Parisian Accords. May 29, 2011
Good day everyone!
On May 29, I'm going on the Paris Chords tour, and a lot of questions arise, maybe someone can help :)
1. What is the approximate budget for the trip?
2. Does it make sense to visit the Louvre, Montmartre, Versailles and Disneyland on your own?
At first they thought to buy a ticket for 5 days for 52 euros Vizite Paris, and see all the sights themselves, but some acquaintances dissuade them, they say the Louvre is so huge that we ourselves get lost there, and it’s better to be with guides everywhere.

I will answer about the Louvre - yes, it is rather big, but it is impossible to get lost there, excellent navigation is everywhere. The palace has a U-shape, nothing confusing. Pointers to the main objects hang from the entrance itself, in addition, at the entrance, everyone is given a plan of the exposition. So it's better to go and enjoy on your own!
But Montmartre and Versailles are not bad to visit with a guide, they tell a lot of interesting things.
Well, in Disneyland, no one is needed at all!

We went to Paris on our own, planned each of the seven days in advance, trying to squeeze as much as possible into them (but so that without a race!), We decided that we would not kill at the Louvre all day, it makes no sense - there would only be a hodgepodge in my head, we looked only Mona Lisa, Nike of Samothrace and Venus de Milo - so to speak, the most important and basic! It is impossible to get lost in the museum.

Some museums in Paris now have electronic guides. You hang the player on the ground :) and calmly move around the expositions, getting a detailed story about the exhibits. During my stay in France (3 years ago) I used such "guides" in Verasles and the Musée de Orsay. The Louvre did not have a Russian-language audio guide then. Maybe now it has already appeared. The advantages of such viewing are: it is convenient, economical and you plan the tour yourself in time.
Otherwise... It's very pleasant to wander around Paris. Getting lost, knowing English at the school level, uuu ... let's say it's hard. The indigenous people speak this language very well. He is willing to make contact. Very polite and helpful people.

Yes, being able to wander around Paris is something!!! I did just that one day, sending my daughter and granddaughter to Disney, and for seven hours I just walked thoughtlessly around the center - it’s simply impossible to get lost! And what is most interesting - two foreigners asked me in English how to get to the Opera - and I SHOWED them!!! I'm still proud!

on the first two days of our arrival, we immediately traveled by metro and minibuses, all together on the map, slowly, where we wanted to go and moved with visits to eat and drink ... on the third day, paid excursions and general information made us laugh, we had already been there and not from the bus window, but for a glass or walking in an embrace !!!

And it’s also very convenient on the red or yellow buses - where you wanted to get up, take a walk, see what attracted attention, get on the next one and drive on. We bought tickets for two days (so much cheaper!) - and Paris in your pocket! Yes, and from the second floor we took a bunch of pictures!
