Spring under the shadow of Tsinandali Park
This name, Tsinandali, sounds so melodious, as if a spring stream is ringing, collecting in the spring all the power of snow melting from the sun. In such an off-season, we were led by a thirst for special impressions in Georgia, and in order to make its mosaic image brighter, we included the theme of gardens and parks in the route... and on one of the fine days we went from Tbilisi to Kakheti, famous for its wines.
The fame of the winemakers of Eastern Georgia in Tsinandali, with its century-old cellars and a collection of rare wines, was multiplied by the fame of gardeners: an elegant park in the estate of the valiant Prince Alexander Chavchavadze today is one of the cult places on the tourist map of Georgia.
Moreover, in those days, the manor-museum hosted a prestigious exhibition of works by the original surrealist Salvador Dali, so that the "Kakhetian hinterland" could compete with the capital's galleries in the struggle for the attention of the audience.
In a word, Georgia continued to surprise and delight us with sparkling images. . .
