The tour is classic Paris. Free half day on the day of arrival. Please help me to make an itinerary for the first acquaintance with Paris
Our tour includes 6 excursions: sightseeing, perfumery museum, historical center + Notre Dame, Montmartre, Versailles, Louvre. But I want to see a lot more. Our hotel is Pax Opera. Near Cadet metro station.

good afternoon. in principle, you have a very rich program. it lacks the eiffel tower. there are certainly long queues, but you can buy a ticket on the official website, print them out and come with them, there is almost no queue. these tickets will be already with a certain time. I also recommend visiting the Lafaet Gallery, at the Opera Station, well, if you are planning shopping. We were there with my family, I mean Paris many times, write if you are interested. the perfume museum is complete nonsense, a scam, don't buy anything there. if you want a really good perfume, then in the gallery.

How many days do you have in Paris in total? I would add the Latin Quarter, the boat on the Seine, the tower, the Musee d'Orsay, the Opera, the Luxembourg Gardens, the Pantheon, the palaces, the Moulin Rouge, if there is time. And an excursion to the Perfume Museum is shopping in general, but I personally like Fragonard's Eclat fragrance, why not buy it if you like something.
аватар ollennka
Oh, and Defans, I personally liked it.

Thank you very much for your advice. Tell me more, what is better to choose for the evening program - Moulin Rouge or something else. The entrance fee is not cheap, so you will have to choose one thing.
I’m also interested in where in our area you can have a not very expensive lunch and dinner, if the word “cheap” is generally applicable in Paris. We live in the opera district.
аватар duhovnayae
I don't even know what to advise you. We haven't been to the Moulin Rouge - it's expensive. Basically just walking around. As for dinner, of course everything is sooo expensive for the opera. We once went for lunch for 100 euros, it was just not convenient to leave when we saw the prices. The farther from the center, the cheaper. In general, there are no dishes cheaper than 15-20 euros. And it’s not tasty at all, apparently we were so lucky! But in the center there is a menu in Russian. And it is not very clear what they offer.

I would go to Golden Age, Yalikavak (Bodrum). Both adults and children have something to do there.
аватар destiny76
Sorry, I sent it by accident

Clear. Looks like food will be a problem. Maybe buy in a supermarket? But the rooms don't even have a fridge.

You know, we cooked in the room. They took a small kettle, a boiler, and bought a ladle there. We bought sausages, very tasty sausage, cheese, cherry tomatoes, green peas, croissants. You know no one has lost weight!!! Well, sometimes, of course, they went to a cafe, but to be honest, they weren’t thrilled. McDuck as an option. They also have a self-service cafe, next to the Pompidou Center, it's not expensive there. If you're interested, I'll write more.
аватар duhovnayae
By the way, you can certainly rent a mini bar. Find out when you will be moving in.
аватар Annagre09
Thanks. I think we'll do that. Take a kettle and kettle with you. And we’ll buy a saucepan so as not to drag it. Really great idea. Can you tell me more about this self-service cafe? What is it called and where is it located.
аватар duhovnayae
It’s better to take a ladle with you so as not to run around and look for it, now we carry it with us, it doesn’t take up much space. The cafe is called Flunche. There the system is as follows: there is the main dish of the day, for example, a steak for about 5-6 euros, you take it, then you buy a plate, depending on the size, it costs from 2 to 5 euros. And put everything you want in it, for example, some salads, snacks, vegetables. Side dishes are already in the zone after the cash desks, they are free. This is a cafe on the metro station Rambuteu. Not far from Montmartre. Yes, everything is close by. Between metro stations, literally 2 minutes away. We went to this cafe several times on purpose. You can eat for 10 euros very well and even tasty. This station is on metro line 11. If you look at the metro map and you will have to go with a transfer, don’t be afraid, everything is really nearby. We had the longest road to the Eiffel Tower and it took 20 minutes. It is better to deal with the metro before the trip; there are features not like we are used to. If you're interested, ask what I can tell you with pleasure.

As for the garnish, you can take it as much as you want. The French themselves come there with ships and take the garnish home. Well, it certainly is a cool show.

How many days do you have in Paris? Do you have breakfasts included? If not, it's even better, we ate much tastier in the room. Be sure to buy foie gras awesomely delicious with a baguette. Bank costs 10 -12 euros. Just ask in the store to show it to you, otherwise you can not buy it. We also bought it home very tasty thing! Tea and coffee, by the way, were also brought from their homeland and disposable tableware. Doesn't take up much space but is very useful.
аватар duhovnayae
By the way, there are usually very few sockets in the rooms or they are inconveniently located. We took an extension cord very useful.

Thanks, very useful information. I looked at the map. This cafe is not far from our hotel. About 30 minutes on foot, so we can get there very quickly by metro. And we will no longer waste time looking for an inexpensive place for lunch.
And we will definitely try the foie gras.
We are in Paris for 6 days. I already wrote that there are 6 excursions on the tour, but I think there will still be time for an independent study of the city. I just want to walk quietly and not run for a guide. I don’t know if we did the right thing by taking it. Without excursions, of course, much cheaper. But since we are flying to Paris for the first time, we thought that it would be much easier to get to know the city this way.

Another such purely feminine advice if you use La Roche-posay facial products, then be sure to buy them at a pharmacy. The difference with the fact that they bring us a colossal. You just need to compare prices in pharmacies because they can vary greatly within 5-10 euros for the same thing. Do not regret that you took with excursions, it's great. Go yourself next time. You will definitely want to return. I wouldn't leave from there. Try to get to the Eiffel Tower, it's very cool. There you can romantically drink a glass of champagne, they sell it at the very top. Somewhere around 3 euros.

Thank you very much!!! We are flying on August 6, so there is still a week of preparation and I will be glad for any advice.
аватар ollennka
Ohhh, my heart bled. Go to France and eat McDuck and sausage
аватар ollennka
There are inexpensive establishments there, but, as usual, they are far from the tourist trails.

If you plan to use the metro a lot, then it makes sense to take a carne - it's just 10 tickets. It costs 14 euros in my opinion. Cheaper than buying a ticket. By the way, the Louvre is free to visit on the first Sunday of the month. If you are planning to buy a perfume, then it is better in Paris, it is more expensive in a dutik. You are just on sale. When you enter the supermarket, do not be surprised by the unpleasant smell, this is how their signature cheese smells. We brought him once, so our suitcases smelled so much that everyone immediately determined where we were from. At st. metro opera there is a choir supermarket korifur. Everything's there!!! Be sure to try their croissants, it's something! They cost from 1-2 euros, where as. I have never eaten anything better. By the way, in the metro, the doors do not open by themselves, you have to press the button. Both entry and exit.

I just tried to buy non-tower tickets online. Bummer. Until August 22, they are simply not there. I had to buy in a month. You have to stand in line.
аватар duhovnayae
Well, if all four inputs work there, then quickly. We didn’t get in the first time, only two worked and there were New Year holidays, there were crowds of tourists. Now it should be smaller.
аватар Annagre09
And I was warned that August is the most touristic month in Paris. The locals all go to the seas. But there are plenty of tourists.
Okay, let's not talk about sad things. And all the same, Moulin Rouge or Wide Hors??? Or maybe there is something else.
аватар Annagre09
Many who were from the Moulin Rouge are not enthusiastic. But this is probably if there is something to compare. I don't have anything yet.
аватар Annagre09
But it doesn’t matter to the tower, I hope we’ll somehow break through.
аватар duhovnayae
I would probably go to the Moulin Rouge. It's pricey, but it's worth it once. You have such a rich excursion, is it supposed to be free time at all? One Versailles will only take a day. If you go to the eiffel, there you can take a walk on the hay right next to it.
аватар Annagre09
I think there will be time. In addition to Versailles, all excursions are for several hours. Well, you'll see there. If we don't do much, there will be a reason to return
аватар duhovnayae
Happy visiting Paris! If anything else is interesting, write. I'll be happy to help in any way I can!
аватар Annagre09
Okay. Thanks again. You have already helped me a lot.
