Papillon Zeugma Relaxury 5*
This is a great family hotel that I discovered as a travel agent, my clients were very satisfied.
Free access to a la carte restaurants, which are included in the concept of the hotel, evening and daytime show programs, private beach.
There is everything you need for a holiday with children: good food, a playground, a swimming pool, children's slides.
Where do you like to relax, what hotels did you like? I'm very interested in discussing this!
You can also ask me questions, I will be happy to answer everyone.
For me, this is a sanatorium in Essentuki for "kefir drinkers".
The place called the main "restaurant" is actually a canteen with lazy staff.
Do you want to go to a restaurant? Then you need to sign up for it from 10 to 12 in the morning (are you serious? ) Everything works either until 16.00 or until 18.00. And if blah you came to relax and get enough sleep, then you won’t see 80% of everything that they write in their advertising !!!
Yeah, missed breakfast? Yes, and I didn’t sign up for a restaurant, then eat shawarma on the beach.
If you want to lie in the evening with your wife in the room with delicious food from the restaurant and a bottle of champagne, then no, my friend, this is not here.
Oh, there is a pub, but until 21.00 you have to beg for snacks, 2 types of beer: Turkish ephesus, which they call differently - sometimes it’s bad, sometimes it’s hiatus, sometimes beau monde, the taste is the same (I love beer and understand it), and some dark shmurdyak called Guinness (but it's not him).
I didn’t go to the cafe near the pool, or drink while standing there, as women of indeterminate age occupied all the sofas, turning them into their sunbeds. I took takeaway cocktails, there is no menu anywhere, I have to come up with a cocktail myself, as the bartender stares blankly and asks which cocktail (give me the menu).
The only place where there is more or less alcohol is the lobby bar, but no one gives you a bottle anywhere, they pour wine in glasses and believe me, the taste changes with 3 glasses, the staff’s blunt look at all questions.
No room service, forget it.
The grub in the dining room is the same, everything is prepared in the same sauces, on the 3rd day it starts to enrage.
On the 5th day, I began to look for a restaurant of Russian cuisine, or at least the cuisine where these spices are not. It is not in Belek.
So, my friend, I hope my review will help you. There is no service in Turkey. They lure you with stars and cheapness, in the end you overpay, this vacation is not worth the money.
The entire staff speaks Russian. Convenient for Russian speakers.
There are also Europeans in the hotel.
The kitchen is good. Alcohol is excellent, especially in the lobby bar and the quiet pool bar (Aperol Spritz, margarita, pina colada - all made from imported alcohol and very tasty). A la carte restaurants are worth the money, especially the fish one. The beer house serves 20 types of beer (including Guinness, Corona, etc. ) and serves excellent snacks.
The patisserie is excellent. Desserts, unlike most Turkish hotels, are not just different colors, but really have different tastes, textures, absolutely everything is delicious and has the right to be called "desserts".
Water slides, kids club, evening shows - everything pleases with the quality.
The standard room has a double bed + single bed + sofa under the windows. My 11 year old son slept on the couch. Those. a family with two children in the standard will not be cramped at all.
In general, the hotel is good and worth the money. If you do not pay attention to the contingent or go out of season - then 9 out of 10.
The hotel area is very clean. There are many terraces where you can spend time during the day or in the evening.
The food is very tasty, especially from the main restaurant. A good selection of dishes for children and adults, also a variety of dietary options.
We liked the animation in this hotel. For those who want to continue after the show, you can always stay at the disco, which lasts until 2 am.
The hotel has an aqua park, 2 large swimming pools, one of which is located in a quieter area. You could say we spent our entire vacation there. The only thing we didn't want was quiet music, otherwise everything is very good.
Didn't really like the area of the main pool, especially the restaurant. Some guests crawled out of the pool without even thinking to dry themselves with a towel and grabbed food. They try food with their hands, glass water from their hands straight into salad bowls, children are also allowed to serve themselves without being accompanied by their parents. I think this part of the hotel could be improved.
We are generally satisfied with our stay at Papillon Zeugma and would like to express special thanks to Murat, Ali, Anastasia, Sevek, Fatih and Bertour. They really tried and looked after us. Thanks for the hospitality.
1. Rooms: the hotel is not new, but has been renovated, the rooms are in excellent condition. It can be seen that the rooms have proper care, nothing is gouged anywhere. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything you need. Cleaned every day, the bar is filled every day too.
2. Staff / animation: this is the point that would brighten up all the other minuses, if they were!! ! Many thanks to all the staff, the leader, who prepared and distributed the people so competently! That option when you want to say that everything is in its place. Many thanks to Lenochka, who received and helped in the development of the area!! ! Animation guys, you are super! We have not seen such programs for children and show programs and daytime entertainment anywhere else! The staff in the restaurants also works great, like clockwork.
3. Territory: the territory of the hotel is not large, compact, green. The whole space is well-filled, clean and compact. The beach is sandy, the entry into the sea is smooth, with pebbles. There was enough space on the beach for everyone, a lot of sunbeds under awnings, as well as a playground under a awning. Volleyball games, thanks again to the animators, were held regularly.
4. Meals: we ate mainly in the main restaurant, there was always enough of everything. There were a variety of fruits (watermelon, melon, strawberries, peaches / nectarines, apples, pears, oranges, grapefruits), awesome ice cream, different types of fish and seafood, several types of meat too. Dinners were often themed, so it is always more intense. For dinner, there is always a dish from the chef, you will lick your fingers!! ! Juices, water, alcohol, all without restrictions and of normal quality. Turkish sweets are known to everyone, they do not need advertising, in the main restaurant and in the coffee shop in unlimited quantities.
5. Children's club: everything is organized in the children's club, children are signed up and with bracelets. Above the club there is a cool playground with a mini-trampoline, in the club itself there is a labyrinth with a trampoline, board games, rooms for kids with moms, a lot of interesting toy toys and wheelchairs. For the first time I saw cradles for the little ones on the beach and near the pools, it is so convenient for mothers, respect to you. In the evenings, after the mini disco, there was still watching cartoons on the big screen. Children spent a lot of time outdoors for quests and games, there was children's and adult football and water polo. The only thing is that the club has a specific smell, it is not sharp, but it was felt, apparently from detergents.
6. Wi-fi: we really needed it for work, because it was one of the necessary items when choosing a hotel. The Internet works throughout the hotel, it's a bit tight on the beach, not everywhere, there were minute interruptions, but in general it was enough.
7. Water park: there are not many slides in the water park, two or three for children and the same number for adults, but there were enough impressions anyway. Near the pool for kids.
Thank you SM Travel and Papillon Zeugma!
