Again a good idea

In general, the specialty is called "tourism business", but in all universities the names of faculties and departments are different. Of course, knowledge of foreign languages, knowledge of hotel management, geography, and history are welcome in the tourist industry. . . a lot more. But!. . . In 99% of cases, guides (transfer, hotel, sightseeing) are people who do not have such education, often not even knowing the language of the country where they work or corny English. Basically, the guides of the hosts in foreign countries are children, relatives of people who are related to the tourism business. It is clear that they will not give you the necessary information, at best, what they read in the brochure, which they will give you in your hands anyway. The work is not the most profitable, although interesting. Sometimes students of the faculties of tourism business and foreign language are trained in such positions (for example, in Greece, but these are Muscovite students whose parents paid for the internship). And in many countries, citizens of these countries work as guides, for example, in Croatia, Bulgaria, Thailand (the latter paired with a Russian guide), so they do not need staff from Russia. In general, the topic was touched on an interesting one, it’s a pity that it’s a bit off topic for the site!

thanks for the answer my dream is to travel
ANOTHER CRAZY IDEA TO TRAVEL GET A WORK ON A CRUISE SHIP AS A WAITRESS *serving staff*
I don’t know how such an adventure could turn out for me
after all, there is no way to make sure of the reliability of the company that is doing the work
* long-held fears creep into my head that people who get such jobs will be sold into slavery
I know that in Ukraine there is a register for companies applying work abroad that have a license, can someone tell me where you can see it
and maybe someone has already worked on cruise ships, share your experience
