with sea water, very, by the way, when there are waves on the sea. As for the beach itself, it is sand and pebble. There are several places where a chic entrance to the sea. Umbrellas and sun loungers for guests of Mouzenidis Travel are absolutely free, while at the same time for other guests on the territory of the beach itself they are paid. This service made us very happy. In general, we would like to note the organized work of all the hotel staff. Very welcoming and friendly. Keep it up!

We saw half of the island while we were driving and learned a lot of new things. We flew in June. A very beautiful island. Everything is blooming, everything is sunny. The sea is already warm. I remember my holidays with pleasure. Prior to that, rested only in Rhodes in Greece. Each island has its own beauty. There were only positive impressions about the hotel. sandy beach. We were a little worried that the sea would be cold, but we were lucky, the temperature was 21 degrees, despite the fact that it was the end of May. Upon check-in, the hotel presented a certificate for a free massage. It was very nice, but at first we did not figure out where to go. The hotel guide at the meeting already told us that massages are done on the beach. Doubly enjoyed. I would like to write a lot about food in the restaurant and express special gratitude to the chefs. For 2 weeks we tried everything that is possible. Every day something new, themed evenings. Nearby is Creta Star. In the evenings we went to the animation. During the day you can play tennis and billiards. In general, we could not sit in the hotel for a long time, a week later we went on an excursion to Chania - the Botanical Garden, to unwind a little. What beautiful, picturesque places! Everything is in bloom, orange and olive plantations around! We have never regretted that we have chosen a holiday in Crete! So, who doubts the choice, I can advise one thing, choose Creta Royal, and be sure to go to the mountains!

We arrived at the hotel around 11 am. Check-in had to wait a little, because our room was not ready. But we did not wait long - we only had time to drink a cup of coffee at the bar. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Room cleaning - every day. Bed linen is changed every 2 days, but towels are changed only once a week. I just didn’t figure it out right away (didn’t see the sign) that if you need to change the towel, then you just need to throw it on the floor in the bathroom. The room has air conditioning, TV, refrigerator and hairdryer. Only the hair dryer was an old model, and the hair had to be dried with hot air. So, if this moment is important for someone, then take your hair dryer. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Any request was responded to immediately. The hotel staff work hard to create an atmosphere of complete tranquility and tranquility. . The beach is amazing. Located right next to the hotel. Clean sandy beach, crystal clear water: the bottom can be seen in the smallest detail, right down to the fish that swim near the bottom. You can sunbathe both on the beach itself and on the green lawn next to it or near the pool (a pool with sea water, which is also very pleased, because I don’t like bleach). We had no problems with sunbeds. The territory of the hotel is beautiful, well-groomed and a lot of greenery and everything is in bloom. There are many taverns near the hotel. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to them. Most of all I liked two taverns (located next to each other): Pasithea and Ilios. There you can taste both European and national (Greek) cuisine. Pasithea is considered the best tavern, so there are always more people there. But, in our opinion, in Ilios the prices are lower, but the food is just as tasty. Food at the hotel is a different story! Huge selection of dishes, everything is insanely delicious, every day something new and interesting. There is always fresh juice in the morning. So in terms of food, there is absolutely nothing to complain about - the hotel fully justifies its 5 *. The hotel is quite quiet and calm: there are no noisy evenings, no animation. It has its own soulful atmosphere. Great place to relax in peace and quiet. If you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle, then this is the place for you.

However, we (2 adults with a six-year-old child) got a room with a side sea view. the hotel is buried in the shade of palm trees and other fairly tall trees unknown to us, reminiscent of pines and spruces, with which it is fenced off from the mountains. Moreover, the mountains are at a very respectful distance from the hotel. But the sea is practically at his feet. By the way, the architecture of the hotel consists of several 2-storey bungalows, the farthest bungalow is located no more than 150 meters from the sea. We lived in the farthest bungalow. Of the minuses, it can be noted that a rather noisy road passed behind the fence near our bungalow, but it was completely inaudible in the rooms, because. windows face the opposite side of the road. Vacationers from Yekaterinburg, whom we met shortly before our departure, were still not satisfied and they were moved to another bungalow without any problems and some additional payments. Another, in my opinion, minus is a fairly decent distance of the hotel from Heraklion airport (75 km), with a stop at other hotels, the road from the airport takes about 2 hours.
Now about the pros - we had a very spacious (30 meters) room with beautiful classic furnishings, a bathroom with a hairdryer and an excellent large (12-15 meters) balcony. Everything in the room is thought out to the smallest detail - there is a TV with one Russian channel, a telephone, a safe, very comfortable beds, there is a small refrigerator, which helped us a lot, on the balcony, in addition to a table and chairs made of natural wood, there are special hangers for drying bathing accessories. there was a pen with a branded notepad on the bedside table. In the closet we found a set of snow-white terry dressing gowns and slippers, carefully prepared for us. but at the reception you can sit in wonderful soft chairs on the Internet at least around the clock. After the first dinner, a fruit basket and a bottle of red wine were delivered to our room (I liked it), and a day later, a bottle of mineral water was brought to the room for free, without our order. Every day in our absence, the room was carefully cleaned. The room has central air conditioning. The hotel staff was very friendly. This is especially noticeable in the restaurant. The food organized in it was varied and tasty, and Turkey (last year we rested near Kemer in the 5-star Amara Club Marina hotel) cannot be compared with the Greek variety and sophisticated table decoration. In general, it was felt that the restaurant is, if I may say so, the "horse" of this hotel! There are two small pools with sea water on the territory, our child practically did not get out of them, only occasionally, under our pressure, went with us to the sea to look for shells. He did not achieve success in this matter, because. there are no shells, no fish in the Cretan Sea. But when there was a storm, the tide caught up with heaps of algae. As soon as the sea calmed down, it was not clear where all the algae disappeared? The sea became clear and very warm.
Another plus I would include - the practical absence of our compatriots (except for the aforementioned Yekaterinburgers, there was not a single Russian person), mostly Germans 40-50 years old, British, Slovaks or Poles rested. So my 6-year-old and I practiced our knowledge of the English language. But even without this knowledge, benevolent Greeks will not bypass you with their attention.
Unfortunately, on the 3rd day I managed to get sick: at night, t rose to 39 degrees and the intestines were upset. After hesitating, in the morning I decided to call a doctor through the representative of our tour operator "Mouzenidis Travel". Almost half an hour later, a young Greek therapist came to me, brought medicines and gave me an injection. In general, the help was provided very quickly and efficiently, without any delays and problems, for which I am very grateful to both him and our curator Olga. The next day I recovered.
Next to our hotel is a hotel of the same Aegean Star system called Greta Star. On its territory there is a miniclub for children, a small playground, minigolf, a basketball court, and a disco on the street. All these recreational activities are so well located that no noises ever reached our Greta Royal hotel.
On the sea beach there is a tavern with very friendly staff and if you have paid for the rest on the HB system (half board), then without leaving the hotel you can dine in the tavern.
In general, the hotel is wonderful, I even recommend it, even if something does not suit you, the staff will try to please you anyway!
