Hotel Hermes Malia, which is located a few minutes from the center of Malia. The hotel has parking, a large deep pool with clean fresh water, a large selection of alcoholic drinks at the bar and a good menu in general, the reception is open around the clock, so if you need anything, you can always contact.
The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary furniture and appliances for a comfortable life. The hotel is mostly visited by young people who obviously came here to have fun and hang out. So sometimes it is noisy in the hotel.
From the hotel it is very convenient to get to all the necessary places, such as a supermarket, bars, taverns, clubs and there is also a small part of the old city where you can feel the local flavor. Separately, I want to note that next to the hotel there is an intercity bus service (Agios Nikolaos and Heraklion).
The sea is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, the hotel has its own swimming pool overlooking the mountains. The beach is mostly sandy, but in some places there are stones.
The trip around Crete was successful, informative and interesting, I went on excursions: Spinalonga and the Palace of Knossos. I liked everything, I will definitely come again.

The pool, by the way, helped out a lot in those days when there was a storm warning at the sea and it was forbidden to swim, you could cool off perfectly in the pool, enjoying the views of the high mountains. A very convenient location, where the very center of Malia is 3 minutes away, and the main street runs straight to the sea, where a huge number of European youth gather in the evening, the atmosphere of a daily holiday is in the air. There is also a wonderful Sabodakis bakery nearby, where we advise everyone to go and try local pastries, right next to the church. In the mornings, a large number of locals gather there, who come to drink coffee and discuss the latest news before the working day.
The hotel only serves breakfast, so we had lunch and dinner in different places. There are a large number of good local taverns on the embankment, where meat and seafood are cooked well. We went on excursions, it’s good that lunch is included almost everywhere, as well as a very clear organization of trips, thank you very much. We recommend this hotel to those who like to have a productive rest, to get acquainted with the island, and for young people this is a great option.

Liked everything. I lived in room 104, I liked everything. There is everything on the territory, the pool is simply gorgeous. What is bad only breakfast is included. There is parking for 3 trucks with a trailer. One thing, I miss 2 cats who beg for sausages every morning during breakfast)))
