We were at the beginning of June with the family, we liked everything, clean, beautiful, the presence of an adjacent park is especially good (it’s good to sunbathe under the trees for the first days) and then too - from the park to the sea 30 meters - lay down - went for a swim and again... : -)
Excursions are expensive at TEZ-tour, and uninformative as it seemed to me.
They sailed on a ship in Rethymnon - an average pleasure, the Callipso boat - the engine yells so that "mom don't cry", it can sail on another and quieter, more comfortable sail.
The tavern next to the hotel is very personal. Quite cheap and also in the shade of olive trees.
There were few people - especially in the early days, on weekends a crowd of locals arrives and the beach fills up.
Umbrellas on the beach for 6 euros, but we took only a couple of times - the park was enough for relaxation.
