The hotel was chosen with a small number of rooms, necessarily apart, close to the sea in a small village. When I arrived, the room was not ready and I had to wait. although I checked in after eight o'clock in the evening, the tour operator forgot to warn the hostess of the hotel about my arrival. The owner of the hotel is a very responsible, friendly and clean woman.

When I arrived, the room was not ready and I had to wait. although I checked in after eight o'clock in the evening, the tour operator forgot to warn the hostess of the hotel about my arrival. The owner of the hotel is a very responsible, friendly and clean woman. The cleanliness of the rooms is top notch. Daily cleaning, every three days - change of bed linen and towels. The rooms are two-story, the bedroom is on the second floor, it is impossible to sleep without air conditioning, air conditioning is paid extra. The hotel has very poor soundproofing, the doors to the rooms are closed with a strong knock, and there is no other way to close it. Mostly parents with children rest in the hotel, so there is no escape from children's noise. So peace and quiet could only be dreamed of. Wi-Fi is free, but the connection is not very good. In general, the village of Agia Pelagia is a great place to relax with children, the sea is always calm there, unlike the beaches of Heraklion and Rethymnon, where it is constantly stormy. The beach is very good, sand and pebbles, the pebbles are very small. it's nice to walk on it. The beaches are cleaned daily, very clean. On the beaches there are sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee, showers and toilets (free of charge). But, if you want silence and are not lazy, choose a hotel away from the sea, somewhere on a hill, it is much calmer there.

Recently returned from a trip to the island of Crete, the village of Agia Pelagia. We stayed at the Joanna Hotel Studio. Great hotel! Very friendly hostess. 8 duplex rooms. In each room, in addition to a stove and kitchen utensils, an electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster. A small but cozy area where you can sit or lie down on sunbeds.

On the way to the sea, there are two supermarkets, a lot of souvenir shops. Along the beach there are taverns where you can eat tasty and cheap if you don't want to cook. Put 9, because. good audibility in the hotel, but it is everywhere (tested in many countries).
If you want to relax, I recommend this hotel!
