In 2019, he rested in the apartments of Michel Marie. One of the best options for me. Arrived in early June, the weather was great. The apartments are close to the sea, it took 4 minutes to reach, the beach is clean, narrow, but long. Sunbeds and umbrellas are paid. There are many taverns on the coast, I ate in different ones, I liked it more in Eden, the neighbors advised, there are low prices and a large selection.

There are supermarkets, also close to the apartments, there are also fruits, but it’s better to take fruits in large cities in the markets, it’s cheaper there and there is more choice) everything is fine in the apartments, the owner is a good man. The rooms are modest but comfortable. I took the iron at the reception. Air conditioning is paid, 7 euros per day. Be sure to buy mosquito repellent, they will eat it at night. A safe can be borrowed for a euro if needed. Wi-fi is free, it is best to take it at the reception) and catch it in the rooms. I took a car and drove around the island, met the guys) it’s better to rent from a hotel guide. There are many rental cars without insurance, although they write that with insurance, be careful.

The rooms are very small, the furniture is old. But the service is not like that, there has always been water. Settlement took place fairly quickly, the room was vacant and immediately settled. It does not have such a territory. There are several shops nearby, very good, we ate ourselves. The internet was unstable in the room and normal at the reception.

The owner himself lives in the apartment, his name is Michalis, he settled us, showed us the room. True, she speaks only Greek, but our girl hotel guide Julia helped us. One day we left the keys in the room. And the door slammed shut, they wrote to our girl, she came running, told Mikhailis, the problem was immediately resolved.
The apartments are comfortable, iron, hair dryer, if needed, you can ask at the reception at any time. There is wi-fi, it works well, you can even download movies. Upon check-in, we paid a tax for accommodation, it is inexpensive here, only 0.5 euros per night per room. The air conditioner was paid for 6 euros a day, but we did not take it, it was not so hot in early June. The owner is friendly, he has a dog, she is kind, friendly and affectionate.
The room itself is simple, we had a living room with a kitchenette and a single bed and another bedroom with two single beds. Furniture is good. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, a stove with 2 burners, a kettle and the necessary utensils to a minimum, but this was quite enough. The rooms are cleaned every other day by a friendly woman, Angela.
A supermarket is 100 meters away, the sea is also 100 meters away, you can walk to a small church in the village. True, it can get boring here for a long time, it is worth going to travel to different places on the island. There is a bus stop 3 minutes from the hotel. Nearby there is also a farmer's shop where you can buy fresh meats, cheeses, and delicious wine. There they took food and cooked themselves.
We are satisfied with the rest, as for us, the rest in the apartments is quite profitable and convenient type of rest. Thanks to Michaelis for the hospitality.

We rested in May in Michele Marie with my husband and child. Small cozy apartments in the village of Agia Pelagia. There are some cons, but in general everything is fine. The village is located 20-30 minutes drive from Heraklion, a fairly close location to the city. You can get there by taxi, public transport or car (rented, which, by the way, we did, but more on that later).

The room in which we were settled was quite comfortable, for the price that we took the tour, everything suited us. The Internet was free, but the air conditioner in the room was paid 5 euros per day, but we did not use it, because it was not so hot.
We ate in taverns on the seashore, and in our opinion the best tavern is EDEM, very nice managers, delicious homemade food.
The beach is sandy, very comfortable, sunbeds, however, are paid, but we had ordinary rugs, and in principle we were fine. The beach is 3-5 minutes walk from the apartments. There is also a supermarket nearby, there is also a pharmacy, about a 7-minute walk.
Regarding excursion programs and car rental, they took from the hotel guide in order to avoid any problems with street agencies. We rented a car for 60 euros, a mechanic for two days. But we rolled so that we had no strength, in a good way) We looked at the island, mountains, olive groves and various villages. The village of Margarites conquered us the most, it is very interesting and colorful, clay craft and ceramics are well developed.
From the excursion programs we took the island of Santorini and the cave of Zeus.
All liked it! Wonderful guides, a deep bow to Sofia and Vladimir for a wonderful time.
Regarding the minuses that I spoke about earlier, the village is not for young guys, there will be nowhere to hang out or go to a disco, a purely family and relaxing holiday. To get to Heraklion by regular transport, you need to know the bus schedule, and the location of the stops in Agia Pelagia. Namely, there is a stop next to the Capsis hotel, and there are buses at 8:30 and 9:30, these are the only ones that we know, and to return back, there are also only two flights at 14:30 and 22:00... this is not at all convenient, and that's why we rented a car.
We are satisfied with the rest, although the weather let us down a little, but it turned out to sunbathe, I advise the apartments to those who want to save money and families with children.

That’s all. There are no staff at the hotel, only cleaning There is no reception, that is, if you have any questions, wait for at least someone to appear. And this someone: a smiling woman who does not understand a word of English and there is also a man Michalis, in principle, with whom it is also quite difficult We had to drain the water for 20 minutes to get more or less warm, we were not given a normal blanket, although we asked (we had to freeze at night), well, the bed, of course, was apparently made of stone) In short, we spent the night in this room 5 days out of 10, we went by car to different parts of the island and spent the night in other hotels, because the village of Agia Pelagia is located far from the "Civilization". I will give the hotel a solid 5 out of 10, only because it is budget and cost us very cheap)

We had a room on the second floor, quite spacious, because. the windows overlooked two sides - we did not need air conditioning (cost 7 euros per day). If you close the windows, then even in the very heat, the room remains cool due to the thick stone walls. Wi-fi was only in the kitchen (good enough for us, we didn’t watch movies online, didn’t download large files), free, like a safe, cleaned, changed linen, etc.
In general, everything corresponds to the description, there were no unpleasant surprises. Yes, the shower is small (they were ready! ), but there was always hot water, the owner is friendly, willingly responds to all requests, there were no problems with communication.
The only negative, perhaps, is the very old furniture in the kitchen in our room (there was not in other rooms), however, we were ready for this. If so, I would come back here again.

Hello! In August 2018, we rested at the Michele Marie Apartment in Crete. We really want to share our impressions about the well-coordinated work of professionals who organize our vacation! Thanks to all the employees of Mouzenides travel, from agent Svetlana to the wonderful girl of the hotel guide Yulechka! About everything in order. This year we flew to Greece for the first time with this company, although we have heard about it for a long time. Got a very good offer. The air carrier Elinair, although a charter one, also left its impressions: the planes are good, the flight attendants are beautiful, they offered wine on board. The beauty! And a direct flight from St. Petersburg directly to Crete, gorgeous. After the flight, it was time for the bus, they showed us very smoothly, helped with the suitcases. It turned out to be only 30 minutes to drive to our hotel, it is located in the village of Agia Pelagia, right next to Heraklion, the capital of Crete.
When we arrived, we were met by our Julia, a wonderful girl, she took us to the hotel (we were dropped off in a parking lot a minute walk from the hotel, since a large bus cannot turn around in the narrow streets). They settled us right away, we didn’t have to wait - this is a plus of the hotel, because it’s nice to relax right after the flight. About the hotel itself, I’ll say right away: these are apparatuses. We knew where we were going, that there would be no buffet, pool, etc. , but we just needed such a quiet holiday. About the room: we had a room with a balcony overlooking the road, there is not much traffic here, so no traffic noise bothered us. On the balcony there are two chairs, a table, it's nice to sit in the evening. The room itself is quite spacious, white walls, pictures on them. We booked a room with a double bed, which is exactly what we had. Linen is clean, towels too. The room also has a kitchenette, we realized that a large cooking knife had to be taken with you.
As they explained to us, you can’t put big knives here, only small ones. So maybe it will be useful for you. There was no hair dryer in the room, but we asked for it and it was immediately provided to us. The rest of the furniture is simple: bedside tables, wardrobe, chairs, table, armchair. There is no outstanding style, but very comfortable. The bathroom is simple, the main thing is that it is clean and everything is in order. Nothing flowed from the beginning to the end of the holiday. The shower is comfortable, the curtain is thick, nothing leaked onto the floor. Of course, all shampoos, gels, etc. need to be taken with you. This is not provided here, these are apparatuses. A safe is provided here for free, but air conditioning is paid, 7 euros. We were warned about this, we thought that it would not be needed, but we were mistaken, the heat forced us to purchase it. We were separated from the beach by a small path, about three minutes and we were already there. We were told that the beach was close, but we didn't think it was that close! Really three minutes and already the sea.
The beach in Agia Pelagia is quite long compared to some of the Cretan ones we have been to. Part is sandy, part with pebbles, breakwater, sunbeds, umbrellas, taverns, everything is equipped. Sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee, as always in Greece, but we were quite comfortable on the rugs. Sunbeds cost 2 euros, an umbrella 3. All that concerns
The village itself can be described in three words: taverns, shops, hotels. Everything is quiet, calm, the place is really for relaxation. Although we were in Crete, we went on two excursions, Yulia told us very interestingly, and we could not resist. We took a trip to Balos Bay - the kiss of the three seas, and Cretan Evening - an evening trip where we danced, sang and ate delicious local Cretan dishes. We are very pleased with the rest, everything is harmonious, clear, nice people and only positive emotions. Thanks again!

It is very good that the village is quite lively, but in moderation. There are no parties and screams until the morning, you can sleep peacefully.
As for the apartments, everything is simple and homely. There is everything you need for living)) We cooked several times, but there are all the conditions for this (stove, dishes, cutlery and even 2 shops at hand: a meat and a regular small supermarket).
Special thanks to the maids. The room was always clean and tidy.
In the hotel you could often see the owner, who, unfortunately, does not speak English, only Greek, but this did not prevent us from understanding each other : )
An economical and very convenient option to relax in Crete!

I spent my vacation in Crete, in a small cozy village of Agia Pelagia. I had a great rest, I haven’t slept so much as here for a long time. It flew perfectly, the road to the apartment takes about 40 minutes, which made me very happy. The apartments are modest, but comfortably furnished, everything is available for a comfortable stay: bed, wardrobe, kitchenette (mini fridge, kettle, stove, necessary utensils), TV, air conditioning and safe for an additional fee.

I lived on the first floor in the courtyard, I had a personal table with chairs, in the evening it’s very good to go out to sit, because there is such air, it’s a pleasure. In terms of security, I was worried for the first time that without bars, well, in vain, as it turned out to be safe here. On the windows, by the way, there are additional wooden windows, you can close them for the time of leaving. And at night I opened the glass windows, and closed the wooden ones, there are holes there for air to get in, very good. The apartments have free internet, the speed is really not very fast, it was best to work next to the reception. The hostess Maria is a pleasant hospitable woman, she is attentive to the guests. The apartments cost me inexpensively, yes, of course, they are not located on the seashore, but somewhere about 200 meters from the sea, the beach is wonderful, sandy, the water is clean, clean. Along the beach there are a lot of cafes and shops where you can taste a lot of delicious things. The village is very calm, no noise at night, for a measured rest, what you need and inexpensive.

Small hotel for a relaxing family holiday. I liked that there were no noisy neighbors and there were several more families with children, which influenced the respectful attitude towards each other. The hotel is very homely, and the only thing is not convenient, the staff does not speak Russian, but for this we had a hotel guide Christina, who helped us communicate with him.
Our room was on the second floor with a balcony where we liked to sit in the evening. The view was, of course, not on the sea, but it was nice to look at the evening village. The room is very comfortable, there is where to turn around, clean and bright. A hair dryer is provided upon request and is completely free.
There are many souvenir shops and supermarkets around with a different choice, and another big plus of the hotel is that the stop to the city of Heraklion is very close, the bus costs only 3.80 and you don’t have to spend money on a taxi.
And of course, a huge plus is that the sea is very close with fine sand. If you have a small child, this is an excellent choice of apartments for you, which will not cost much.
