The hotel is comfortable, small, great staff. The room was as stated on the website, with a small terrace with a table. The food is good. Dinner and breakfast varied, there were fish, meat, vegetables, fruits. The beach is 10 minutes walk. There is good infrastructure around.

Poor location of the hotel, the condition of the rooms needs to be improved. I liked the food, the service was good. They settled us ahead of time, as best they could, tried. 15-20 minutes to the beach, down calmly, and up after the sea, tired by the sun, well, you understand, since we are young, it’s still normal for us, it will be difficult for older people.

On the island of Crete rested for the second time. And every time the impressions are great from the stay. The hotel was chosen in advance. We chose the average European statistical 3 *. It fully meets these requirements, without extra luxury, especially since we are not demanding on living conditions and hotel services, because we understood that Crete is not on the program - "all inclusive", and rent a car and travel to exotic places .

On the island of Crete rested for the second time. And every time the impressions are great from the stay. The hotel was chosen in advance. We chose the average European statistical 3 *. It fully meets these requirements, without extra luxury, especially since we are not demanding on living conditions and hotel services, because we understood that Crete is not on the program - "all inclusive", and rent a car and travel to exotic places . . If you are used to Egypt or Turkey on an all-inclusive basis, then you definitely have nothing to do here. The family-run Pelagia Bay Hotel is 900 meters from the sea and the beach. The hotel is for those who want peace and comfort. It is surrounded by olive groves and solitary farmhouses. In the morning, only the singing of nightingales and roosters disturbed the peace, and this is for the better, because it was time to wake up, tidy up, have breakfast and go on a road trip.
By the way, the hotel offers only breakfasts and parties. There are no TVs in the rooms. TV only in the bar next to the reception, and only Greek channels. Just great, as for me, because I rested from the zombie box. Classic European breakfasts. And from dinner just super. During the 11 nights of my stay here, the main course was never repeated. Everything is very tasty. And no wonder, because the hotel is small only about 30-35 rooms. The hotel was inhabited mainly by Germans, Belgians, British, several families were from Ukraine and Russia. The hotel is equipped with a very interesting pool in the form of a stomach (because such a relief), but has an interesting depth from 75 cm to 3 m. And it's all very smooth to move from one depth limit to another. For those who do not know how to swim, I still recommend to be careful and do not go beyond the depth indicators. Now let's talk about prices: People who did not have the HB tour program can dine at the hotel for 8 euros.
A small glass of Greek beer at the hotel costs 2.5 euros, dry wine up to 3 euros. As a rule, alcohol should not be taken at the hotel, because in stores you can buy beer for 85 euro cents, wine for 2-2.5 euros in glass bottles, and in European packages for 1.5 euros. You can have lunch at the tavern with seafood (fish, squid, shrimp, etc. ) for two for 16 euros and above with beer and for some dessert at the end of lunch Cretans serve you local grape moonshine-brandy (as usual we used to drink vodka during lunch or dinner), and for dessert jelly for free (already included in the final price). The price of gasoline ranges from 1.67 € to 1.73 euros per 1 liter. On the famous and popular beaches, car parking costs 2.0 euros, although in most cases, you can park your car for free. The beaches are clean and tidy, umbrellas and sunbeds pay 3-5 euros per day, but on some beaches - free.
The price of car rental in different companies varies and varies for minivans from 25 to 35 euros per day.
I recommend everyone to visit Crete, create your own mood and travel! ! ! ! !
