We took not a standard, but a room with a side sea view. Thought it would not be as noisy as the sea view rooms. All side sea view rooms face the same street. You can hear your nightclub perfectly. Until 6 am! ! But on this street there is an Arabic restaurant and also a club! ! Great to see and hear from the balcony. The first row of the stalls! There's a huge flat-screen TV on the street that constantly shows sports competitions. Spotlight right in the window.
But all this is nonsense! The hotel has windows with excellent sound insulation. We closed the window, the door to the balcony, pulled the curtain, turned on the air conditioner - we sleep great! The bed is excellent, duvet, pillow, mattress. White linen. But the air conditioner turns off if you open the door to the balcony....In the morning the clubs are silent, we open the door - surf, air, beauty ! ! TV flat, there is a USB connector. You can watch movies on a flash drive. 4 Russian channels. There is a safe (extra charge), hair dryer, kettle, water. Slippers are provided. Yes, the shower is uncomfortable. There are no curtains and no matter how hard we try, the toilet, floor and toilet paper are wet.
Breakfast and dinner - buffet. The hotel is small, the choice is small. But everything is very tasty, everything is fresh. Dinner is always fruit and 2 kinds of hot. For example, meat and fish. For 2 weeks the assortment has never been repeated. They gave watermelon, melons, apples, pears, grapes, plums, peaches. Everything is very fresh. At dinner, water is free. Were in many hotels, drinks at dinner are always paid, even water. There is also a bar and a restaurant. You can order anything - hotel guests get a discount!
Your own beach. Exit directly from the restaurant. Tables smoothly turn into sunbeds. In the evening, tables are set up on the sand. Lanterns, hookah, live music.
But we must remember that the coast is northern. The coast is steep, the beach slopes towards the sea. In the morning the sun is on the right, I turn the sunbeds to the right. We lie on the slope. Dinner. The sun is behind. Everyone turns the beds back to front. We lie head down, towards the sea, legs above the head... Or maybe also a shadow from the shore or buildings on the shore. Therefore, we chose the first line and....in vain ! ! Though on your own beach and discounts. All 10 euros 2 sun loungers and an umbrella, and we are 9 euros! ! Tea, coffee from the bar with discounts. There is an ugly but shower. A basin of water will be brought, a glass of water is included in the price. Yes, there is a safe under the umbrella. But after lying upside down for a day, having paid 9 euros for sunbeds and 4.5 euros for two espressos, my husband and I didn’t go there anymore. We found a flat beach with grass, sunbeds in the form of bags (stuffed with something, like toys). Took two espressos for 5 euros. . . and that's it!!! ! Nothing else was taken from us. I want to note the staff of the hotel - this is its main advantage ! ! All the girls at the reception and in the restaurant are very kind, helpful, they try to speak Russian. When you speak Greek with them, they get offended: we can speak Russian. . . Huge hello to Katya from the restaurant with Russian roots. We have never met a kinder and friendlier person. In Kahlua rested together with my husband. We had a double room overlooking the sea, with a balcony, refrigerator, safe, plasma (2-3 Russian channels), split, everything you need, in a word. The furniture is new, plumbing too. Meals at the hotel are two meals a day: breakfast and dinner. The kitchen is without frills and signature dishes, but everything is edible and tasty. Salads (mostly Greek), eggs, sausages, cereals, vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee - this is for breakfast. For dinner, you are offered a choice of one hot dish of 3 or 4 (usually fish with a side dish, pasta, stewed vegetables with meat), as well as a salad, dessert. When we wanted something like that, in the sense of national Greek cuisine with seafood, we went to city restaurants and taverns. The beach near the hotel is small (grated pebbles with sand, stones come across at the entrance to the sea), quite clean, but paid (7 euros for two per day). The hotel does not have a territory as such, that is, only the hotel itself and the beach. I really liked the bar, both the drinks themselves and the musical accompaniment, you can smoke a hookah. Actually, we only spent the night at the hotel, rented a car from an agency, traveled around Crete, visited Greek monasteries, the Palace of Knossos, Zeus’s cave, we really liked just stopping by on the way to some village, having lunch in a tavern, everything was somehow very soulful. Of course, you can relax with children in the hotel, but keep in mind that there is nothing special for them here, playgrounds, mini-clubs, mini-discos, this is not. I would say that the hotel is good for youth holidays and for couples. In principle, if we meet again with my husband in Hersonissos, then we will stop here with pleasure.
