When we took all the tourists around Heraklion, our guide said that he had to return to the airport, and we would be transferred to another bus and the new driver would take all the other tourists himself. Since we were vacationing with a 4-year-old child, he fell asleep with us after the flight and we had to wake him up. We did as we were told and drove on, but with us there were tourists who were from the Minos Imperial Hotel, no one had any idea where they would take us, it's just awful, we spent exactly 1 hour on narrow mountain roads with a driver at this hotel, who constantly talked to someone on the phone and pulled the minibus. After this hotel, we got lost and began to call in at all turns, in general, we circled as soon as the driver could. Finally, all the tourists were taken away and we were left alone, because our hotel is the last one from the airport. Suddenly, to our surprise, the driver asked us if we spoke English, because he did not know where our hotel was and where to go. After numerous phone calls, we headed further down the road and after 30 minutes we saw our hotel in the distance. On the one hand, we were very happy, but on the other hand, we were so tired that nothing pleased us. We fell out of the bus, but the administrator and the guy who delivers the luggage immediately ran up to us, everything was prompt and fast, we were taken to the room. We took a standard room with a sea view, (they all have a sea view), there was nothing above the norm, you could see from all sides and they were not all warmed up, vacationers had problems with them, only throwing money away - 840 euros . We rested a little and went to dinner. We had breakfast and dinner, the food at the hotel is very high quality, everything was delicious, but the staff is very slow and there are few waiters for 3 huge restaurants who do not have time, at the end of our holiday there were 2-3 times more tourists and we already had dinner plates they even cleaned up after themselves. The hotel also has a tavern and 2 mini bars, which also serve delicious food. . The menu was varied, although the choice is not very large, but we were full, although the prices bite - 0.3 liters of beer costs 7 euros. This is in a nutshell about the food of the hotel. The next morning we examined the entire hotel, of course a very beautiful place, very calm, the sea view is simply gorgeous. The architecture of the hotel itself is beautiful, but there are many shortcomings that should not be in 5 * luxury hotels. The beach is not very large, semi-sandy, the entry into the sea is good, which is important for Greece, there are few sunbeds, you need to take it in the morning, preferably early. The sea was also not always calm, all the turbidity washed up on the shore and at that moment it was very dirty, although we were told that there would be no waves due to our own bay, this is not so, sometimes they could not even go swimming (for us it was very important because we are with a child). Of the 12 days the sea was calm only 2 days. On the territory of the hotel there is one large swimming pool, a very beautiful view of the sea from it, but the water in it is very cool. The rooms were cleaned very badly, the dust was practically not wiped and the floors were poorly washed, we can say that they didn’t wash it, the towels were changed every day, but tea, coffee, sugar were given only on the first day and they didn’t bring it anymore, on the water that was brought in the evening, also saved. There is practically no animation, even for adults. For a fee at dinner, you could listen to live music in one of the restaurants, and that's all. For children, there is nothing at all, except for baby carriages and there is a mini club, in which there is nothing else besides a TV with games, 1 hour stay in it costs 16 euros. Twice we went to the city by taxi, there and back 24 euros, by bus, which runs from the hotel is not very convenient. Some tourists rented a car - 35 euros per day. We had no problems with the reception, a very friendly Russian girl, Olga, worked there. Among the staff there are also Russians - Yuri and Thomas, with whom we communicated, work well, well done. Yes, one more thing, but our child fell ill, we called a doctor through our insurance company, everything was very unorganized, after the visit the doctor never called us again and did not find out how the child was feeling, although there was a temperature of 39. In general, there were no extra movements. We flew through a Tez tour, a company that does not justify such costs, which I will write about later. The hotel has a SPA salon, which I visited at the end of the holiday, I did a full body scrub, I didn’t like it, because it should be a scrub, not relaxation for 30 euros. In general, probably everything about the hotel, at the moment I can give the hotel 4, given the quality food, but not 5, and even the suite, it’s not worth that kind of money in any case, although next year they want to make it even more expensive. Before you go to cock everything really, do not rush at the fact that it is new. The way back was already faster, but now we saw with our own eyes how our planes are being prepared for flight: we had a night flight at 23-15, we checked in, there were 30 minutes left before departure, and we still were not invited to board , then someone saw our plane, which had just arrived from Samara, we could not believe our eyes, because the flight was not transferred to us. They quickly adjusted the ladder, unloaded the luggage, then they began to refuel the plane and announced landing, they did not even examine the technical condition, and in the meantime our entire crew was busy purchasing goods in the duty-free shop. We all quickly boarded the plane, it was very hot and stuffy, the cabin was not cleaned, the flight attendants were very nervous and angry. In general, we took off at 23-25, now I understand why our planes sometimes do not reach their destination. IN GENERAL COMPANY TEZ TOUR WORKS FOR 2!! !
