We traveled with four children - 5 years and half a year. We found this guest house on the Internet, read reviews, looked at photos - everything seemed to be pleasant. We phoned the owners, booked a room on the first floor (this was our prerequisite), with on-site amenities at a price of $ 35. We agreed on a transfer from the Simferopol railway station.
We were not met at the station, the owners mixed up the time. Okay, it's not scary - we took a taxi and drove ourselves. The owners apologized, everything seems to be fine so far.
Further, our room was still occupied, we were offered to live in another room on the second floor with an air conditioner and a bathroom. As a compensation. Well, one day is not scary.
In the room: bed, sofa (not very clean), MP windows - the balcony door does not open completely - sank, the window does not open in the ventilation mode. Rusty coat hooks. The bathroom has a very pitiful sight - there is no place to fix the shower, hot water is connected only to the shower - it is not in the washbasin faucet. View from the window on the wall of a neighboring building. I don't even remember everything. Considering the cost of this room is 80 dollars, its appearance is depressing... If it had cost 50 bucks - one could turn a blind eye to these things.
Separately, about the kitchen. There are no matches near the stove, because the owners are tired of putting them there, they are always dragged away by smoking vacationers. The dishes are sooooo old, cracked and in very limited quantities. That is, all three of us did not always manage to eat - sometimes we ate in turn. There are no teaspoons, in principle, for the same reason as matches. All plates and cups are dirty, although, why be surprised if there is no rag or dishwashing liquid in the kitchen - we urgently bought these things ourselves.
Farther. We were able to move only on the third day. And the first two days seemed like paradise to us.
Our little room on the first floor was obviously furnished in a shed. It was very dark and stuffy with tiny windows under the ceiling. The furniture was rickety with age and sticky with dirt. Lacquer was falling from the wood-panelled walls right onto the sheets. Under the ceiling - a piece of uninsulated cable. The summer kitchen on the street would be almost normal, despite the old age and skewedness, if not for one "but". Masseuse. Which rented a corner a meter from our dining table, was fenced off with a curtain and clients could come to it for a massage at any time. This was the last straw. Once we spent the night there, and in the morning we ran to look for new housing.
Oh, I forgot to mention the cost. As it turned out on the spot, in addition to $ 35, we had to pay another 50 UAH per day for utilities for the baby, the electric kettle was paid - 10 UAH per day. And for those who took root not in the room, but in... the "barn", it was also necessary to take an electric stove - 15 UAH / day. The kitchen was only for "white people".
