Aphrodite has become such a hotel for me! I don’t know who and why called it that, but I also felt like Aphrodite near the cleanest pool on new sun loungers, under new umbrellas overlooking the Platamonas fortress and Mount Olympus!
Clean air with the smell of herbs, blooming bright flowers on the territory of the hotel. The singing of birds and crickets from dawn to dusk. Walking on soft and cool lawns in the heat is bliss. Lawns, as well as trees and flowers under the close attention of the owner of the hotel. Thanks to the family that was able to unite and rally good people around them and give mood to tourists. The ITravel travel agency has been friends with the hotel for several years, thank you for recommending me for 14 days of rest, which flew by for me like a moment!
Special thanks to the hostess, who kept order in the rooms and delighted us every day with fresh snow-white towels and linen, wet cleaning, which never bothered vacationers. I was struck by the fact that tourists from European countries constantly arrived and the owners of the hotel met with each one not for the first time. If people return to the hotel, then they were comfortable here. I met a family from Hungary, their daughter said that they have been coming to this hotel since her childhood (she has now arrived with her boyfriend). Thanks to the owner of the hotel for organizing a party for our group and for teaching Greek dances!
I will return to my beloved Aegean Sea, temperate climate and to this hotel, which gave me a lot of pleasant emotions.

I want to share my impressions about the rest. Every year I try to go abroad to the sea, and even 2 times a year. Therefore, I choose economical hotels near the sea. This time I chose the Afroditi hotel in the Pieria region in the village of Panteleimon. Tiny 2 star hotel with beautiful views around. Imagine a hotel standing on a flat green area surrounded by mountains! There is a territory in the hotel, but a small one, the pool - swim in the pool and admire the view of Olympus! This is a family hotel and the owners themselves work there.

The name of the owner's daughter is Aphrodite, and he himself met us so well - he treated us to local tsipouro vodka and homemade pastries, pastries are prepared by his wife. I was also surprised by the drinks - instead of the standard yuppies, they cooked real compotes! This is necessary for a 2-star hotel to have natural home-cooked food !! ! The owner himself arranged a Greek evening for our guests - and he himself performed too - how beautifully he sang and danced sirtaki! About the rooms - small, but decent - clean, there is a refrigerator, wardrobe, TV. Picked up every day. The village has many shops, eateries and taverns. And about 5 minutes along the country path to the beach, the beach is wide, sand with small pebbles. Who acts on the same principle as me, go to rest in Aphrodite!
