This hotel has no slippers, no bathrobes, no comb, no toothbrush.... Plus, two teenage children of different sexes were placed in the room on the same bed. None of our requests and pleas led to nothing. The answer of the Russian girl at the reception was ironclad: “This is how tour operators booked in Moscow! ”. After we wrote a letter to the Sheraton office in New York, the children were kindly moved to an adjacent room with two beds.
Breakfast at the hotel is outrageously monotonous: tray No. 1 - bacon and sausage, tray No. 2 - mushrooms and potato balls, tray No. 3 - mixed omelet, tray No. 4 - tasteless pancakes. On the next table, all kinds of bread, jam, cereal. On a small table - cheese, sausage, yogurts, some fruit - watermelon, melon, grapes. That's all! For 2 weeks the range has not changed!
The rooms are small and without a balcony! This made it difficult to dry swimsuits and towels for the beach. (The hotel does not give towels at the sea! ). The room has a bed, a wardrobe, an iron, a TV (ORT channel), a small computer table, a refrigerator. Room cleaning is done in a strange way. All day long there are cleaning carts in the corridor, carts with towels and linen, carts with gel shampoos. You can leave early in the morning by hanging a sign on the door “cleaning” and come to dinner and at that very moment the Negro aunt will come to clean your room. That really pissed me off. And even better at 8-50 when you still have drool on the pillow, and she opened the room with her key and asks if she should clean up. I almost broke this aunt with a bucket at that moment! Then - the sea. Go 3 minutes. If you want to a paid beach (19 euros per person), if you want a free one. There is a shower, a toilet in the sea. There is a swimming pool on the roof (towels are provided), it is designed for 40 people. You can also have a bite to eat here.
In the evening we went to the center twice (Medetsin Street) and didn’t want to, walk for 30 minutes. There are shops on the same street. Only one Galeries Lafayette deserves attention. When we took the car (be sure to take it with a navigator), we found a huge shopping center "Lafayette" and just settled there. It is located if you pass the Nice airport along the coast and immediately after the airport on the left. Please note that shops are open until 19-30. We were at the Fragonard factory. It seems to me that they spent money in vain. We were in Cannes (10 minutes by car) - a very beautiful city and next time instead of Nice, I would choose only Cannes! We went to Antibes, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Menton (a very beautiful town). Finally, we were brought to Italy in San Remo (60 km from Nice). We didn’t get only to Saint-Tropez (115 km from Nice). But this is next time…………
