We returned from Crete a week ago. We rested together - me and my husband. We went to rest on a ticket from the tour operator Biblio-Globus. The girls from Biblio-Globus fulfilled everything they promised: they met us at the airport, took us in a comfortable bus to the Aglaya hotel, and provided us with a list of excursions. The hotel suited us perfectly: small, in greenery and flowers, with its refined and unique atmosphere, at a very reasonable price. We did not turn on the air conditioner, because, as elsewhere in Greece, its use is paid. But we were content with a fan at night, and during the day we opened the windows and the door when we were in the room. The wind was blowing quite strong! The air is fresh: mountains on one side and the sea on the other. True, it’s a bit far to go to the sea, but over time we adapted to cross the territory of the Kyknos hotel and pass through Alexander Beach. Yes, and as a walking tour, that’s it! The room had all the necessary set of utensils for self-cooking, the electric stove worked flawlessly, the water was hot and cold for days. . Special thanks to the cleaning lady Adriana - she regularly, 2-3 times a week, cleaned our room, changed bed linen and towels, which were white. Well done hotel manager Athanasius, he does a hard job to please all the guests, responds at the first request, if you need to solve any problem, provides information on issues of interest. Huge greetings to the wife of the owner of the hotel, Mrs. Aglaya, we wish her good health and longevity! Surprisingly kind and radiant person, always finds a kind word, asks literally every morning if everything is fine. In general, we deservedly recommend the hotel and believe that the combination of price-quality-location-service parameters is quite acceptable, and moreover, at a fairly high level!

I took the tour at the last moment. So there was no choice. In the photo and according to the descriptions in the travel agency, everything seemed normal. Now, as it really is: 1.500 m to the sea - as they say, but what is it for 500 meters !! ! It is necessary to cross the road in a busy place where there is no traffic light or pedestrian crossing, but there are many vacationers (did not check for alcohol) on bikes and ATVs.

I didn’t measure the footage, but, in my opinion, it’s more than 500 m from the sea. 2) the hotel is located next (5-10 m) to the main highway of Malia, respectively, it’s noisy in the room with the windows open. 3) and the windows will have to be opened IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY 7 EURO FOR AIR CONDITIONING DAILY!!! 3) For 13 days of stay the room was cleaned 3 times. Towels were changed 1 TIME!! ! 4) Breakfast-one name: 1 egg, 2 pieces of the cheapest varieties of cheese and ham, fig coffee and a glass of chemose juice. Yes!! ! You can taste corn flakes with milk. 4) and it seems to me that the most revealing thing is that DURING THE TIME I STAY THERE, I DID NOT SEE A SINGLE EUROPEAN THERE. Some compatriots. THE MONEY IS MAKE FOR US, BUT NONE OF THE HOTEL STAFF SPEAK RUSSIAN.
