We decided to spend a vacation in Nice after reading the review-
other vacationers. My wife and I got the impression that
that everything is much simpler than the pathetic descriptions in the travel
le Meredien 4 * hotel we chose because of the proximity to
sea. It turned out that everything written about this hotel
true. The hotel is located on the first line in
5 minutes walk from the sea. Great room, large TV
visor, refrigerator, air conditioner. The room is cleaned and vacuumed
every day. Towels are changed daily and once a week-
bathrobes. The travel agency assured us that in the mornings there would be a so-called.
a very meager "continental breakfast" - coffee, croissant and jam. It turned out that the breakfast buffet was satisfactory
allowed any tastes - ham, sausages, cheese, scrambled eggs, yogurt,
jams, honey, milk, juices, various pastries, coffee, etc.
All hotel staff, polite and helpful,
drove the most positive experience. Concluding my review
about the hotel, I will note two negative circumstances, which
which slightly overshadowed our impressions. Firstly, to our
to my surprise, there was no balcony in the room!

request a room with a balcony. Secondly, not a single person from
the hotel staff did not speak Russian. This despite the fact that
about 15% of the residents were Russian speakers.
In our opinion, le Meredien deserves an "excellent" rating.
We have found that despite slightly higher prices,
than in Italy or Spain, holidays in Nice are quite demo-
ratic, the opportunity to visit Monaco, Cannes, San Remo makes
