From the intersection of the main 4 roads of the village go 2-3 minutes. Thanks to this, you will be able to sleep peacefully at night, because in my opinion, hotels do not sleep in the main street. In the village itself there are many shops, cafes, restaurants, there are even McDonalds), many clubs, bars and rental points for cars and ATVs, which the lazy one does not drive here). The hotel offers a great view of the mountains and the owner's plantation). On the first day, it was somewhat embarrassing, but then they felt all the charm). For me, a view of greenery is better than a dusty street. In general, the territory is cozy, a lot of greenery, everything is clean.
2. The hotel is owned by a family that lives there and serves guests on their own.
Very friendly and pleasant Greeks, but they don’t speak Russian at all, so English rules). The owner takes at the reception, a very responsive man, always happy to help. His wife cooks and serves at the pool bar. The hotel only has breakfast, and late from 9-12. For other meals, you need to go to a nearby hotel (Triton), which is literally behind the fence). For breakfast, a choice is offered: eggs in the form of boiled or scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese. Everything is prepared in front of you - very tasty! Portions are big. Fresh coffee, hot fresh bread, portioned butter, jams, honey and all this in a cozy, almost homely atmosphere near the pool ....A fairy tale! But since we had an active vacation, we rarely managed to relax, because at 7-8 o'clock we were already carried away from the hotel.
If I'm not mistaken, Triton has 4 stars, but I would not want to live in it. It feels like you are in a hive - very crowded and a lot of people. The food is really good there.
Always a great selection, everything is fresh. Fruits: grapes and watermelons. Delicious puddings.
3. We were wildly lucky with the number. For two with a friend, we were given a 2-room suite with a balcony. The room has 2 ottomans, 1 large double bed in the bedroom, a kitchenette with a stove and utensils, a table, chairs, TV (but without Russian channels). The bathroom is combined, of course, the shower is small, with a pedestal, behind a curtain, but there is a large sink) I was struck by the abundance of white stone in the decor. Everything looks just sterile) Linen was changed every 2-3 days, towels every day. The maids are quiet, tidy and know a few words in Russian). Most importantly, there were almost no our compatriots in the hotel! Germans, British, Americans. Mostly couples, some with children, young people.
4. About the beach. I don't have my own. You can walk to the local general, but it's too crowded, and you can't vouch for the safety of things.
In general, in Greece you can relax on the beach of any hotel, which we did. Having once visited the beach of a 5-star status hotel, located almost across the road from ours, they spat and did not go again. It looks like a beach in Sochi. Odessa animators! ! ! , dirt. We rested on the beach of the most distant hotel (Cretan Malia Park 5 *), walking far (25-30 minutes), but a beautiful clean beach, free sunbeds. The road passes by the local cemetery. It turns out that the cemetery can be cozy and beautiful! Everything is in white stone, lamps are lit in the evenings. I recommend visiting the fish restaurant on the embankment, because in the city the establishments are designed for American taste, and these are pizzas, potatoes, steaks, burgers.
