The worst part is that the hotel has wiring problems. When the voltage drops, electronic locks open. Our room has been opened several times. Both night and day. You come back and the door is not locked. Air conditioner has not been cleaned since construction. It's just flakes of dust hanging on it. And he's terribly horny too. I did not turn it on, but after a voltage drop, it turns on automatically. Refrigerator hums like a tractor, shield in the room too. In general, sleep is very problematic.
The hotel does not have a beach. Rather, that. what they call a beach is a strip of pebbles in the middle of the cobblestones. We went to Aphrodite, there is a sandy bay, with the children it is the most. The food is not very good. there is no first, there is no children's table. Pretty monotonous, but high quality. You won't leave hungry. In general, the result is that the hotel does not cause a desire to return. There are Russian-speaking staff. The animation is the same too. area is small. The hotel does not have a laundry service.
The hotel itself is small, with a cozy little area, there is a fresh water pool and a children's section. Everything is compact and harmoniously arranged. There is a bar near the pool, there are free sun loungers, a playground nearby.
It can be seen that the hotel has been updated, everything is new: furniture, interior. The room is also brand new, including bed linen and towels. Beautiful, simple and comfortable. We were satisfied, there are no complaints about cleaning either, the staff worked well and in a timely manner, the room was cleaned daily, bed linen was changed 2 times a week. Internet works well in the lobby near the reception.
The food at the hotel was very delicious. I just don't understand people who complained about the kitchen in the hotel in their reviews. There was both meat and fish, various side dishes, fresh fruits and vegetables, we ate plenty of vitamins. Breakfast, however, is monotonous, basically the same thing every day. Personally, we were satisfied with the cuisine.
The beach next to the hotel is pebbly, in some places there are stones, quite uncomfortable, sunbeds are paid. Therefore, we walked to the left, there is a sandy beach and a more convenient entry into the sea.
But since we took the car for a couple more days, we drove around the island, looked at the main sights, drove into the bays for swimming, there are wonderful beaches in Crete, even those that are wild and not equipped, with excellent beaches, soft sand.
Another disadvantage is that we had a late departure, and when checking out at 12:00, bracelets are cut off and lunch and dinner are not supposed to. But this is all trifle.
If we consider our holiday as a whole, then everything was very pleasant, and we were satisfied. Thanks for the rest.
It is located on the seashore, there are many supermarkets, shops nearby, there is a swimming pool, the food is delicious, the choice of food is not bad, so my husband and I liked this place.
The room is after renovation, there are no complaints about the interior. There was one problem: the TV did not work, but the technician quickly fixed this matter.
The hotel staff is nice, the organization is really on the level, so, in general, everything is fine.
We often went to the center of the village, there are many taverns and souvenir shops, so the suitcase was brought twice as hard.
We rested just fine, we went on excursions more than once, and Santorini did not want to let go at all. On the excursion "Unexplored Crete" I really liked the village where we dined and swam in the Libyan Sea.
We are very grateful for a pleasant stay and taking care of us.
We were looking for a quiet place by the sea, so that there were shops and sandy beaches nearby. We were advised Gouves Bay as a quiet family hotel. Yes, and according to our wishes, it exactly fit, so we booked a family room in it.
We arrived in the evening, we were immediately settled and sent for dinner. By the way, the cuisine there is excellent in an open-air restaurant.
The room was also impressive: it is clear that the hotel is after renovation. Everything is stylishly decorated, only the TV did not work, but they fixed it for us. The beach is close, shops nearby - a lot.
There is a gym, sauna, massage, billiards, animation, room service. There are no complaints about the hotel.
We went for a walk to Kherson and Heraklion on our own. But we went to Spinalonga with a tour. We really liked the program, especially in Agius Nicolaus - a very beautiful city. And when we were on a trip "Unexplored Crete", we bought a comboskini in a monastery, which is located on a sheer cliff. I read a lot about these bracelets and have long wanted to buy for myself, my husband and son. We also walked along Rethymno, sunbathed on the beach, were very pleased.
The holidays are over and I want to go back there again.
On behalf of our entire family, I express my gratitude to the employees at the hotel for a well-organized vacation! We will definitely be back!
I wanted a relaxing holiday, our travel agent suggested a hotel belonging to the Bomo chain, Couves Bay is located on the seashore, a really good hotel. There are many shops, supermarkets nearby. The food was delicious and there is a swimming pool on site. The room was standard, after renovation, the interior was no frills, we had no complaints. There was an acceptance, the air conditioning did not work, but everything was quickly fixed. The hotel staff is pleasant and smiling. We often went to the center of the village, it is full of taverns and souvenir shops, so the suitcase was brought 2 times heavier. We rested just fine, we went on excursions more than once, and Santorini was without words !! ! Wanted to stay!!
We also visited "unexplored Cyprus" and really liked the village where we dined and swam in the Libyan Sea.
We had a very good rest and are grateful to both the tour agent and the hotel for the attention shown to us.
