I’ll just leave a review about the hotel, since writing a story about a vacation in Thailand is not very interesting if you don’t write something very useful or don’t have the ability to write interestingly, with humor, and my talents are tight. I’ll just leave a review about the hotel, since writing a story about a vacation in Thailand is not very interesting if you don’t write something very useful or don’t have the ability to write interestingly, with humor, and my talents are tight. The hotel was chosen based on reviews in booking, and it seemed like they wanted to live in Patong, read, chose and booked through Fargo a superior room in the main wing. Upon arrival, they spent the night in our room and went to ask to move to another, with one large bed, because we had two separate ones. After short and cheerful negotiations with Sandy, (as it turned out later, she is the director of guest service, I don’t know how this position is called correctly in Russian, in short, the boss) for a small surcharge, we moved to a studio in busacorn wing, and there it seemed to me better. Maybe it makes sense to book for a couple of nights, and then haggle at the counter and buy yourself a place to stay at a nice price. . . In general, the rooms are all good, both the superior and the studio, in the superior only the shower is not very comfortable, I made a flood there. cleaning twice a day, the bed is huge, the pillows are wonderful, it was a pleasure to sleep; comfortable wardrobes for clothes, there is an iron and ironing board, which is always important for us, our room had only a shower, there is a bath in the deluxe main wing, it is larger, about 52 m2, but it is more expensive, and the shower is enough. The hotel has two swimming pools, the busakorn has its own pool, but for some reason it is written that it is only for guests of this wing. Maybe because of the number of sunbeds. There is a bar in this pool, you can swim up to it or go up to it (the depth is only 1.20), drink something tasty. The food at the hotel is good, I won’t find fault, for breakfast there is a standard set - eggs, omelettes, scrambled eggs with various fillings, pancakes, toasts, jams, cheese, ham, sausages, fried potatoes, vegetables, fruits, pastries, Asian food - rice, noodles, dim sums, some meats, for children I saw only cereals and yogurts, I didn’t notice porridge. You can also eat at the hotel restaurants, we were in Terasso-Italian food, normal food, good service, large portions, in the buffet in the main building - daily themed dinner about 900 baht per person, sea or barbecue or family (any different food). There are no entertainment, in one bar in the lobby an uncle sings, European pensioners drink, remember their youth and light)) there is a spa, not cheap, but not deadly expensive, nice and the masters are not bad, little secrets, but such strong little hands! Maybe something I forgot. . . In general, the hotel, since it does not claim to be 5 stars, would put 5, with a discount for small errors of the staff with English, for some shortcomings. Well, every employee cannot be perfect, the human factor is always there. The hotel is good, the location is great, comfortable and clean. I liked it, if in Patong, then it seems to me that the holiday inn is a good choice. Expensive for Patong, but nice.

We chose the hotel on the principle of "the best place to stay with children", shoveled a bunch of options and places to stay, and decided that the holdday inn is the best place for this indicator. We were not mistaken with the choice, already on the spot we heard from many Russian guides that this is the best hotel in Patong, which, however, we ourselves do not doubt, since we saw quite a lot.

The whole territory is immersed in greenery, very convenient reception and access from the street, the sea across the road, a lot of pools and restaurants, including children, very attentive staff who constantly monitors if you need anything, there are always fresh flowers, water in the room, and other rubbish (free). They banged three glasses in two weeks and lost a teaspoon - they didn’t even include it in the bill. Change of linen and cleaning every day, if you go to a restaurant, you choose what you need from the menu (European cuisine) and after 20 minutes they drag you to your room (usually after daytime sea excursions, when you don’t have the strength to go to a Russian restaurant). Our two children could not eat normally anywhere else, until they found this zucchini, for 1000 rubles. there the four of us go out to eat.
Only the following things disappointed in the rest: 1. It is not possible to eat local cuisine in principle, even the one that is not spicy, such crap. 2. The stench of sewerage is everywhere on the street due to the peculiarities of the local sewerage system. 3. Local merchants pester you all the way and offer to buy all sorts of rubbish or get a massage, including on the beach 4. Freeze out local sexual mores and the associated abundance of homosexuals and other evil spirits on the streets 5. The almost complete absence of simple shops with simple goods (grocery and industrial), there are only round-the-clock with drinks, piece goods and products in packs.
and finally, 6: even on expensive sea excursions - huge crowds of people, dirty beaches and lack of time just to calmly swim and sunbathe. And local seafood is very expensive and tasteless, I would say, shit. In no comparison with our Seaside crabs and shrimps can even be compared. Who knows, he will understand: either I will buy a whole bag of crabs in Andreevka for 500 rubles or a bag of the freshest shrimp and enough for the whole evening for the family to husk with beer, or here for 2500 they sold me 4 tiger prawns (large) and one medium lobster, ( by weight) and there is nothing to eat.
In short, the hotel is good, and the rest is bullshit.

In general, Patong Beach is one of the best, most comfortable places in Phuket. I think the location of this hotel is excellent, it is located on the main street of Patong - cross the road and the beach! Everything seemed perfect in this hotel, especially when we lived in a villa on the second floor located in Busakorn Wing, where special attention is paid to you.
