Rested in Fotula Apartments in the village of Agia Pelagia in mid-May. This is not my first time in Crete and I like to travel alone, I usually rested in all-inclusive hotels, but you become attached to this, this time I decided to take an apartment and it is very profitable for the price. The road from the airport to the place where I lived takes literally half an hour, it's generally wonderful, the apartments are located almost 50 meters directly on the beach, the bay is wonderful clear water, sand, a comfortable beach, close to shops, I mostly went to Vasilis, it is the largest of all , near a pharmacy, taverns, souvenir shops, in the evening it is comfortable to walk along the beach.

Sunbeds on the beach are paid, 1 umbrella and sunbed 5 €.
There is silence in the apartment, no noise, the room is clean, my room was in purple colors)) Changed linen every 3 days, in the courtyard there are tables in each room where you can have breakfast in the morning outdoors. The apartments are surrounded by greenery, very beautiful.
For barbecue lovers in the yard there is a brazier our neighbors grilled in the evenings)). Air conditioning in the room is paid 7 € per day, but I did not need it, because the weather was comfortable. The owner George and his wife Fotula are wonderful people, they always responded promptly to my requests, they treated me with fruits from their garden)), and by the way, they extended the room completely free of charge until 6 pm, since my flight was in the evening. Well, I really liked it.
Next to the apartment was the Edem tavern, where the guide Farida advised me to go, so I always ate only there, the prices are reasonable and very tasty, I really like moussaka and seafood, they cook really well there, the owner Kula is a very friendly woman.
As for communication, there is Wi-Fi everywhere, in taverns and in apartments everything works very well and for free.
I recommend Fotula Apartments. I will definitely go back there.

In May, I had a rest in the Fotula apartments in the village of Agia Pelagia, I really liked it. Small, cozy apartments, silence, sea in 2 minutes. The room was on the first floor, beautifully decorated, everything was clean, the owner George and Fotula are wonderful people, always helping if anything was needed.

The room was on the first floor, beautifully decorated, everything was clean, the owner George and Fotula are wonderful people, always helping if anything was needed. The room has everything you need, a stove, all appliances, a refrigerator, a kettle. Safe paid - 2 euros per day, air conditioning - 7 euros. It is better to take a towel with you for the beach, towels are provided in the room only for general use, a shower. Wi-Fi works great, everywhere it catches well and is free. Near the apartments there are many different taverns, 3 more or less large shops, a pharmacy, souvenir shops. The sea is very good, the bay is cool, the water is clean, clean, there are practically no waves. All sunbeds and umbrellas are paid, sunbed and umbrella 5 euros. But it is not necessary to take it, you can lay your own towel, as I did. In Crete, everything is very tasty, I often went to Eden, large portions and everything is cooked with high quality, the hosts are friendly. Another plus of apartments near the airport, in general, a fairy tale ride for about 30 minutes. For those who want to relax inexpensively and comfortably, I advise.

Rested with friends in early June in Crete, in the region of Agia Pelagia, apartments Fotula. There were incredible impressions from the rest, it was the first time in Crete, we successfully picked up apartments, comfortable and inexpensive.
We lived on the second floor, the rooms are modern, everything is there: good furniture, tiles, a refrigerator, a kettle, by the way, free Wi-Fi catches very well. The rooms are bright, clean, pleasant smell, linen is changed 2 times a week, cleaned every other day. There is even a hair dryer. Air conditioning and safe for an additional fee.
The apartments have a small courtyard, there is a barbecue, my friends and I often made barbecue or fish in the evenings.
Another plus of the apartments, the sea is close to 1-2 minutes, it’s just a gorgeously large beach with sand, sunbeds and umbrellas are available, paid, there is wonderful water, there are plenty of taverns and shops along the beach, there is something to do at your leisure. By the way, I can recommend the Eden tavern, it is sooo delicious and there is a menu in Russian, the portions are large and inexpensive, the staff is very kind)) We were regular customers there.
Since we are in Crete for the first time, we decided to go on one sightseeing tour of unexplored Crete, the trip was wonderful, clear organization, we visited many interesting places, and got to know the island. And he is really wonderful. There is also a bus stop 5 minutes from the hotel, you can easily get to Heraklion.
Great apartment, will recommend to friends and family. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

To begin with, I was pleased with the meeting at the airport, everything was organized, quickly, clearly. We reached the hotel in just 20-30 minutes. On the way, the girl told us about the island of Crete. Near the hotel we were met by our hotel guide, who quickly settled us in the room. In general, my son and I liked the apartment, there was a cozy atmosphere. Friendly hosts! The room was clean, cleaned and linen changed as needed. There is air conditioning, a safe, all this for a fee. There is a small kitchen in the room, where we cooked our breakfasts and dinners. Within walking distance there is a store that has everything you need: vegetables, fruits, sausages, meat, sweets, dairy products... To be honest, we ate mainly fruits and vegetables, because we didn’t want to eat something hot and especially heavy. But we went several times to the local Edem tavern. I was especially pleased with the seafood in it, they were very tasty !! ! There is a municipal large beach next to the apartments, a minute's walk away. The beach is clean, sandy, and the water is just a fairy tale! It's nice to lie down, sunbathe, and then plunge into slightly cool water. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach for a hotel fee-4€ set.
We went on a trip to the island of Santorini. It was my son's dream! Here in Crete it has come true, and we are very happy about it. Our separate guide clearly told us what awaits us on the island, what places we will visit and did not let us down. Everything was exactly as she said. In fact, I really liked Santorini, a beautiful island! Those who have not been to Santorini will not understand the beauty of this wonderful island. We enjoyed our vacation with my son. 10 days flew by unnoticed. We will recommend Crete to our friends and of course we would like to come back again!!! l

We come to these apartments for the second time, because once having a rest, it is impossible not to return here. A cozy apartment house, a friendly owner, a stunning sea within walking distance, namely half a minute, and much more that can be listed endlessly, brought us back to rest in Agia Pelagia in the Fotula apartments on about.

Crete. There is everything you need in the village, namely shops, taverns, restaurants, ATMs and a pharmacy. But this time we decided to see the beauties of the wonderful island, because we spent our last vacation just on the beach, especially since we are traveling with a child who is almost 6 years old and we were just able to comfortably attend excursion programs. We purchased them from the guide of the tour operator of the excursion, who very clearly, concisely and colorfully told us which places are best to visit with a child. And in this way we visited three excursions, all the more it was very profitable for us, because the child was not yet 6 years old, he attended all excursions for free, besides, tickets to all archaeological sites for children under 18 years of age are also free, which cannot but rejoice. We went on a wonderful excursion to. Spinalonga with a sea walk, our child was completely delighted. The program is very rich and combined. This is a boat trip, and a visit to one of the most significant archaeological sites in Crete, and lunch in a stunning sea restaurant, and of course a city tour of the amazing city of Agios Nikolaos. Of course, we visited the excursion to the Palace of Knossos, because we wanted to get to know its amazing history better. On this tour, we also had lunch, I want to note, at the gourmet restaurant, where we tried real Cretan cuisine. And we stopped at the winery, where we got acquainted with the production of Cretan wine. Well, the journey "Unexplored Crete" seemed to us the most interesting, because we also visited the southern coast of the island, because we rested on the north. The city of Rethymno, which we saw in this program, simply fascinated with its beauties and unusual narrow and picturesque streets. Monastery of Preveli on the coast of the Libyan coast, pos. Plakias, where we dined and swam - in a word, we were completely delighted. On two excursions we had one guide, and on the last - another. So I want to say that they are both professionals in their field, each has its own way of conveying information, I want to listen to them endlessly. Well, in general, the organization of excursions from the company at the highest level. By the way, the region of Agia Pelagia is located almost in the middle of the island, so the road to all excursions was not at all long. This is how actively and informatively we spent our next vacation on the sunny island of Crete!

Well done Musenidis. But for the hotel, many complaints are removed superficially once a week, towels are changed 2 times, the water barely flows, there is no hot water at all (the owner hopes that the cold water in the tank will heat up during the day and so it will come down to tourists to wash. It is impossible to wash your hair).

It is impossible to wash your hair). Roosters yell all night, dogs bark at the unfinished nearby. The hood from the Kri-kri restaurant, with all the unpleasant odors, is right 10 meters away, respectively, from it and industrial refrigerators in the backyard, noise until 4 in the morning, Starts to stink at 11 am and until 2 am. "Musical" taverns on Wednesday and Saturday - walk in full. And neither the owner nor the travel agency inform visitors about the rules of conduct, that is, it is quite normal for the Greeks to get up at 7.30 and move tables, chairs under the window, children run around with the ball, then have a noisy breakfast - and do not care that others are sleeping . Some drunken Dutch at 1.00 am after the restaurant cursed and "fakali" until 02.15. After this rest, I have a firm conviction that the Russians are the most educated! and there is no such rudeness towards others. Pelagia is gorgeous, but another hotel is better. And advice, if you don’t like mosquitoes, then you MUST have a fumigator, even in the summer in the heat. The only plus is 50 steps to the sea. And so you can describe a lot of little things: sometimes there is no light on the territory, then right in front of the door there are mop buckets, rags - probably, so that they clean up themselves, they don’t take out the garbage AT ALL, carry it yourself to the nearest tank, for three days there was a cot next to the door, so it was it’s inconvenient to pass through - why can’t you put it in the closet right away, but you need to squeeze through? When talking with others on the beach - there is no such thing: silence, clean up and do not force the garbage to endure.

Very cozy quiet place, good rooms with everything you need, namely a kitchen, a stove for cooking, dishes. Because this time we decided not to eat as usual in hotels with a buffet, but to cook ourselves from fresh Cretan products. It turned out to be much tastier and more profitable than a buffet in any hotel. In addition, there were a huge number of different taverns and restaurants nearby, so when we were too lazy to cook ourselves, we went to eat there. The sea is emerald green and very clean. A huge plus was that it is located in a bay, so one day when there was bad weather and a strong wind, the sea remained calm and we continued to swim and sunbathe. In general, the area where we lived is called the village of Agia Pelagia. What we have been looking for for a long time is a very quiet and cozy village where you can really take a break from the bustle and noise of the city. We all really enjoyed it! I advise everyone.

I want to write my impressions from last year's vacation. My wife dragged me to Crete, although I wanted to go to Italy in general. To be honest, while flying in an airplane, I was in a terrible mood. I thought that no Greece would raise it to me. But, no, the rest was a success, oddly enough. We also chose Fotula Apartments instead of a regular hotel.

I didn't even expect it to be so good here. The sea is nearby, the beach is clean, the staff just blows dust off you. It was even a shame to refuse them when they offered excursions. It felt like they were so worried that we liked everything that they themselves did not sleep at night. Everyone is so friendly, it's weird. After our Moscow, where everyone walks around with dull, sour faces and does not pay attention to each other at all, it was unusual to see sunny Greeks. But nothing, got involved. I say right away that the hotel works without meals, so my wife either cooked herself, or we went to Agia Pelagia to a tavern. My wife says that for cooking, in principle, there are all conditions. The kitchen, although small, has a stove, refrigerator, oven, kettle. All in all, everything you need to prepare a complete meal. . True, the wife did not really want to cook, after all, they came to rest. Therefore, they ate more often in the tavern. Cretan wine is simply divine. Very delicious. Be sure to try. We even bought a house at our own peril and risk. There could have been problems at the airport, but everything was fine, it passed. What more i can say. The beach is right next to the hotel. We paid for sunbeds in the region of 5-6 euros for 2. But we lay on the beach all day long. The sand is clean. The rooms are cleaned every day, towels are also changed regularly. I don't even know what else to add. We rented a car, so we traveled all over the place. The photos turned out great, all my friends are delighted. In general, go to Greece, you will not regret it.
