The only, perhaps, significant drawback is how the shower cabin is equipped - it is open, very small and hung with an ordinary bath curtain. If two people take turns taking a shower, the second one is already at risk of breaking something on the wet tiles. Separately, I would like to say about food, because. We had both breakfasts and dinners included, which allowed us to make a full impression. In principle, you never expect anything special from breakfasts for a 3 * hotel, but we have not tried such a meager and monotonous breakfast anywhere else. Every (every! ) day for a hot breakfast you will see an omelet with sausages, if you are lucky - it will be freshly prepared, not yesterday. Further, the assortment will be supplemented by all the same eggs, but hard boiled, small croissants in limited quantities (and you can still be told not to take a lot, others will not have enough), and a small arsenal of ham and cheese so that you can make yourself a sandwich. One kind of corn flakes, if you really get tired of the omelette, and a modest bowl of fruit (it will be a melon, and if you are very lucky, you will taste a watermelon, and if you are very lucky, you will snatch a cherry once). As for dinners, of course, any person who travels abroad does not expect to get acquainted with the national cuisine of the country from food at the hotel, but since we have chosen this type of food, I will say a few words here. Portions are very modest (a normal man, and even worked up an appetite by the sea, can immediately go to a restaurant). From the assortment - mostly meat (exclusively in a fatty gravy or a very hard steak in its pure form) with a side dish in the form of french fries, and it will be thoroughly salted for you to eat less. We were served fish in the sea country 2 times in all 13 days of our stay, and it was either in gravy or in a very salty breading, so the “identity” of the fish could not be established. For dessert, a piece of watermelon, or a nectarine, or one whole plum is served.
By itself, this family-type hotel is probably great, but only vacationers get the impression that with the birth of her granddaughter, the owner of the hotel has lost all interest in how the tourists actually stay in her hotel - this is very felt and does not make a plus for the "Greek" hospitality. It is even suggested to leave the keys to the rooms right at the reception at the counter, where anyone can take this key and calmly proceed to your room, while you allegedly handed it over to security and peacefully went to rest on the beach.
2. As for the place of stay itself, it is a holiday village with poor infrastructure. Of the attractions - the church, which is very close to the hotel, and the fortress of Platamonas, which is at least an hour and a half walkable. There is also no entertainment at sea (I think it is especially important for those who have a rest with children), and not at all. There are excursions offered both by the host (at very unattractive prices) and on-site organized excursions. In terms of food outside the hotel - 80% are fast food cafes (which, like in a restaurant, does not provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the national Greek food). The contingent of vacationers is mainly the local population of post-retirement age. And the sea was warm and comfortable??? ?

At the same time, one gets the impression that you did not pay money for the hotel, but arrived as a poor relative and must dodge either the hostess or her daughter, trying to get into your room. Yes, on the same chairs in the lobby, where the daughter of the hostess changes diapers for the child, the owner's dog lies almost all day long - of course I have nothing against dogs - but she first runs around bathing in the sea, then proudly wallows in the dust - and then lies on the armchair and eat there. And by the way, I'm not child free - there are children and even grandchildren)
By the way, about food - insanely meager, absolutely the same assortment every day - I list it by points, I will add a photo at the end of the review - scrambled eggs (either yesterday's warmed up or undercooked), bread, muffin, a maximum of 20 croissants the size of a little finger, boiled eggs, local yogurt of dubious freshness, canned peaches, olives are absolutely inedible, and 2 types of paper sausage and cheese (nobody ate sausage at all). Everything is laid out in a minimal amount and by 8.30 there is usually almost nothing left. Yes, more fruit, cut into 1 bowl of watermelon and melon (apparently Madame does not know that melon is eaten separately). Or a nectarine with an apple of the same cut. If 5 people had breakfast, you will not see fruits.
At the same time, the hostess approached my son when he went to get me croissants, and said that we had already taken croissants, she believes that we are not supposed to anymore. We ate enough....I have not seen anything like this anywhere...

The room has air conditioning, safe, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer. I do not know what languages the staff can communicate in, but there were no problems with English. Before the trip, I read that the tourist tax is paid upon arrival, but we were presented with an invoice upon departure, at the rate of 1.5 EURO for 1 day of stay. Rooms, cleaning, change of linen - everything is fine, but small showers, it will be difficult for large people. Every day in the evening live music. We heard well in our room, but it didn't bother us, quite the contrary. If it interferes, you can close the balcony and absolutely nothing will be heard. Breakfast - buffet, evening menu without choice. For 10 days, the dishes have never been repeated. We had a food problem for a 2 year old. There were no usual soups and porridge, if fried or french fries for dinner, I had to eat it - there were no options. In all of Platamonas, they did not find where you can feed the child and eat during the day, fast food is everywhere during the day. Perhaps because the season has not started and there will be more choice in the season. Only on the last day we found out that in our hotel you can order pizza in the afternoon. The pizza turned out to be very tasty. There is a pebble beach near the hotel, if you walk along the promenade towards the fortress, there is a sandy beach. We went there because of the child, the distance is not so great, it did not bother at all. But we liked to swim where the pebbles are. The sensations are different and the water is cleaner and warmer. Even further, at the foot of the mountain on which there is a fortress, a pebble beach with white stones, it’s cool there, but it’s far to walk. Repeatedly used the services of a travel agency near the hotel. Very good prices and selection of excursions. True excursions are quick, fact-finding. Very good excursion to the island of Skiathos, on the road 4.5 hours one way. but the road is absolutely not tiring, you can go with small children. We went to the meteors with a small child - no problem, though in Bolshiye Meteora they didn’t climb to the monastery with a child (164 steps to climb), you don’t need to climb to the convent, they took you by bus. I liked the tour. I didn’t like the Greek evening in Katharini at all - I don’t advise it. It is better to go to Olympus on your own (taxi or car rental), because with a tour there is little time on Olympus and they climb 100 meters. We went to the old Panteleimonas by taxi ourselves. They brought it there and then they came and took it away at the time that was agreed in advance. We paid 24 EUR for a taxi. You can order through the hotel reception or on the corner of the hotel there is a sign with taxi phone numbers.
