STOP - near the supermarket, anyone will show. Travel to the center of Kerkyra (the final stop of the blue bus) - 1.5 euros.
I advise you to walk in the morning to the village of Kontokali (the first from Kerkyra, Gouvia the second). Beach 5 stars of the Kontokali Bay hotel - white sand, clear sea, 2 sunbeds and an umbrella - 5 euros. You need to get off immediately after breakfast in the direction of the blue bus to Kerkyra, about 40 minutes, turn left as soon as the Aladdin store ends on the opposite side of the road.
On the left side, as you turn, you will see a cafe (I recommend having lunch there and waiting out the heat). Moving forward you run into Kontokali Bay hotel. Feel free to go through its territory directly to the sea. You can sunbathe on their beach on a towel or by paying 10 euros, but if (facing the sea) you go to the left, you will find 2 municipal beaches. There are 5 euro sunbeds and an umbrella. We rested there. You can take the bus back to the stop again, the landmark Diellas supermarket, the cost is 1.10 euros.
EXCURSIONS - I do not advise a sightseeing tour of the city. You can walk around and see for yourself. The small town. I advise the temple of Spyridon Trimifuntsky - Orthodox and the temple of the Holy Queen Theodora (in 3 buildings from Spyridon). In the Church of St. Spyridon there is a caretaker - Christos (emphasis on "and"). Communicating with him, you understand how we are all one, Orthodox peoples + We are one.

Despite the fact that the hotel has two floors, there is an elevator, so you didn't have to carry your bags up the stairs. The room is small, but cozy, single. The furniture, of course, is not new, but nothing critical was noticed). The mattresses were very comfortable - did not even expect. The bathroom is small, and of course again in the shower this notorious tray, from which water pours onto the floor! It seems to me that almost all economical hotels in Greece have such a system - you can't get anywhere! There is nothing superfluous in the room, only the essentials. Cleaning was done every day, after there was not a single speck of dust left. Towels and linen were changed every 3 days. The balcony in the room is huge, there are good partitions between neighboring balconies (neighbors are not visible and almost inaudible), there is a table and a couple of chairs. The windows face the sunny side, so it's a pleasure to wake up! Now about food, I only took breakfast (buffet), and I had lunch and dinner for money. When you dine for money, the choice of dishes is greater. I liked how the pork ribs were cooked, it is incredibly tasty. Try it! There were fish dishes on the menu, but their choice is boring. The hotel area is small but well maintained. The hotel does not have a pool, but it is not needed, because the beach is 50 meters from the hotel. The beach is clean, sandy, sometimes there are pebbles. The beach itself is located in a quiet cove, which also gives its advantages - there are no waves here. It is also possible to visit neighboring beaches. I liked Dassia beach, beautiful and clean. Excursions took only a survey of the island and went to the church of St. Spyridon. Feelings are incredible, and in itself it is beautiful. I advise everyone to visit her. So, in principle, I am satisfied with the rest. I can say about the hotel that, of course, you can find flaws and small jambs, but for the money that it costs, I think it is a very worthy option!

Dassia Beach is a great place to relax and there are a couple of taverns nearby so if you get hungry you can grab a bite to eat. Near the hotel there is a parking of boats, you can go and arrange to drive around the island, see interesting places. We went on a boat around the island, it is beautiful from all sides. We went to the Church of St. Spyridon - a beautiful place, worth the time spent there. So they were simply delighted with the island, and the hotel in general did not disappoint. In principle, we got what we expected - no more, no less, for an inexpensive vacation this is a great option.

There is a stop next to the hotel, we went to neighboring beaches and to the city, you can perfectly see the sights without a guide, the main thing is to buy a map of the island and the city, or at least a guide with a map. We thought about taking a car, but then we decided that it was not advisable, rent here is from 50 euros per day, and buses cost 1.5 euros a ticket and run regularly, so we had a good rest and looked at the island without a rented car. We went on the BB system, the hotel is well located, in the village of Gouvia there are taverns and cafes, markets, prices in Greek taverns are very affordable, and the food is delicious and the portions are large, just a paradise for a tourist.
