Georgia excursion
We tried the low-cost air carrier (WIZZAIR) for the first time. Impressions are the most favorable. The plane was new, clean and generally no different from regular flights. Zhuliany airport (international terminal) differs from Boryspil only in size - everything is at a good level.

The whole second day was devoted to excursions. Overview of Kutaisi without leaving the car, two caves and three temples. In general, it is better to divide it into two days, otherwise we almost ran around the temples and were very tired.
Already the first cave (Sapleti) struck us with its beauty. In addition, on the way to it you take a walk along the most beautiful mountain path. And then we walked through the mountain forest, looked at the views from the observation deck.
The second cave (Prometheus) simply killed us with its beauty and size (a couple of km long). For me, this beauty caused associations with a Gothic temple in a horror movie. Everywhere color illumination, very beautiful and competent. Finally left the cave along the underground river in a boat!
The temples (monasteries) of Kutaisi (Bagrata, Gelati, Motsameta), as well as throughout Georgia, are small, original, laconic, standing in the highest and most picturesque places. That is, if you are indifferent to history and architecture, you can get great pleasure from contemplating the beautiful mountain landscapes.
After a week of skiing, we descended from the mountains in Tbilisi (25 degrees Celsius! ) for 5 days.
We spent the first day ourselves, then we visited Tbilisi and other places (Mtskheta, Sighnaghi) with the help of a guide (again, the ubiquitous Stepan from Ozon helped us with the guide).
There is something to see in Georgia besides Tbilisi. Basically, these are temples-monasteries in the mountains. In addition, in recent years, several nice compact and cozy mountain towns have been restored for tourists - Mtskheta, Sighnaghi, Rabat; Most of the historic buildings have been restored from ruins. All major tourist sites are kept in excellent order at the European level.
The hotels are very good. There is order in the country, there is no crime. The roads are generally better than what we currently have. In general, at the moment a trip to Georgia is no longer extreme tourism.
There is a lot of evidence that people live in poverty. However, those who wish can look at Wikipedia and make sure that GDP per capita in Georgia is 1.5 times more than in Ukraine. . .
One of the goals of our trip to Georgia was to see for ourselves that it is possible to defeat corruption and restore order in the country in just 10 years. We talked a lot with people, we watched ourselves. We made sure. It would be a shame if it all went to waste. But this is already from the field of politics and philosophy.
A separate topic is Georgian cuisine. We like her very much. You can go to a Georgian restaurant at home, but here everything is perceived in a completely different way.
Well, Georgian hospitality is not a myth, it exists. We are welcome here. As tourists, guests. They understand us and are not afraid (unlike Westerners), as it seemed to me. They don't know how to please, what to feed. . .
