But we are unpretentious, we were not okirovany, and, having walked through the neighboring hotels, we were even glad that we got to Lambi. Pros. 1. Quiet. The hotel is on the outskirts of Amoudara, so there was no noise. Naturally, no animation, no discos, so we slept peacefully, despite the fact that the balcony overlooked the road. We slept with an open balcony (take mosquito repellent, they are there). 2. Friendly staff. Russian and other languages are not spoken. . some employees speak English-German, but not all. so stock up on phrasebooks. 3. The atmosphere is homely "at my grandmother's in the village. " I like it. But in general, a hotel for spending the night and nothing more. 4. Delicious food. Breakfast is like everywhere else. Not particularly reflected in the memory. Dinners - Greek cuisine. I liked the food is homemade. The products themselves are very tasty. BUT I warn you this is subjective, I just love Greek food. Even the onion in the Greek salad had some unusual taste. To the beach about 10 minutes across the road and garbage dumps))))) BUT the beach is not bad. Sunbeds-umbrellas for a fee, the entrance is sandy. But there is a strong wave, there are a lot of surfers. In the distance you can see some kind of industrial pipe. smoked. In general, after walking through the hotels, the conclusion is that it is better not to go there for those who are too pretentious. Four-stars there are also dumb. Saw mice in the area. The exception, perhaps, is Agapi Beach. In general, for a beach holiday it is better to look for something else. Heraklion is close, but there is not much to do there. Tours are not recommended. You can easily drive around the island by yourself in a rented car. BUT hotel guides are angry that they do not buy excursions and begin to ignore.
