Recently we had a vacation with my family on the island of Crete, we initially planned to take a car for the entire period of rest and travel on our own, we looked at everything at home, made up a route for ourselves. Therefore, I’ll say right away that we took a budget hotel, we didn’t expect much from it. I liked Anemi Studios apartments in Stalis, not far from Heraklion.
We arrived at the hotel only in the evening, everything suited us: the room was bright and clean. There is all the necessary furniture, the air conditioner cooled normally. Safe for an additional fee (2€ per day), did not take. Bathroom is good, mostly clean. The room has a small kitchen, stove, kettle, cutlery too, so you can cook without any problems.
We often had breakfast in the Anatolia tavern. Nice tavern, delicious food, reasonable prices. Near the hotel there are many supermarkets, souvenir shops, restaurants, taverns, cafes.
The beaches in the area are not bad: on all beaches, sand, two sunbeds and an umbrella cost an average of 8-10 €.
There is a small pool so it's clean to take a dip in the morning. Parking, no problem there is where to leave the car.
The hotel staff is very helpful, it's nice to be greeted with a smile and always ready to help. In general, very good apartments, value for money is fully justified.
