Rested with my husband in early September, the people were on average Turks, Germans, British, Russians, Belarusians, even the French.
In Dalaman, we were met by a guide (Teztour), put on the bus and that's it, after that we did not see him, there was some kind of his assistant on the second day, he offered various excursions. Settled not immediately, pulled the rubber until after dinner, although the rooms were free. At the reception, 2 guys do not know Russian, a little English, and a girl with bad Russian. All of them are cunning, they only blink with their eyes, they rummage around only when you leave the baksheesh.
The room was given for the money - "good", only it was not realistic to sleep at night. On the roof of 2 floors on each house there are solar panels and generators, it is buzzing so you need to stuff plugs in your ears. If you advise them to settle on the first lines, then it is very noisy (children's animation, etc. ), on the distant ones it is annoying to climb steep steps.
The bus goes to the beach according to the schedule, we tried to go down and up - it's hard, even though we are in good physical condition. Although, sometimes it seemed to me calmer to go on my own than to climb such a steep serpentine with a bead, along a narrow path where there is not even a fence.
Excursions on the beach are 50% cheaper than the tour guide offers. so do not take it right away, ask who has already traveled.
The food is good, varied, pour as much as you want, do not look askance.
The animation is average, sometimes even very interesting. Nature is beautiful.
Despite the minuses, we liked the rest and wish everyone!! !

We went in mid-July, the first day we went sad, because we were immediately settled on the 8th level. But already on the 2nd, 3rd day we got used to it, we started going to evening shows. The animation is good, but tourists do not see a particularly active holiday, and most of them did nothing. In the hotel, most of the residents are Turkish, then Russians, Ukrainians and British.

No one speaks Russian at the reception, which sometimes caused inconvenience! On the territory there are 3 swimming pools, one for children, with slides and a large one. The sea is very clean, near the buoys you can see the bottom even when there are big waves! I advise everyone to go there!! ! Didn't want to leave! There are practically no one at the discos in the hotel, there are visiting discos in Marmaris and Seregerme with animators.

I am 22 years old, went in July with a woman 52 years old. We went for a week. In Turkey for the first time, maybe that's why I liked everything. I am 22 years old, went in July with a woman 52 years old. We went for a week. In Turkey for the first time, maybe that's why I liked everything. I want to say right away the hotel is family-friendly, there are a lot of children, although if you go in May or September, then maybe there will be fewer children there. There were no young people my age. The overall impressions are good, there are minor drawbacks, but these are trifles, if you pay attention to everything and constantly complain, this is only to your detriment, you just need to enjoy your vacation. The staff does not speak Russian, they speak Russian only at the reception, and even one of the animators is very bad. So it is desirable to know English, they know it). They met us chic, in a passenger car, a Renault with a leather interior, air conditioning, since only the two of us flew to this hotel. The staff is friendly. Another such nuance beat, after dinner I immediately had to go to the amphitheater and wait for the children's animation at 21, and then the adult at 21.30, because there is nowhere to sit except for sun loungers near the pool, tables on the outdoor terrace are occupied an hour before dinner. The animators did not work during the day (although they should), only in the evening, and did not wait for the morning aqua aerobics.
Number
We arrived at about 9 in the morning and settled at 12. As you can already read the hotel is level, they call them streets, all of them are 8, they settled us on 7th street. I don’t know how, but ask immediately downstairs, at least on 4-5th street, who has some health problems or a person of age is very difficult to get up, it was normal for me to pump up my legs, but it’s hard for my companion. But the view from 7th street is amazing. The room is spacious with two rooms and 3 beds. The room is good, not hot even if the air conditioner is not turned on. The bed, as it is written on the site, is changed 2 times a week, well, for the week that we were not changed even once, but this did not upset us very much (think, as if at home you change it more often). refrigerator is empty. They asked to be relocated, but they didn’t interrogate, well, nothing, we didn’t come there to swear.
Food
Varied, some tasty, some not so good, but mostly tasty. Very little sweet. A lot of vegetables in different manifestations, the meat is mostly turkey (very tasty), chicken, sometimes fish. There are tables indoors, there are outdoors, only the tables that are on the street are all free during the day, and all are busy in the evening.
Beach
Buses run to the beach from 9 to 19 every hour, from 12 to 14 lunch. Drive for 7 minutes, and then you need to walk through the park, which is located in front of the beach for about 5 minutes, and you are on a wide, large, clean, sandy beach, 50-60 meters from the shore to the knee, it deepens further, a wonderful place for those who do not swim very well, like me, the water is pure. The beach is full of entertainment such as windsurfing, paragliding, banana, tablet, scooters have not seen, just pay money. on the beach there is a bar for soft drinks, you can dine on the beach from 12 to 14.
Tours
Excursions at the hotel are very expensive, do not be lazy and go down to the village of Sarigerme, the same thing is 10-15 dollars cheaper there, well, it’s like someone’s wallet allows, they also offer excursions on the beach but they are not insured, but we went on one, nothing with us did not happen. Take a tour of Dalyan, a very informative, interesting, rich tour.
You can write a lot more, but I think that this is enough for the general picture, I hope this information will help someone. Nature is gorgeous, the air is just a fairy tale. Enjoy your holiday, and remember how many people, so many opinions. )

This is a beach for those who like to ride the waves. the beach itself is no different from the city which is nearby. Not well maintained, only wild shrubs and saxaul grow. near the beaches of 5 * hotels, there are palm trees, oleanders, and even better sun loungers (with mattresses and not broken). Feeding at the hotel for slaughter-food is good. The men will be full. it is better to go to the hotel for lunch, the food in the beach cafe is bad. No service. they have to change the linen after 2 days, they didn’t change it on the 7th, after I asked 2 times at the reception! dirty towels are taken in the morning, and in the evening they either bring the wrong ones or don’t bring them at all. Tips don't play any role. The rooms have old furniture and white plastered walls like in a hospital. I was shocked. This is level 2 or 3* Animators are very bad, their shows are not interesting even for children. My daughter and girlfriend just didn't go there. For adults there is not even a disco. Instead, stupid stick games at 12 midnight! many tourists simply reprimanded them that they did not want to work. Therefore, in the evenings there is a boring foreign country, you won’t go anywhere. well at least the saxophonist played in the evenings, very cool. we chose this hotel because of the water slides-4 pcs. But nowhere is it written that this is for children under 12 years old - the pool is too shallow, adults can hit their backs or elbows when they leave the pipe. We were afraid to ride there. In general, we had a good rest, I liked the sea. But we won't go to this hotel again.

Because the crown prince can only escape to Kariya to take a break from conventions, pages and the queen mother : ))) The atmosphere is absolutely relaxed: as already noted, the hotel is like a family hotel (I observed Turkish age (45-55) couples and young couples with small children). But there were also young childless couples, entire companies and quite a few loners like me : ))) The national composition was constantly changing: at first there were Russians in the majority, so the Russian show from the animators sounded Russia Holiday Resort, then young Turkish pensioners, very reminiscent of their German counterparts. When I left, the hotel was noticeably more likely to hear English speech.
Transfer from Dalaman airport by hotel mini-bus (about 20 minutes of travel through the Turkish "villages", left and right - covered with a gray haze at the top, and at the bottom with green mountains. Settlement for 15-25 minutes, and I was settled (it just happened) without participation of the guide, handed over the schedule and a list of hotel attractions. Young shyly smiling Turkish woman at the reception - Selim speaks very decently in Russian, the rest of the staff is limited to the phrases "good afternoon, how are you", elementary English helps, but they can do without it : )))
Transfer to the sea by hotel mini-buses, to the beach - 7 minutes, from 9 to 19, a break from 12 to 14 (lunch time). They pick up everyone from the hotel and from the beach, two times I had to wait 15 minutes until the next bus came from the hotel.
The beach is a huge bay, bounded by rocks on both sides, almost opposite the Kariya beach at a considerable distance - a rather large rocky island. Awesome entrance to the sea: smooth, after 20 meters - rise, so you can "walk on the sea" along the coast in ankle-deep water, then again a smooth descent and depth. The sea is clean, gentle, warm. It was a little stormy for two days, but given the highlight of the entrance, it was perfectly safe to play with the waves. If you go to the rock to the right, past the neighboring public (paid) and Magic Life beach, you can get into the small Lost World - a tiny cozy bay with fabulous views (in a couple of months the entrance there will most likely be closed and it will become a continuation of the territory of Magic Life) .
Feeding: meat goulash, chicken, sausages, sausages (which I have not tried), as always, a lot of salads, potatoes, rice, vermicelli, and various seasoning sauces. With the settlement of Turkish vacationers, Turkish national meats appeared (baked turkey, pizza, shawarma and all that). From fruits: watermelon, plums, apples, grapes and tasteless melon. A lot of Turkish sweets (delicious : )))
Animation from 9 to 10 for children, from 10 to 11-12 - for adults. I remember the Russian show (they invited our, it seems, dancers with amazing costumes and expression) and the Turkish night, hee-hee-ha-ha competitions with vacationers.
Near the village of Sarigerme with a small market, shops and cafeterias. On Fridays, you can go to the market and look around in Ortaca, a small town whose geographical location remains a mystery to me : ))) Travel by minibus from the beach 4 lira one way, 30 minutes on the way.
Mountains, pine trees, amazing air, amazing beauty of the sea, friendly people. Smile, gentlemen! Have a nice rest!

We rested at the hotel with a family (4 people) from August 12 to 21 from Aneks. The hotel at that time was half full, maybe that's why we had no problems with the settlement. We were met at the airport by a personal car, which took us to the hotel in 15 minutes, and the settlement took no more than 20 minutes. Our room was on level 4, we had no problems with walking up and down stairs. But I want to note that the lifts in the hotel are really steep and, therefore, for those who like to ride the elevator more than walk, it will be difficult. If you consciously do not want to pump up your leg muscles, then you should think before choosing this hotel. Although foreigners (English, Germans, Turks) with small children lived at levels higher than ours, they did not change their numbers, but ran upstairs with strollers. In general, this hotel can be called a family hotel, because the main contingent is families with small children, and most of them are foreigners. Fans of noisy, entertaining holidays have nothing to do here, you will be bored. We got to the beach by a hotel minibus, which runs strictly according to the schedule - once an hour. Take only sitting. There were no problems, everyone was always taken away, so I won’t even call the remoteness of the hotel from the beach 2 km away as a disadvantage. Once the whole family went on foot to the beach and from the beach. the journey takes about 40 minutes. Very hot and heavy, especially on the mountain. We no longer experimented and traveled by bus. Loved the beach with lots of free sunbeds. The sea is clean and transparent, very convenient for children, because the shallow (ankle-deep) spit is divided into 2 parts, shallow and deep. The length of the shallow part is 30 meters. The water in it is much hotter than at depth, and after swimming in the sea we sat in the shallow part for 30-40 minutes. Especially cool in the evening. They took with them a mask, snorkel, fins. Near the beach, the fauna is very scarce. only flounder, sometimes stingrays and rare fish. But I advise those who like to swim with a mask to go along the beach to the right side to the cliff. There is a quiet wild bay, and if you swim near and along the cliff, you can see sea urchins that sit in groups on the rock, and flocks of all kinds of fish, large and small, crabs, needle fish. In general, the spectacle is quite pleasant. . There, in the bay near the rock, there is even a source of mineral water. We went crab fishing with "crab man" Mike (a tall man of about 50, with a red bandana on his head). He arranges the tour himself. We really enjoyed. A sort of "green tourism" in Turkish. Crabs were caught and then eaten at Mike's house. He also takes him to a hydrogen sulfide source with mud. (Although the dirt is washed off, it is better to go in an old dark swimsuit). I recommend a trip with Mike, a very pleasant and not pushy person! About wasps at dinner. All 9 days we dined on the street, there were a lot of wasps, but they did not bite. In spite of wasps, all the tables on the street were occupied. Only families with small children sat inside the restaurant and those who did not have enough seats. With the onset of dusk, the wasps flew off to sleep. The only drawback I can name is not very liked the animation in the evenings. But this is purely our subjective opinion. I think that she suited many and it was fun. We watched TV in the evenings - there were very interesting films on the Planet RTR channel and we preferred their animations. And after the films we went back to the table on the terrace in the restaurant to drink drinks. The views in the hotel are really wonderful, a very beautiful area, immersed in greenery and flowers. At lunchtime, when you come from the beach, the air smells of pine needles and flowers, there is nothing like it downstairs. If you wish, you can diversify your vacation with excursions, but they are expensive and costly for the family. We walked in Sarigerme, nothing interesting, and the prices for small souvenirs are more than in a hotel. We were satisfied with the room, everything worked. they gave out 4 large and small towels for everyone, we didn’t even use them all. On the terraces in front of the rooms there are very convenient dryers, things dry perfectly. We had no complaints about the work of the staff, they do their work as established in the hotel, and not as some would like. It is advisable to learn at least elementary English phrases, then it is easier to solve possible problems and understand what others want from you. If you do not try to download your rights, but rest calmly, as foreigners do, then you will not notice any neglect of yourself. Enjoy your holiday! Kariya is a great choice!

I rested with my sister in Turkey Karia 4 * (Karia Holiday Resort) from 30.07. until 06.08. 2010 It's good that we were ready thanks to the reviews we read. I am writing my own, perhaps it will be useful to those who want to go. I must say right away that we were generally satisfied with the rest, because we didn’t expect anything special for the amount paid, although I was told that 4 * in Turkey = 5 * in Egypt. To put it mildly, this turned out not to be the case. Either I was lucky before with the Egyptian "fives", or this "four" pulls a maximum of "three". Now in order. Our tour operator "Natalie Tours" as a whole worked flawlessly, although they transferred us to Intertourist in Turkey, but their guide Tatyana took care of all the main issues. The meeting at the hotel left much to be desired: it’s okay that there are no free rooms during the season, and the check-in time is after two, when the vacant rooms are cleaned; we left things on the advice of the guide in the luggage room and went to swim in the pool (by the way, some of those who came with us from other tour operators sat at the reception until two, which clearly had a negative effect on their mood, further enhanced by the amount paid - we heard that one girl for the same period of stay in the same room paid a third more than us). We arrived at the indicated time, waited another 20 minutes, then gave the keys and offered to get there on our own (along with things! - well, there weren’t very many of them) or it’s not known how long to wait for the porter. Our room was located on the 7th level - this is, in fact, the last house on top of the second floor (the eighth level is the third floor of the same house) - it is very high, you can only get there by stairs, the total height is about 10-12 floors. If you are ready to get to your room in this way several times a day in the heat, then this is not a problem. It didn’t really bother us (we went to the sea for the whole day, and “forced fitness” turned out to be handy), but people with sore legs, overweight, and other diseases suffered, tried to change. But levels 1-5 are two-room suites, and it’s noisy there, and from 6 it’s already quite high. By the way, we passed through several hotels - even the fives have a similar location, and the upper levels are very high, but I did not notice special transport for movement.
The hotel is really located quite high (2 km to the beach - this is most likely in a straight line, and not along a serpentine road), but there were no problems with how to get to the sea: minibuses run from the hotel every hour (with air conditioning, comfortable), they don’t leave anyone if everyone didn’t get into one - after 5 minutes the second one will drive up, and in the morning two people always drove up to the beach and the last ones from the beach at once. Once, for the sake of experiment, we reached the beach on foot for 30 minutes leisurely with stops for photographing, we didn’t risk it up the heat and the serpentine road (there is no pedestrian zone). The beach is sandy, clean, the Mediterranean sea (and not the Aegean, as it was also written on some sites), swimming is suitable for people who do not swim well (like me) and families with children: 200 meters is quite shallow, the bottom level either rises or falls, so that swimming is safe, but for experienced swimmers, it’s probably boring: until you reach the depth... Of course, you can’t compare marine life with the Red Sea at all, so you don’t need to carry masks. There were waves for several days - everyone was happy with the free attraction. There are a lot of people in the sea, and local residents come too. On the beach of the hotel there are sun loungers (without mattresses), very rare weaving umbrellas, which save little from the very evil sun at this time (so take creams at least 30-40, be sure to wear a hat, a few opaque pareos and T-shirts with sleeves for walking and swimming in the sea, if you burn out), you can get to the so-called bar (it’s more like a stall) with a very meager assortment of dishes along the hot sand by several carelessly thrown boards. The climate, by the way, is peculiar: very hot (according to the season) - up to 40 degrees (in other areas, they say, it is even hotter at this time) and very humid, the skin is constantly moist, the breathing process is felt.
Another surprise is that linen is not changed every other day, as it is written on the Internet, but once a week, beach towels are issued once, change is not provided, laundry is paid. There is a strange system with towels in the room: there is a leaflet in the bathroom that, in order to preserve the environment, towels are often not washed, if you want a towel replaced, throw it on the floor. Using this recommendation on the third day, we lost a dirty towel (it’s good that we had one), but we didn’t get a clean one, we didn’t go to sort it out, we used the rest. In general, the idea is rather strange: both beach and room towels get so dirty in a week that ordinary washing is no longer enough. Now about the room: the room itself is quite spacious, there are two beds (double and one-and-a-half with good mattresses), the furniture is rather worn out (the wardrobe was difficult to open), the air conditioner hangs over the bed (it had to be turned off so as not to be blown away), the bathroom is small, and the shower the cabin is just tiny (with size 46 I constantly rested against different parts of the body, how do bigger people fit there - ??? ).
A separate topic is food: the restaurant is really nothing more than a dining room, carbonated drinks or diluted Zuko, there are no even packaged juices, a coffee machine (black coffee or with milk), drinking water on tap (everything in bottles is for a fee), beer and locally produced alcohol (by the way, there is no menu of cocktails or other alcoholic drinks, you had to guess what is possible), we drank mostly water, squeezing lemon juice into it; the food is scarce (really! ), of course, you won’t stay hungry (if you are ready to eat french fries and other similar unhealthy food), but there is not much choice, even from fruits in the season there were only watermelons, very mediocre melon taste, once apples and grapes. The pastries also did not please: rolls for breakfast are tasteless, for dinner every day 4 types of the same pastry. You can’t sit on the terrace during the day - the wasps cheerfully stick around the plate (we didn’t even try, but the people tried, but to no avail).
The hotel area is green, quite beautiful, the air is fresh, "dense" (mountains and pine forests), this area is considered one of the cleanest, wonderful sea views, there are small slides that work 2 times a day for 2 hours, 2 bars on the terraces , one by the pool, the pool is large, with sunbeds, mattresses and the same rarely wicker umbrellas. One very big disadvantage of the pool is that it is very slippery, the paths are spread out, but there is no way to walk only on them, everyone fell, both adults and children (we both took turns, and I assure you, without alcohol, during the day in such heat as - it didn’t work), the hotel protected itself by placing warning signs, instead of laying more paths. The animators are clearly overpaid, the evening performances evoked a feeling of pity and slight bewilderment (at least to make it funny, I won’t drink so much). Once there was a performance with an invited team for 1 hour (the so-called "Turkish night") pretty decent, on Saturday - "live music" - a Turkish orchestra (very loud), and that's it! The disco in a closed room did not interest anyone, there is nowhere to walk there (the territory is small, and outside the territory there are serpentine roads, we walked up and down for 40 minutes, walking along the slopes is somehow unsafe). Basically, people sit in the bar all the way in the evenings, so think about your entertainment yourself. In this regard, you will not need a special wardrobe, even in the evenings they go to dinner in shorts, you can not overload the suitcase (we had few things, but not all of them were needed). We also went shopping in the neighboring village to inquire about the prices, yeah, yeah. We went on one excursion: a boat trip along the reed river, Lycian tombs in the rocks, a turtle beach (the latter is a clear exaggeration, they partially lured one turtle out of the water, saw it for several seconds, it did not fully surface, and the luring process took about an hour). The rest of the tours are either expensive, or with a clear commercial bias, we were not interested in shopping in expensive stores, and it was frankly a pity for time.
Bottom line: if you are traveling only by sea and air, you have no problems with climbing stairs and special claims to nutrition, from entertainment you prefer a book (or get-togethers in a bar) and you buy a ticket that lasts cheaper - then go ahead. Sorry for the verbosity, I wanted to write in detail, because. I found few fresh reviews, and from previous years, judging by the same reviews, there have been changes.

I rested with my daughter 7 years old from 17.07 to 31.07. 2010. The vacation was a success, very beautiful places, an unusual beach, but next time I will go to another hotel. We drove 30 minutes to the hotel. with a check-in at Magic life, they settled for about an hour, the room got on the 7th level, very small, without a balcony, the air conditioner did not work well. I was able to change the room only after 4 days, because the hotel was full (as I was told at the reception). The new room was given on level 8, large, with a very large balcony, we really liked it. The furniture in the room is old, but this did not bother us, they climbed without difficulty, but many complained. The whole hotel is surrounded by greenery, very beautiful, the view from the window on level 8 is breathtaking, a lot of flowers. The bed linen was not changed even once, I often heard scandals about this at the reception desk, both from Russians and from foreigners. Sometimes insects climbed into the room, but this is in all hotels in this region (a lot of greenery). They fed well, there was a problem with places in the restaurant (there are tables on the street, but there were wasps and I was afraid to eat there, although many ate and did not bite anyone), at dinner there is a queue for hot, but I see this in almost every hotel (in Turkey, the fifth times), the waiters work well, the plates were quickly removed, I liked it. Animation in English, mostly for adults. There are a lot of foreigners and locals, they love this hotel, there are not many Russians. To the beach by minibus about 7 minutes. , they go every hour, a break from 12 to 14 hours, the last minibus at 19 hours (which was extremely inconvenient for me), a taxi costs about 7 dollars. Sometimes I had to wait for the filling of the minibus to the beach for 15 minutes. , it seems not for long, but with a poorly working air conditioner it is very stuffy and hot (minibuses strained me). You get to the beach through the park, it’s very beautiful, shady, it’s not at all tiring to go to the beach, peacocks, turkeys, geese, ducks go there, we often took bread in the dining room and fed the animals, the child liked it. The beach is excellent, the sand is soft, pleasant, we dug in it all the time, the entry into the sea is even, not a single pebble, clean sand under our feet, for a long time shallow, which is not unimportant for children, I am in complete admiration for the beach. There is a cafe on the beach, white plastic tables and chairs, everything is clean and in the shade, you can dine there, but the menu is very modest and monotonous, so we periodically went to the hotel for lunch. The most pleasant impressions were left behind, because I have never seen such beautiful places and a beach anywhere. If funds allow, it is better to go to the Magic life hotel, it is near the beach, but this tour to Kariya will be 2 times cheaper. Have a nice rest!!!! !
