We rested at the end of July with friends on the island of Crete in the village of Agia Pelagia, in Thatania studios apartments. Probably, for us, young girls, nothing could be better: at an affordable price, but without food, well, this was not a problem for us at all. They ate in local taverns, they could cook something for themselves (there are all conditions for cooking: an electric stove, a refrigerator, dishes).

The apartments are spacious, there is also a TV, even one channel was in Russian, a clean room, bed linen and towels were always changed on time, the room was cleaned 3 times a week. Free Internet, but air conditioning and a safe, however, for an additional fee.
The owner is very kind, always caring. Apartment - 2-storey building, 3rd floor - this terrace. A cool open terrace overlooking the sea, in the evening we took wine at dinner, the atmosphere is amazing, silence, the sound of the waves, you can’t describe your emotions) We lived on the second floor with a beautiful view of the sea.
I would like to say that the location of the apartments is perfect, everything is nearby: the beach is generally 10 meters, taverns, shops along the promenade. Sunbeds and umbrellas, by the way, are paid, they do not belong to any hotels, if you want a sunbed, everyone pays. Well, you can do without it, as many did, a towel on the sand and fine. In the evening we walked around the village, calm and beautiful, and the bay itself was very picturesque.
In general, the girls and I were satisfied. As an excellent option for an economical vacation.

We would like to recommend the Eden tavern at the end of the beach. All taverns are good, but this one is the bomb! Very nice hosts, delicious food!
We had an excellent hotel guide, from whom we took a car for 2 days and planned our route with her. On the first day we went to Lake Kournas, swam in the lake and looked at the turtles. Then we went to Chania, a city you can't help but fall in love with! We ate in the center, took a walk, bought gifts for the family at the Agora market)))
The second day we spent on the eastern part of the island. In the morning we went to the beach of Vulisma, sunbathed, swam and went for a walk around Agios Nikolaos, and went to Elounda for dinner.
We have only the best memories of our holiday!

I would like to thank you for a great vacation! In the period from June 12 to June 19, my husband and I rested on the beautiful basis of Crete, which simply struck with its beauty! For our vacation, we chose the simplest mini-hotel Thania Studios. The location is just awesome! You leave the hotel and you are on the beach! What else can you dream of? By the way, the windows of our room overlooked the sea. And also a very beautiful view opens from the roof of the hotel, there is a terrace and the opportunity to have a barbecue. The village of Agia Pelagia is very quiet, just what we wanted! Nearby there are many shops and cafes. Since we took a ticket without food, we mostly ate in local taverns (we didn’t really want to cook on vacation). I can note the tavern "Edem". The service is excellent, the food is delicious, the prices are reasonable. I recommend everyone to visit there. Sun loungers on the beach are paid, something like 2 euros for a sun lounger and 2 euros for an umbrella, but we did not use them, we sunbathed on towels. You could often see our guide at the hotel, who was always interested in how our vacation was going, all issues were resolved quickly, which is a huge plus!
10 minutes away is the hotel Capsis from which there is a bus to Heraklion 3 times a day, which is also very convenient.
We rented a car from a guide for 2 days and saw the island a little. I advise everyone to see the city of Chania. He is just incredible! ! Next time we will go there to rest, not far from the city there is Marafi beach, we also managed to stop by there and relax a bit on the beach.
The next day we drove east to the city of Agios Nikolaos. Basically, a very nice city. There is a beautiful lake, it is one of the main attractions.
We enjoyed our vacation a lot!
