But in Galini - I really liked it! They took a sea plate (squid, mussels, octopuses, three types of fish). The portion is huge. + to this 2 Greek salads + 0.5 white wine and all this pleasure cost only 25 euros. Charming hostess Dina, husband cooks, son helps. Well done! Everything is clean and tidy, and very tasty!
The maids at the hotel left a tip for cleaning - do not take. We brought Russian chocolate with us. Here it was taken with great pleasure. : -). Cleaned qualitatively, changed towels and linen almost every day.
The sea is magnificent and very close, fine sand, sunbeds are paid.
The water was clean and invigorating, warming up well only by the end of May. But we liked it.

The transfer to the village was wonderful, but, however, we did not hear anything about the history of the village, about the wonderful, very beautiful church that is located there, about the customs of the locals. Absolutely nothing informative. Played only pleasant music and drove almost silently.
On the spot we were brought to a huge hall with tables and a "stage". The "performance" began - 2 men and 2 girls came out. No costumes, the level of amateur art in the village, they danced 2 or 3 dances... then there was a killer scene "how a man returned home after meeting with friends"...
To put it bluntly - mediocre and stupid.
I’ll write in a separate line: the food was disgusting, and the wine was terrible, cloudy, with an unpleasant smell... Although Larisa claimed that this was young Greek wine... Horror.
After my statements, crayfish were brought to me. I take it it was only for the picky type of me. The rest were content with what they gave.

People often sunbathed there after swimming (the distance to the beach is 50 meters). There is a rather big swimming pool for adults and a "paddling pool" for children, and the water is constantly flowing and therefore does not bloom and does not stink, there are many sun loungers with umbrellas near it, everything is free. We swam mainly in the sea - the water is very clean, the beach is sandy, the sand is grayish-reddish and coarse. By the way, all the beaches in Crete are municipal, so there is always enough free space, you can take 2 sun loungers with an umbrella for the whole day from 3 to 5 euros (bargain). But we went after swimming in the park at the hotel. The size of the beach in our area is 50-70 meters and the width is up to 10-15 m, but in Bali there are 4 beaches, as if small bays are combined into one large one, therefore, in general, the beach stretches for 2-2.5 km, interrupted by rocks overlooking the sea and around the mountains. The landscape is impressive.
They ate according to the HB system. The hotel restaurant has both indoor and outdoor areas. There were always enough free seats, there were no queues. The rooms are mostly 2-bed, small, but cozy and clean, linen changed every 3 days, cleaning daily.
The hotel is a solid 5 in all respects. True, there is no animation. But my wife and I were looking for a cozy and quiet hotel. For those who want to have fun, there are a lot of taverns nearby with live music and parties, in the village there is a daily disco for young people. The hotel staff communicates tolerably in Russian and English, German. There were a considerable number of Germans, Czechs, British and Balts. We left euros for the cleaning lady, but probably not necessarily. There is shampoo, soap (I took my own, because the hotel would not be enough for me, they do not change every day). We were in Crete on a honeymoon trip, we chose this hotel because we liked that it is a quiet family vacation, there are no animators and discos under the windows, thank God. The place is very picturesque in small mountains, bays with beaches and fine sand, the water is clean and transparent.
