Stayed for the 2nd time and plan to in the future. The hotel is managed by the owner himself, because of this, at the reception they are willing to meet halfway in everyday matters (early check-in - when there are rooms, an iron, suggest something) - they are very hospitable. An excellent beach nearby - a bay, with a view, pebbles (sunbeds for 3 euros).

An excellent beach nearby - a bay, with a view, pebbles (sunbeds for 3 euros).
Excellent restaurant overlooking the sea and the cape - average prices, large portions, excellent service (salads - 7+, mussels - 10, grilled octopus - 14 euros)
Breakfast and rooms are normal.
Excellent location - near the resort street with everything you need (taverns, bars, shops, car rental, excursions) at the end of the bus stop street - for example, together you can get to Paleokastritsa for 3.60 euros and 20 minutes, there is a road to the capital of the island ( 6km) and to all key attractions. (we didn't take the car - we used buses and taxis).
I got by with a handful of English words and a couple of Greek (hello, thank you), but one of the girls at the reception speaks some Russian too.
The contingent - the Dutch, French, Italians, Russians, Germans - a little bit of everyone, mostly older people, everything is quiet and cultured.
I advise those who want to see the island and feel its specifics, eat in taverns.
Excellent value for money.

Rested with my husband from 28.08 2012-12.09. 2012 , we chose a hotel for a very long time, location, food, what we are flying to about. There was not a minute of doubt in Corfu, first of all, I really wanted to visit the relics of St. Spyridon, which we did repeatedly in Corfu (which I myself am amazed, because many people say that the relics are not always opened, but we were just lucky, we visited every day and several times) were very satisfied, near the church there are shops that sell icons, handmade, very beautiful things, and at a price 3-4 times cheaper than in Moscow, secondly, I wanted a relaxing holiday (the sea is clean, but we basically rented a car right at the hotel, it’s better to ask the girl Ovsana at the reception, she speaks good Russian, and through tour operators it’s much more expensive, Phoenix served us (I’m not going to make any claims to girls working in " Phoenix", but by the way, you are there to help us tourists navigate the area, to suggest something where you can buy something cheaper, and not to get your benefit, it's a shame for our fellow citizens, although they look very nice girls.

The hotel is very clean, the water is really very warm in the sea, so we often went to the Adriatic (in Paleokastritsa), or to the town of Barbati. They fed us like a killer, we had breakfast (monotonous, but everything was enough for everyone) - lunch (menu of choice), there is no dinner in this hotel, but we went to the Filippas restaurant for a couple of days, they cook very tasty, for which we only we went to dinner, because after such a dinner as we were fed, we couldn’t have dinner (we didn’t fit), at our hotel immediately upon arrival they issued a card for a 10% discount, this applied to sunbeds, dinner at the restaurant at the hotel and at the Filipas restaurant, so , that you can use it, only before you order you need to immediately present a discount, very tasty homemade wines, well, about Metaxu cognac - from 11 euros to 23 euros, I generally keep quiet, all this can be purchased at the supermarket, honey, wine for 2 euros, olive oil. You don’t have to spend money on excursions, you can go to Achelion yourself, if you rent a car, it will be even cheaper, we paid 65 euros / 1 person. , but then of course they regretted it, they could have gone on their own.....The only thing, of course, was very much praised for the excursion to the Meteorites, fish barbecue, but all this can be taken through agents on the street or again through the reception. But in general, my husband and I really liked it, the sea, the atmosphere, the very hospitable Greek people, I fell in love with this island, we are going to visit again this year. . . And you don’t need 5 *, 3 * -4 * is enough, the main thing is that it is not very far from the capital of Kerkyra, 20-25 km, it is very beautiful in the evening.......
