We flew by PCR codes (with translations into English, they did it urgently, we already received it at 6 in the morning) so there was no time for syntements and flew to a hotel that more or less suited the dates, the price of the recommendation. Our tour operator "Krajina Tour" registered us on the website of the Turkish Ministry of Health, and registered for the flight, it's very good that we flew at night - there were few people, we switched and we were already in Turkey, we switched to the transfer and now it's rest (it must be said that there are not enough people at night cars on the road and we got to Alanya in 2 hours, I highly recommend it, it’s not as painful as it was during the day, I read reviews that people drove up to 5 hours).
The hotel is very nice, small and cozy! We met normally, we flew in at 9 am, put on the bracelets and were invited to breakfast, but we didn’t settle, not for money, not for chocolate, we didn’t count on it, there were swimsuits and martinis in hand luggage, and we went to the beach, we were met by gorgeous waves , they say this is a feature of this region... we were here for the first time! Having jumped in the waves, we went to a bar, drank cocktails, I can say that - not AH! Well, they tried, just a hamburger. . . not so hot, but quite edible! We lasted until one o'clock in the afternoon and the administrator in English loudly and clearly, with a Hollywood smile, told us that the room was ready!
Rooms. the hotel consists of 2 buildings, 1 building suites are large and beautiful rooms, and economy rooms, they say very small, we said that it doesn’t matter how long it takes to get to the building and we were offered 2 building (by the way, it’s nonsense to go through) with larger rooms - it should be noted that the room we got was quite decent, clean and comfortable, I want to note very beautiful golden elevators in the buildings! With huge mirrors and cute music, so whatever floor you are given is beautiful!
In the room there is a mini-bar greeting from the hotel Turkish sprite, cola, mineral water and chocolate, and 1 bottle of water every day, why we were given 1 bottle for 3 is not clear. There is a kettle and tea and coffee. I must say right away that the cleaning is imperceptible, even if you leave "tea" at least not, but we didn’t really spoil it. The only minus of the second building is that it overlooks the buildings of the neighboring hotel and until the animation calms down there, you won’t fall asleep without earplugs, I especially don’t recommend the 1st floor, it doesn’t have a balcony, just say what you want higher, everything seems to be done. We lived on the 5th floor and there was always hot water! On the balcony you could sit and watch the animation of the neighboring hotel.
In general, the hotel is very atmospheric, there are statues throughout the hotel, exact copies of the Istanbul Museum, that's definitely very beautiful - I would recommend this hotel for couples in love, for a honeymoon trip, or a wedding anniversary, or just for lovers, the whole atmosphere is conducive to this!
The feature of the hotel is a restaurant - do not be surprised, it is located on the 5th and 6th floors, it is a very beautiful outdoor terrace! ! with a stunning view of Alanya and the red fortress. Friends, it's so nice to drink coffee in the morning and enjoy the carp of the sea and mountains, and in the evening it's a million lights! In general, it's beautiful, it's romantic, I advise everyone.
About the food, the food is quite normal, I don’t know why some guests said that they were missing something . . well, there’s no lard and borscht here, but for breakfast there are scrambled eggs, fruits, raisins, oatmeal (rice), potatoes, cheeses, not edible their sausage, here I agree, but you don’t have to take it and a lot of salads, there are employees, and yes, they all impose, and no, they don’t regret how much you say so much and put it (if someone says that they didn’t give them something, I won’t believe it, it’s purely with me interest - what do you eat for breakfast at home ?? ? Yes, there are no cakes in the morning, which upset me, because in the evening they are in abundance, you yourself understand this will upset any girl, you don’t need sweets at night !!
Lunch and soup and rice and potatoes and salads are all there, local alcohol but quite decent, everything is poured from bottles as much as you can say, though on the first day they looked askance at us, they were probably afraid that we would not arrange a "tagil" but when they realized that we are not brawling, we boldly poured, by the way, the staff does not speak Russian, I took it off for 3 days with a loud hello and what do you think? ? they learned and began to answer, and also began to teach me Turkish, everything is very friendly and fun, very nice team!!!
Dinner every evening was fish and sea bass and dorado, and some other, as the chef said "turkish fish" + Olivier salad and double whiskey + fruits, as you understand, apples and pears are not interesting, we got into the season of tangerine and grapes, in general, a plate fruits and the evening is great, I want to mention very tasty desserts - chocolate browning, eclairs, biscuits, everything is fresh and really tasty! We didn’t get into ala carte, so I won’t say anything, due to quarantine, the room is closed and there is no disco, also very dubious animation, from wandering artists, and a lady over 50 who danced a belly dance and a number with a twisted boob, but does not deserve pity nothing.
Whoever traveled to hotels will understand - the skirt of the show, python, miss hotel, in general, it is more useful to walk along the embankment, breathe in the fresh night air, it should be noted that they made an excellent embankment in Alanya, but parallel to it there is a street with shops, no one is missing by the hand, if you ask, they will say, no, no... so who goes shopping there! There are also many markets for all former citizens of the USSR, for those who didn’t have enough in the restaurant - taranka, dumplings, lard, etc. , I won’t say that it’s cheap, but it’s quite tolerable! There are also sunscreens, after-sun, inflatable circles, other beach paraphernalia!
The beach itself is a beach with small pebbles, the entry is quite pleasant, and if you swim to the end of the breakwater, you can find huge stones, you can stand on them, and what is most interesting, there is a lot of sand, a kind of sandbank... very nice! There are sunbeds and mattresses + umbrellas on the beach, I’ll say this, not everything is whole, but there is plenty to choose from, there seemed to be enough places for everyone, but there is a certain peculiarity, all the beaches are across the road from the hotels, and the beaches are not fenced, that is, citizens from other apartments, going to our beach number 14, having paid money for a sunbed, they can rest for themselves, and those who have covered a towel, they rest for free on the shore... So I don’t think it’s necessary to leave some expensive things unattended!
The bartender watches the whole beach, he also pours beer and tea in the bar for vacationers from the hotel for free, for everyone else for money... the bartender looks formidable and only then when you make friends he becomes cheerful and even jokes. He drives outside salespeople from the beach, only his masseur once approached him, he was refused and he no longer approached. In general, the beach personally reminded me of the Soviet style, and the local uncle with a tray on his head who wore corn and bagels completed the full picture! Still would have shouted "pokhlava and seeds, beer and ram" and just like at home! And another huge minus is that you have to go to the beach along a land road, and Turkish drivers do not really give way to vacationers! A very nice lifeguard, we also became friends, he also does not speak Russian, but I am sure that he speaks English.
During the 10 days of our stay, there was a slight earthquake once, and 1 vacationer drowned, the police, the owner of the hotel and the lifeguard came to the beach, there were waves that day and the young man overestimated his abilities, alas, he drowned. So be prudent and do not overestimate your strength!
The animation on the beach boiled down to the fact that an animator from Belarus, I don’t even remember the name, walked and talked with aunts from Russia - inciting ethnic hatred between Ukrainians and Russians, but ALL adequate vacationers communicated with each other, without any claims and insults! They entertained themselves by playing cards, swimming to the races, jumping from the pier, looking for pebbles! Another unpleasant minus the pools were not heated, and the slide, I personally saw it worked 1 time, a child with blue lips rode there, for the sake of interest I tried the water, I almost had a cramp, the water is just ice, it’s not clear in the sea it’s warm and good, but in the pool not warmed up and it was not heated... and none of the 3 pools were heated.
As for gels and shampoos, they were brought in full, everything was on time, and a nail file and a washcloth, and after-shower lotion and a cap, there were no problems with this, the hair dryer dried my head in 2 minutes, there was also an abundance of paper.
In general, the hotel is very interesting, many tourists stopped and took pictures near this hotel, though it is very beautiful!
ABOUT Wi-Fi WORKS EXCELLENT ALL OVER THE TERRITORY AND IN THE ROOM, BAD ON THE BEACH!
The food in this hotel is generally a separate song, forget about the word all inclusive. Non-Russian-speaking waiters put you in, for breakfast 2 pieces of sausage, and in order to put more, you need to raise your tone again, and they look at you and put food in such a way that you owe nobody here and everyone owes them. For breakfast, either scrambled eggs which were never enough, or pancakes that were quickly snapped up, terrible sour cereals cooked on ayran, sausages are the cheapest, like a red price in five, sour yogurt with a touch of soap, chemical milk. For lunch, in order not to remain hungry, you need to pick up salads, red and white wine, as well as beer badlyated with water, vodka and strong drinks are so disgusting that they don’t look like any “badyaga” at all. For dinner, only a couple of times there was fish, on the rest of the days the meat was like a sole or chicken with a sour taste. Desserts 3 days of Bali are not bad, there were eclairs and profitrolls with chocolate, on the other days there was something incomprehensible.
There is no animation at the hotel, or rather there is no normal music leading. Animation is the simplest, ala "Gelenzhik", for the elderly. Cool music, dance, parties, dances, live music was constantly heard from neighboring hotels, since they lived on the 4th floor, you could watch it. The beach at the hotel is dirty, the sunbeds are broken, the umbrellas are crooked, ice cream and normal drinks are paid on the beach, the sand is very hot, the entrance to the sea is pebbles with large sharp stones. There is also no animation on the beach. Beach towels give out, attention, every 3! day, in any hotel this has never happened.
Wi-Fi in a hotel is just an unusual word, it's hard to catch it in a hotel even in the lobby. The small pool is triple chlorinated, caution for people with children and sensitive skin. We were without children, but I can’t imagine how you can come here with children, here 4 adults were hungry every day, and I don’t even know about children, there is no children’s menu. We had to look for a cafe near the hotel or go to the center to eat normal food! Dear compatriots, Russians, do not go there, look at hotels nearby if you want in that place, but it is far from the center, an hour's walk, Cleopatra's beach is also much better! Who gave the hotel 4-5 stars, this is the bottom of a two-star!
1. The rooms do not even have drinking bottled water, so fellow vacationers with empty bottles run to the bar and collect water from the cooler there.
2. There are no disposable slippers and no bathrobes in the room.
3. The iron is only paid and is not issued to the room.
4. The audibility of faeces flowing through the sewer pipes in the room is as if they are pouring onto your head in bed.
5. Cleaning ladies burst into the room without asking with their keys.
6. There are no hygiene products in the toilet, for example, a flush toilet brush, but there is a very necessary device near the toilet - guess... right! , phone!
7. To the left and right of the hotel there are also two hotels and in the evening there are also concerts and animation. All this together creates a general sound background, similar to the sound in the stadium during a goal scored against an opponent, that is, whoever is louder is heard.
8. There is a safe in the room, but as you know, the keys to it are at the reception and cost three dollars a day and ten dollars as a deposit.
9. The beach is dirty, with cigarette butts and floating poop from a dog that freely walks not only along the hotel's beach, but throughout its rest of the territory, in the bar, near the pool and along the corridors of the hotel. I don’t know, maybe the hotel owner’s dog, but she doesn’t look very respectable and shabby.
10. If you want to join the walrus club, you are here! The pool is unheated and no one bathed in it all the time, do not believe the photographs of tourists swimming in the pool, they probably all got sick with a sore throat.
Disadvantages: mosquitoes (month of May), crossing the road (no marked crossings) and a large pack of healthy dogs roaming along the beach along the entire coast. People are not touched, but they squabble among themselves.
In the evening, starting from 21.00 noisy - music until 23.30. If not in our hotel, then nearby.
When we left, we were happy. The main visitors are from Russia, Germany (pensioners) and Ukraine. Experienced said that this is the best that could be found for the price-quality.
ACCOMMODATION:
We arrived at the hotel for dinner and were seated immediately. Thank you very much for the responsiveness of all the staff at the reception, especially Olga and Daria.
The journey from the airport to the hotel took 2 and a half hours, we stopped at five hotels along the way. They settled in the second building on the 7th floor, because. there are more rooms and when installing additional. beds, there is plenty of space (we were 4 people, and the hotel rooms are designed for 3 people), everything you need is in the room. There were malfunctions with the refrigerator and air conditioning, which were immediately eliminated and brought a “compliment” with a bottle of wine and fruit.
NUTRITION:
We were satisfied with the children. Chef thanks for the variety. What surprised me the most was that I fell in love with Turkish soups (I had never eaten more than one spoon in other hotels). Fruits, meat, fish, sweets - everything is delicious. Big plus: Live music in the restaurant; have a late breakfast; night soup? , and also in a magnificent green bar you could always have a bite to eat pizza, pies, pasta (spaghetti), fries, etc.
SERVICE:
Very friendly staff. All our requests were answered quickly. The rooms were cleaned daily. Once they decided to take a nap with the children at lunchtime, they hung up “do not disturb”, so the next day after breakfast everything was already cleaned in the room. They left presents for the maids, they didn’t take them, but they twisted the swans. The waiters are just great!!!
ANIMATION:
Very cool guys!! ! As it should be: mini disco, then the show until 23.00 maximum, who wants to have more fun, go with the animators to the club. The animators would like to say a huge THANK YOU, without which the rest would not be a rest. They are just super, they will not let anyone get bored, unless of course you want this. Fairy is smart, beautiful! Do not leave any child unattended. The guys are also all great - they dance, sing, rock!
TERRITORY:
The territory of the hotel is small in antique style, very well-groomed. Everything is just immersed in greenery. The green bar is a special attraction of the hotel. Neighboring five with envy look from the balconies at such beauty.
BEACH:
Fabulous. Clear water, there were days when it was calm and with big waves. To the left you can find a cove for children, where there are almost no waves. I also recommend visiting Cleopatra Beach, we rented bicycles and went sightseeing with the whole family.
BEHIND THE HOTEL:
For those who want to shop. Outside the hotel there are many shops. A big market comes twice a week. You can also get to Alanya, by bike 30 minutes, and by dolmash number 1 and 101 minutes 5-10.
The hotel is multinational, I can’t even single out anyone else in percentage terms. I definitely recommend this hotel for all ages who want to take a break from the bustle of the city with comfort. If you need parties from morning to night, then you are not here.
We went on vacation with the whole family, namely we were 4 people (mom, dad, me and brother) to my brother, so that it would be clear 10 years old if there are questions about the age of the child...
I will tell everything in order...
one.
Our arrival was on 06/15/2013 at 12:00 local time. the flight was excellent, no problems with the weather or check-in. . .
We didn’t have time to leave the airport building, we were immediately “attacked” by our tour operators and taken by the arm to the bus (this time we were lucky that there were only 12 people on the bus including us, which means there were very few stops in others hotels), the road to the hotel took no more than 2 hours. Travel time flew by quickly.
I’ll only give a minus on the road to our accompanying operators, on past trips, we got very talkative and friendly boys and girls... this time, our "guide" was silent like a fish... he could not even answer some questions, I had to to people who traveled for the first time to explain to us... what and how . . (oh yes, advice: do not buy any junk at stopping points, it is expensive compared to the prices of the resting place, and the Turks have become cunning and do not make concessions)
2.
Arrival. . .
We had quite a lot of things... the boys brought everything to the room, we did not carry anything.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Almost every second person speaks Russian, and everyone understands, but you will not have problems in communication, especially if you only speak English.
3. Number. . .
As I said earlier, we were three adults and a child. We did not take two rooms, we took one, they put us another bed, see photo.
The room is excellent, although we were given it in building 2 (which I do not advise for the future), at the very end of the hotel, but there is no noise at all. It's not far to go to the dining room or the bar, there are elevators everywhere... and the convenient location of the stairs. The 2nd building is also bad for someone who often uses the Internet, wi-fi almost does not catch there.
Nice and comfortable bathroom, everything is cozy.
Room cleaning every day!
FOR THE FUTURE! If you want to change your towel, do not hang it on the bed... or on a chair or somewhere else, only in the bath and in the bath itself. Then they will change.
4. Restaurant. . .
This is a separate topic, and I can talk about it for days, as the food was great.
You know, in no other hotel have we been fed like this in the literal sense! A lot of vegetables, fruits... sweets... it's just hell for losing weight, because losing weight is not realistic there. There were three kinds of meat every day. There were fish every day.
The abundance of goodies led to an extra 5 kilos for all family members.
Note: I have not read other people's reviews... and I'm not really interested, because I felt everything myself. One fine evening, I wanted to strangle one aunt who was sitting at the next table and loudly (I don’t know why) shouted that the food was disgusting, and there was nothing to eat! Absurd!
It is precisely such harmful uh... personalities... they write nasty things, because believe me, we have been to many hotels - such a table for the first time!
Alcoholic drinks are also very good. We brought cognac and wine with us... took it back...
5. Beach. . .
Gorgeous... clean sand, more like flour, sunbeds, umbrellas, everything is great, this place is very suitable for children.
In the sea, somewhere from 2 meters, large stones begin, among which there are sooo many beautiful fish swimming, do not forget to take a mask! ))) This can not be seen everywhere.
6. Pool. . .
Whole two! The child seems to be 45 cm, I don’t remember exactly.
An adult with a slide... which works at any time (of course, while the pool is open), by the way, it is until 19:00
Clean and does not stink of bleach or other products.
7. Animation. . .
GOOD FELLOWS! And dances, and songs... and dances, and competitions... both for children and adults!
A day later, in a restaurant, a woman played the piano during dinner, and in the evenings she used to play the violin on the stage near the pool. . very romantic!
In a word, everything is organized!
8. Staff. . .
Very sociable, smiling and "bright" people. The waiters carefully kept order in the hall and on the tables.
9. Tourists. . .
We arrived there were practically no Russians, only a couple of families... and so basically, Germans, Swedes and the Turks themselves.
At the end of our vacation, sooo many Russians arrived... and then it started... sorry for the expression: redneck gatherings in a bar, in a drunken stupor and obscenities to the whole neighborhood, women of accessible appearance, and behavior... in general, as always, and how Russian people behave everywhere. (On my last visit, I was shocked by Poles in one of the hotels, Russians in this one. . . )
And so, before the arrival of the "compatriots" everything was fine... quiet, calm, cultural...
10. Completion. . .
To sum up: Everything was great. The room, the beach, the animation. . . everything is top notch. . the market is nearby, yes. . by the way, for those who are interested, olive oil and tea can be bought at normal prices and good quality at the bazaars that come in my opinion on Monday and Friday (or Thursday). . .
Very beautiful hotel, small. . . cozy. . . a lot of greenery, the beach is nearby, and you don't have to go anywhere, the hammam is good, massage, gym. . . everything is at the highest level.
A huge thank you to all of them for the holiday!
