Inspirational weekend in Tbilisi
I had a free week in September and just received an interesting offer on VKontakte for a tour to Georgia. I decided to go myself, I was not there))) I heard a lot of stories about this country, but I still couldn’t go. Now I'm sharing my experience! Most of them are from Tbilisi - it blew me away! The city of sun, smiling people and delicious wine! I fell in love)
Walking along the Peace Bridge at night is a special pleasure. It is illuminated beautifully, then the light disappears and returns like a wave back! It offers a wonderful view of the Narikala fortress. The guide said that it was built in the 13th century (or so).
The people impressed me the most! I walked everywhere with a girl whom I met on the tour, at first she was wary of everyone, but literally after a couple of hours she blossomed in Tbilisi))) Everyone is very friendly, the owner of the hostel, Adele, is such a cutie, although she didn’t even understand English well , was always ready to help in everything: carry a suitcase, fix a lock on a bag, etc. Then I met two more Georgians, one of them, Goga, runs a small restaurant with very tasty cuisine. He turned out awesome shish kebab. . .
I didn't want to leave. . . I advise everyone to visit Tbilisi at least once in their life! And more than once is better. Far more than once!
