The hotel was chosen according to the criteria of proximity to the sea, public transport stops, I wanted a quiet place and not an expensive hotel. The choice was stopped at the Triton 2 * hotel.
We liked absolutely everything! Firstly, the hotel is located across the road from the sea, it takes about 2 minutes to walk to the beach, the bus stop is also next to the hotel. Secondly, despite the fact that the hotel is 2 *, it is very comfortable, clean, the owners are always friendly and ready to help. The territory of the hotel is small, but very well-groomed and beautiful, there is a small swimming pool. Near the hotel there are many shops, taverns, restaurants.
The rooms are small, but there is everything you need: a large bed, bedside tables, chairs, a mirror, a safe, a large closet. Safe, air conditioning and iron for an additional fee, a kettle can be requested at the reception.
We only included breakfast, the hotel has a buffet breakfast, there are various cereals, yogurt, cuts for sandwiches, drinks.
We liked that the hotel is in a very beautiful and quiet location, with a balcony overlooking the sea and mountains. Although the hotel is small, but very cozy, it was a pleasure to stay and spend time there!

When we arrived, we were very friendly welcomed by Kostas, the main manager of the hotel, the hotel guide Ekaterina helped with filling out the questionnaire. Since we arrived in the morning, around 10 o'clock, we had to wait a little while we were shown to the room, since the check-in at the hotel is at 12 o'clock. While waiting for the settlement, we walked around the city, had breakfast in a tavern by the sea. The room we got was nice, small, but bright and clean. We only had breakfast at the hotel, the choice is quite small, but everything is delicious and homemade. The hotel has a small swimming pool, the hotel is located on the beach, so the nearest beach is two minutes walk. The territory of the hotel deserves special attention! Everything is so well maintained and beautiful, we were just delighted. Often sat with her husband on the balcony and admired the local scenery. Near the hotel there are a huge number of taverns and restaurants for every taste and budget, many shops and souvenir shops, there is a bus stop next to the hotel, you can get to the nearest city of Hersonissos, Heraklion or the city of Agios Nikolas. We went to the capital of the island, the city of Heraklion, and also bought an excursion to the island of Spinalonga. I would like to express special gratitude to our guide Elina. She told so much interesting information that despite the duration of the tour, we were not tired at all and had a great time.

The value for money is obvious. Rested at the end of July with my grandson in this hotel. The hotel is quite small, the staff is a family of several people. Everyone was friendly and questions were resolved promptly. The atmosphere is homely. Peace and quiet. The territory is green, neat, the gardener was often noticed.

Breakfast is modest, but since it is 2 stars, very good. We had half board booked. Dinner was prepared by Christina, the wife of the owner of the hotel Kostas. Great food, very tasty! They always left full, the portions, as in any tavern in Greece, are huge.
Near the hotel there are supermarkets, restaurants, taverns, bars for every taste and budget. To the left of Triton is the traditional Pelagos tavern, where prices are the lowest.
The city beach is beautiful. White sand, in some places shallow water - a paradise for children.

The settlement went well. Of the shortcomings, the room had a very small shower, 60 by 60 cm, of course it was normal for me, but a large person simply would not fit there. Otherwise, based on the price of the hotel, the room was normal. The breakfasts were normal. Nice little hotel, good value for the money we paid for it.

The hotel is more like a private house, the owner is sane, the pool on the territory is very clean. The sea was opposite, because of this we chose this hotel. We had a very good girl - a representative of the tour operator, we did not buy excursions from her, but we rented a car through her for 3 days and she advised us very well. I can rate this hotel 9 out of 10!
