Rested with a young man in the Happy Cretan apart hotel from July 9 to 18.2013. I can say that the hotel is simply excellent, the staff is very friendly, welcoming and patient. We know English at the level of textbooks, when we arrived on the 1st day it was very difficult to understand speech, but we still repeated everything and tried to clearly explain and explain. The rooms are good, clean, comfortable and large, cleaned as needed, each room has a terrace or a bacon is also a good size. As for the territory, it is very well-groomed and beautiful, the view, of course, is wonderful, because the hotel is on the mountain and the sea lies in your palm. In the main building on the 1st floor of the reception, the 2nd floor is a cafe, where in the morning breakfasts, a swimming pool (clean, they clean it several times a day) and a place for games (table tennis, badminton, etc. ), there is also a gazebo, the 3rd floor is a gym, the simulators are good, though some of them have run out of batteries, but especially no one goes there, it was always empty. As for the cuisine, I still remember with pleasure their breakfasts (especially a paradise for lovers of sweets), there was always water, juice, tea, coffee (cream optional), every morning there was an egg in some form and something meat to it is a side dish, fruit (watermelon and melon always), cereal and yogurt, buns (and their preparations are fresh and hot) and many homemade sweets. Many thanks to the chef and bartender for their masterpieces, they are masters of their craft, not conservatives, but improvisers, they always surprised us with their masterpieces and goodies. On the last day we met a Russian-speaking maid, so now the language barrier is not terrible for Russians. It’s really 1.5 km from the sea, the only negative is that you have to walk along the roadway, but everyone is used to it (drivers) and it doesn’t bother anyone, they try to go around as far as possible, the path took us 20-35 minutes to the sea and back to the hotel, who does not like to walk, there is a car rental on every corner. City beach - sun loungers and umbrellas are paid (2 euros for a sunbed, 2 euros for an umbrella, although money was not collected every day), because the beach is in a bay, the sea is calm, the waves did not torment us. Transfer - we went from Pegas upon arrival, after passport control, a Russian-speaking representative immediately stands, he tells you where to go, then they send you to the bus and actually take you to hotels, they tell you all the necessary information on the way and give books with information, the next day your guide and with him you can already agree on excursions and ask everything that interests you, before the day of departure, information about the return transfer, departure and flight is posted at the reception. In general, we really liked the rest, a lot of positive impressions, for which many thanks, of course, to all the hotel staff and Pegas employees.
